Before they left, Romulus looked at the Dragon, and said "No thanks. I'm not getting on that. See you there. "

Romulus soon exited the hall looking human, and after exiting the city a werewolf. He ran and ran, finally reaching the spot described.

"Ah, I guess that was a poor choice of words on my part. My parents are dead. The letter was more of a final statement."

"Oh...my condolences. Would you like to ensure they go to a better place?"

[Bricksandparts]

...Way back when

"There isn't much need to waste a potion, you can head over to the infirmary at the arena. They can fix more than a potion anyways."

...and just a little bit ago

"Sure thing, but you're missing out on an opportunity of a lifetime, at least for a while." Johon says and quickly sketched a map of where to go. "I'll guess we'll see you there."

"'The Stalker'? Can't say it sounds familiar. I have heard that there is an insane knight walking around who calls himself Dak. Says it's an 'alternate personality' or something bizarre. The guys a complete loony. The name 'Dak' does not therefore leave the greatest impression. Your surname is 'Shadeaux' you say? Related to the 'Shadeaux Family' in any way? I just met one of them on my last quest actually. Pleasant girl!"

"Aye, I am that Dak, though my... troubles seem to be plaguing me less since I gave up the ways of the Black Knight. Yes, I am related to the Shadeaux family, how else would I get this surname?"

"I apologize; if we have met before, I do not remember it, although I do recall that one named 'Dak' joined Heroica just a couple months after I did, and was then not seen in the Hall for quite some time. Welc-"

I roll my eyes.

"So as I was saying, welcome back, Master Shadeaux."

"Thank you, sir. I, too, don't recall ever meeting you, but I have heard much of your exploits in my time in the city. Truly, it is an honor to meet a hero as respected as you, Sir Docken. I wish I could say the same for that witless brawler who just attempted to knock the door off its hinges."

[herrJJ]

"My mother told me of a time when my kind was in favour of the dragons. She told me about flying one. It was my dream to do so... with her. And now..." Nessa mumbled. Some tears were running down her face as she sat on the dragon's back.

OOC: I really don't know what is happening right now But I like it

OoC: Are you talking about what is going on or RP, or possibly something else? Anyways, I'll move this on, if Kintobor has any more RP for this scene, just specify.

Ethelim lands by the home, covered with tarps for protection from the rain. Johon remembered how unfinished his home was, for he had been preoccupied with quests and sorts.

"It's a bit of a mess for now, but I should have it completed sometime in the near-by future." Johon notices Romulus isn't at the home yet, but didn't expect him to be. "What should we practice first?"

~A new quest has been posted on the Quest Board (#70 by Endgame)!~

Romulus hears a massive sound, so he picks up the pace, with a howl he storms towards the noise.

"What did I miss?"

Johon is surprised to see Romulus so soon. Only a few minutes had passed of small talk when Johon realized Romulus had arrived. He must have taken more time doing tricks than he had thought.

"Hello Romulus, You haven't really missed much, other than the ride on the dragon of course. So what skills should we touch on first? The most useful would be agility, melee, and hand-to-hand combat. Using those 3 skills will give the fighter that applies them a great advantage in battle."

"Agility is my forte. Stealth, not so much, I imagine we can't get some stealth training from Karie here. Brute force and Agility I can take care of. "

[Vash the Stampede]

Dreyrugr walks in the hall to see it bustling more than he had yet seen. He quickly turns to the board. Another search it seemed. This one seemed to require a knight to gain information. Dreyrugr hardly seemed diplomatic but there was more than one way for gleaning information. Dreyrugr signs his name under Quest #69. He then turns to the other quest. It seemed pretty sraightforward. Tackling an armoury seemed easy enough but a strange feeling creeped up Dreyrugr's hand as he signed up for quest #70.

Dreyrugr then posts a notice of his own.

Venom-3 gold each

Buy 4 for 10 gold.

Dreyrugr then heads for a corner to sit down and mull over recent events.

Karie rubbed Nessa's back.

"There's no reason to get upset. What's passed has passed. I'm certain she'd at least be proud you got the opportunity to ride one of these things."

The dragon lands near an unfinished house near a pristine lake. Karie back flips off the dragon and helps Nessa down.

"So, let me get this straight, I help you guys with stealth, and you guys help me by being being more awesome? I can live with that. To be straight, I'm not he greatest at teaching stuff, but I can attempt to teach you some basics."

A strange ethereal letter appears in front of her. She cautiously opens the letter and reads it over.

"Excuse me for one second, seems as if a new quest just popped up on the quest board."

Taking a pen out, she signs the notice for Quest 70: The Syndicate, Karie Alderflask

"Anyone else wish to sign?"

[Bricksandparts]

Johon glances at the note, and decides to wait to see if there are any other quests.

"I think I'll wait for now, It sounds like they are wanting newer heroes. I might join, if no other quests come up or something along those lines. Just a second, I'll be right back."

Johon walks over the the tarp and lifts up part of it, walks in, and comes back out a minute later carrying a toolkit and some wooden staffs. Passing each member a staff, he continues with the training.

"Perhaps we should start by gauging your current melee skills, so that we can see what to practice?"

[Kintobor]

Karie holds the staff in a few different positions, trying to get the best hold on it.

"Sure, you're the expert."

Karie readies her stance, waiting for Johon's first move.

"Well, I wouldn't say expert. I guess we'll start with defense. There are different types of defense," Johon explains. "For example, if I bring my weapon down like this:" Johon shows what he means by swinging his staff downward, the main blocking motion would be horizontal and outwards. This for example is completely different from a lunge. If I lunged my weapon toward you, you could deflect it or dodge it." Johon shows what he means by acting it out.

OoC: I'm gonna make some pictures to show what I mean, in the meantime I think you get the gist of these moves. Hopefully we can get into a small battle that uses different moves using defense and offense.

"Let's practice these moves." Johon says, preparing to fight.

"Thank you Karie. Ehm, yes. I'd also like to sign up for that Quest #70." Nessa said.

Nessa grabbed one of those staffs and held it in front of her... like a bow. "Excuse me, I am not that experienced in melee combat at all. How do I hold such a thing? There is no bowstring. How do you even fight with it?" She watched as Johon showed some basic moves with the staff. "So blocking and lunging it is. Hmmh, well, let's see." Nessa lunged for Johon from the back row as she was used to do so.

OOC: Yes I meant RPing, but I am absolutely confident it will end up well

Dak pushed Drake off of stairs so Drake decided to sign up for Quest #69 and Quest #70!

"The honor is mine. I must say, you do not strike me as one who acts like a Black Knight. Sort of like a Metasimian I quested with once, Master Thothwick; I heard he became a Black Knight.

"And yes, it appears that the dramatic entrance involving some method of loudly opening the doors to announce one's presence is a common problem."

OoC: For now, since the battle isn't really like a battle battle, I'll keep it RP until we design a system that would work in mechanics form.

"Hm. I see. Suppose it wouldn't be easy for you to find work looking like that. Can't blame you. Now, want to see this girl in action?"Guts said, Referencing the ship they were on.

"Of course... though I have never sailed by myself, eheh..." Hybros picked up the rope he was holding earlier and looked to Guts for instructions. "Two people can get this out of the docks, you say?"

Romulus shouts a bye and sprints off, having remembered he had to do something.

He signs up for Quest 70.

"Of course... though I have never sailed by myself, eheh..." Hybros picked up the rope he was holding earlier and looked to Guts for instructions. "Two people can get this out of the docks, you say?"

The raider displays a wide grin. "Wait and see." Quickly, he unties the ropes that tie the ship to the docks, and pulls in the walking plank. He then raises the anchor, and runs up to the wheel. He directs Hybros to another rope, and tells him to pull. The front sails unfold, and as Guts turns the wheel, the ship starts turning as well. with Guts' instructions, and Hybros' handling of the sail, it doesn't take long before the ship is free in the water. Then Guts pulls on a rope near him, and the other sail unfolds as well. With the ship building speed, it doesn't take long before they left Eubric's bay.

"Oh...my condolences. Would you like to ensure they go to a better place?"

"I think they're happy enough where they are."

"I think I'll take a look at that new quest, care to join me?"

Karie watches as Romulus runs off. She wondered what was going on back at the hall.

"What's his deal? Does he do that often?"

Karie could tell Nessa was struggling with the staff. The only thing she could do was smile and face-palm.
