Rome turns to Alex and Docken. "This Bacari fellow. I've met him. Tried killing some of my party in Charis."

"I cannot agree, unfortunately. But you've met this rogue Bacari? He tried and killed you? Hmm... and he was a former hero. What scum."

Posted

"Eh, paladin? My heart is turning black, you know? All the evil in this world. It seems like what you do is evil, killing, fighting... even though it is right. We are heroes, but I must remember, we have a job, and it is to kill to help people."

"Indeed."

Rome turns to Alex and Docken. "This Bacari fellow. I've met him. Tried killing some of my party in Charis."

"Ah, perhaps that is what became of him, then. You defeated him?"

"Not really; he was a reckless Ranger who tried to poison an entire roasted cow with one of his arrows - Master Gligin here was the one dining on it, in fact, if I remember correctly. You, on the other hand, are a Paladin. The two of you are not really similar; you just remind me of him."

"Waste of a good cow that was. That was when tables were flipped and many people trying to buy drinks at the free bar."

"Evil and good, Life and Death. Without one there would not be the other. If It wasn't for evil, Heroica wouldn't exist."

"But the corruption is spreading to Heroica, our organisation could collapse because of our fellow heroes. It is one thing to die in combat to enemy but it would be much worse to be betrayed by a fellow hero."

"Melting through them looks to be the idea." Tesni grinned. "If I have to hang around here much longer though, I'm going to be making my kit into the best condition I can, I never hold well with clinging on to gold.."

"Gold is precious, but it does no good sitting in your pocket, eheh. I have already spent most of mine from the quest, I am ashamed to say, hehehe. I noticed a quest posted on the board today, are you planning on signing up?"

Make me an offer.

"Would you be willing to part with your White Marksman's Hat for either 50 Gold or my Gentleman's Hat (SP: 1, suitable for men, headgear. The wearer has a 1/2 chance to not be affected by Asleep.)? Perhaps a combination of the two; some gold and the Hat?"

"Good day, Master Ranger; I do not believe we have met before.

"The Gentleman's Hat is of little use to me, for the same reason that I am selling the White Marksman's Hat: I already have a very powerful hat. But 50 Gold, that is acceptable to me."

I hand Em the White Marksman's Hat in exchange for 50 Gold.

8 May 2013: That's 405+50=455 Gold, for reference, because I was looking at my Statistics and initially couldn't figure out where I'd picked up 210 Gold from.

Romulus tosses 160 gold at the Warden.

"One heavy armour please."

"Certainly, Master Dean."

I sell Romulus a Heavy Armor for 160 Gold.

"I think I will." Tesni shrugged, noticing the great flood of returning heroes. Including Docken from the party she had first joined. "Hey, with all these heroes, I should be able to shift some of this kit."

Posted

Tesni stepped up to the notice board and signed her name up for Quest 68 and then returned her note about Items For Sale/Trade to a prominent position for the benefit of the recent returnees.

Posted

Noticing the note and assuming that Tesni intends for interested heroes to ask about the items for sale, I approach the Berserker's table.

"Miss Hightribe, it's been a long time since we last quested together. I read that you have items for sale; what kind of items?"

Posted

"Well met Docken, it has indeed been a long while. I have recently come into some loot that is of little or no immediate use to me. The Sedge Hat (Max. Ether +4; suitable to mages, clerics, minstrels, necromancers and chi monks; headwear), it adds extra ether to the wearer but the most magic I use is gems in my weapons. I also have a Spiked Club (WP:8) and a Samurai Helmet (WP:4, suitable to knights, dragoons, regulators, winged warriors)." She grinned and placed each item on the table.

Posted

"Ah, I see. Unfortunately I can't really use any of those myself. Already have a hat, and I'm not really a magic user, either. I multiclassed to Warden in order to use this shield, and I'm probably going to wait until I get to Level 50 before attempting to master control of Ether and the elements."

OoC: Aw, you're not selling the Bright Polish.

Posted

"Ah well, maybe someone who could use them will call by." Tesni shrugged and swept the items into her pack. "So how has these Quests been treating you? It has been a long time since the farm."

OOC: Yeah, that is being saved for a rainy day. Like the bombs and grating stones

"I've been back to the farm twice now, actually. Overrun with all kinds of different enemies, and the Direwolves are as annoying as ever."

"I made a brief return a while ago now." Tesni shrugged, "We didn't hang around long as the team had other plans. I've also sailed to far off lands by ship and skyship, fought to a finish in a tower full of bandits, slogged through a maze and fought beasts of chaos. All in a normal life for a hero though right?"

"Indeed. Chaos, you say? The second quest I went on involved chaos; we were taken to an arena run by one Lady Wren, who was attempting to harness chaos. I heard some of the other heroes mention that she was finally taken down recently."
Posted

"Yes, I fought her in Haddon but missed the final battle." Tesni sighed, "Now I'm awaiting a new quest. Hopefully I'll get to go smash rats for a bit. Something nice and simple after puzzles and trap infested towers."
