Johon shrugs as Romulus runs off.

"He often seems to be a little strange... So, shall we get to some practice?"

Johon makes his first move, swinging his staff downwards towards Karie.

"There are different principles to defeat your enemies. Find their weaknesses and use their attacks to your advantage."

With a gust of wind, Sylph Solanum blew into the room. He walked towards his lonely corner of the Hall, and almost sat down, but then noticed a new Quest on the board. He stood back up and signed up for Quest 69. "Hopefully this'll be easy. I'd love to blow through a quest after such a hard one-day-war."

"Aye, I am that Dak, though my... troubles seem to be plaguing me less since I gave up the ways of the Black Knight. Yes, I am related to the Shadeaux family, how else would I get this surname?" :hmpf:

"Oh, had you such a disorder yourself? My apologies, I was not referring to you. I was referring to that loudmouth who just fell off the stairs. Apparently, his name is Drake, but he calls himself 'Dak' at odd times."

"So, new assassin, is it? You should meet with Mizuki, the ninja-girl. She knows how to pluck the life out of bird and beast alike. Vicious think really."

"I think they're happy enough where they are."

"I think I'll take a look at that new quest, care to join me?"

"Oh...

The new quest looks interesting, indeed. Fighting the Wolfgang is certainly worthy of any hero's time. I don't like that the Lycan fellow signed up for it, though. That could only spell trouble, if you know what I mean. I have to say that the reward is tempting too. The level of experience would be great and I hear there is a hero in the hall who is willing to buy grating stones at around 200 gold a piece. Still, the other quest asked for a knight and solving murder mysteries is intriguing indeed."

Mizuki walks into the hall and sees Monk Pretzel speaking to several heroes. She goes up to the bar and grabs a glass of ale before walking to Monk Pretzel and saying "I forgot to give you back the Magic Viper Skin while we were in Dastan so here it is," before passing him the Magic Viper Skin

"You're right, the murder certainly sounds like a worthy quest. It's been a while since I've done that sort of thing, though, and I don't know if I'm still experienced enough to be chosen. I might take my chances with that Lycan person if not."

Erik suddenly notices a female in dark clothing appear and hand something to Monk Pretzel.

"Mizuki?"

As Drake stumbled over to the stairs again, he couldn't help but notice Erik gasping at someone.

"Wha...? Erik? What have you see-"

Drake was cut off as Dak pointed over to a serious looking female, covered in black, roguish clothes with a lot of deadly looking weapons. The weapons looked like they were mostly used in assassinating people.

"An assassin? Why would anybody want to gasp at an assassi-"

"Drake. Try to consider who the assassin actually is."

Drake looked closely at the woman's face. Bright red lipstick, probably as red as blood. Black hair that was straightened to a point where it looked like metal poles sticking downwards. Drake then noticed the smooth, bright face.

"Wait, is that...? It can't be... She looks so... different. I mean..."

"She's moved on, mate. You've only been on 2 quests. You don't really sign up for that many. Her, though. She's a star in the eyes of those who need help. So she ends up going on loads of quests. Gets more and more experienced, until the point where she feels she's experienced enough to take on a new style. She's clearly chosen the path of an Assassin, which is mostly killing people but being sneaky about it. She had experience with being a rogue before, so she could take on this style easily."

"Mizuki... man, I need to catch up."

"Hm." stated Sylph contemplatively. "A new quest." Sylph walked back to the board. "No Wolfgang Experience. 250 gold. Sounds fair." Sylph signed up for Quest 71. "And it seems I missed this one." He signed up for 70 as well. "Hopefully if I can't get into 69, I'll get one of these two." He finished, returning to his lonely corner of the hall.

Elgar looks at the quest board to see 2 new quests. He mumbles "A wolfgang armoury, I wouldn't trust some heroes here to deal with it. And an archaeological marvel, something that must be protected as well."

Elgar signs up for quest 70 and quest 71

Romulus laughs at what Elgar said. "What is so bad with the Wolfgang? "

"Hijacking any progress for their own good. When they say they are fighting against the houses for the benefit of the people they mean the benefit of the Wolfgang. They are no more than petty criminals who wish to turn Eubric in to a wretched hive of scum and villainy."

"Arguably the same could be said about Heroica. Personally, I believe that they may change Eubric for the better."

"How can petty criminals whose only concerns are lining their pockets and becoming more powerful change the world for the better? Instead of 6 house we will have one house who will abuse their power. Anyway Heroica was founded on good principles but some members are not heroes, but with the Wolfgang it is the leaders that are the issue."

"Alex, would you ever side with the Wolfgang?"

"Hmm... what a controversial issue. They argue the houses are destroying Eubric, so destroying with them would be good. ON the other hand, the Houses help protect Eubric and keep it prosperous. It just depends I guess. If some petty criminal tried to convince me, I never would. But if a highranking one had some good reasons or arguments, I don't know."

"It is true, what stops the Wolfgang from abusing their new power if they take control?"

Hybros yanked the rope to let the sails of Guts's ship loose, and the ship took off. The shake caused Hybros to lose his footing and fall to the deck. "Oof!" He quickly got up to see the docks shrinking into the distance behind them, and the sea growing wider in front of them. His stomach did a few somersaults, so he quickly made his way to the railing at the edge of the ship and sicked overboard. Wiping his mouth, he mumbled. "Uh, never got used to sea travel..." He picked up the rope to the sails again and adjusted them slightly, before yelling to Guts at the wheel, "King of the world, eh Guts? Hehehe."

The raider smirked as the imp threw up. The creature did seem more suited for life underground, rather than on sea. He had never had trouble on sea himself, after all, from Strivvi there were only two options, the ocean of sand, or the ocean of water. He yelled at Hybros: "Feel free to give more sail! The world? Perhaps a little less ambitious!" It was the second time in a relatively short period someone had him thinking about leadership. Of Eubric. The raider turned the wheel, and said, jokingly: "Think I'd make a good king?"

Hybros tugged on the rope a little more, and the ship picked up speed. It wasn't long before the outlines of the buildings of Eubric faded from vision, and the island of Goland was quickly approaching on the horizon. "A king?" Hybros thought for a moment. "It does not quite suit you, eheh. Though you certainly have the riches to become one. No, you are much better off doing... good on the front lines." Thinking of combat again made Hybros' chest ache in pain, and he coughed a little.

Guts remains silent for a while, somehow, he felt disappointed by that answer. Eventually, he said: "It doesn't take wealth to become king, if so, Guffington would be in charge around here." After more silence, the raider steered the ship to the left of the island in front of them. "Are you okay over there?."

William wakes up, eyes blurry. How long he'd been sleeping for, he couldn't. The Hall had less people now, but he saw two men staring and gasping at Mizuki. William laughs. "What foolish men, to be so vulnerable around an assassin."

Karie blocks Johon's attack.

"I don't see where you're going with this. Any sensible person wielding a sword should know how to block."

IC: De'kra spotted Mizuki enter the hall, and dipped his head in greeting. "We might want be prepare for trouble," he clicked, "Last I heard there was quest about Wolfgang possibly attempting to assassinate leaders of houses. Questers still have not come back yet, so threat might be real. And since one of Veterans of Heroica is major leader of Bonepartes, Heroica might be affected."

OOC: De'kra was out of it most of Quest 44, but I believe he was in it enough to figure out the revelation at the end.

Mizuki sees a young man with an axe look at her. She turns to the man and says "Oh my gosh, is that you Erik ?"

Turning around, she sees Dek'ra and says to him "Don't worry, you just got to believe in those heroes that they can defeat the Wolfgang."
