OoC: Oh so the flash is not metal, it is a literal flash and you are talking to Johon.

"Why? Someone needs to teach him something! He's gonna get another hero killed some day. Why shouldn't I do this? He won't listen to anyone, he almost gets one of his allies killed, doesn't even care about it, then pulls pranks on them!"

[Tachyon]

"I'm not going to stand by while my Nakama get beaten up, I'm warning you if you go and attack him one more time, I will shoot you."

Mizuki then turns to Drake and says to him "Are you an idiot ? Stop doing stupid things to people who can easily beat you. If your'e not careful, you can get seriously hurt or even die."

[Bricksandparts]

"This isn't about him, it's about the countless people he is putting in danger. He needs to learn, but won't take any advice. He needs to step it up or leave. That why everyone hates him. He doesn't even realize what he is doing is wrong."

[Tachyon]

"I'm sure he has his own reasons for all the stupid things he does. If he can't do his duty of protecting people, then you guys have to take that duty. People who aren't serious about the tasks they perform, probably won't be chosen for other tasks. I'm fine with you yelling at him or slapping him in the face to teach him a lesson but beating him up goes too far."

[Bricksandparts]

"And dunking the hero he almost got killed in rum is fine? That's just our problem, right?"

[Tachyon]

"Wasn't that just a prank ?"

[Bricksandparts]

"I don't care if it's a prank, he didn't even care that he had almost killed her. Also, I've told him specifically not to come here after I caught him spying on me, yet, of course, he comes back."

[Tachyon]

"You do realise that Drake is quite possibly mentally unstable right ? Though if he truly failed to save her, then he probably has inner guilt on his soul or consience unless he's a psychopath. By the way, if you don't want him to come onto your property, shouldn't you just build a fence or a wall ?"

Karie notices a young woman stand up and bolt out the door. She feels a sudden urge of guilt. Johon wasn't with her when she left his place. Perhaps he was giving Drake hell. Perhaps he was beating his head in. Perhaps Drake was prancing about Johon's corpse with his imp. It seemed as if she was doomed to live a life of regret and dispair. She still stank of rum, and her make up was still smeared. One could see where the rum had trickled down her. She got up and left the main hall to find a potential place to shower herself. Perhaps it would calm her down.

Alexandre, seeing Docken and Guts whispering decides the conversation wasn't meant for him. He still kind of slightly eavesdropped, but walked away to a table in the corner. Then waited.

[Bricksandparts]

Johon picks up drake and tosses him towards Mizuki.

"Look, I'll let him go this time, but if he leaves another ally and then gives them crap, he's gonna deal with me."

[Kintobor]

Alexandre sits in the table in the back corner. A single half drunk bottle of Falana Wine, a rather popular beverage from Chairis, sits up right by the chair directly in the back corner. Small indents have been made by what appear to be a dagger, and scratched into the table is a single name: Karie Alderflask.

Alexandre stops. Thinks for a moment. Then he just drags a chair from another table and slides it next to the other. He sits down and rests his left arm on the chair with the bottle of wine.

"Wine de Charis? Tres bien."

[Tachyon]

Mizuki nods to Johon before walking back towards Eubric.

She thought to herself "If I hadn't got to Drake in time ,would he have ended up like Daxus?"

She remembered the last moments of Daxus's life as he tried to stop the Death Progg.

She remembered him as the only nakama that she failed to save.

Karie finishes applying the last bits of face paint. She grabs her mask from the sink and puts it back on her face. She checks herself over to ensure everything is in place. She poses in the mirror winks at herself and then leaves the shower feeling better. She walked back into the bar and back to the table in corner. Sitting at her table is a man in black armour.

"Can I help you?"

Her hands reached for her hips, with her right hand on her dagger, hilt. The guy seemed less than trustworthy.

Which wasn't saying a whole lot, since she herself was classified as a "rogue".

Alexandre smiles as he sees her reach for her dagger. He simply looks at it, then looks down at himself (wearing brightly polished black plate armor) then he looks at Karie. "Karie, don't even try. You put on a lot of makeup... what is it for?" Alexandre grins wolfishly. Another person he managed to scare?

Karie crosses her arms and stares Alexandre down.

"I don't believe I'm inclined to tell you anything. What I do with my appearance is my business, and mine alone. So if that's the only reason you're here you can go get run over by a cart. Wait, how do you know my name?"

She hadn't told anyone but her dagger was designed to be easily concealed. She had stuck it up her sleeve just in case this Black Knight decided to get violent.

"I'm just curious. I'm in no search for trouble. You carved your name with the dagger. And left the wine here."

"I'm Alexandre le Chevalier. I've done quite a few quests, including defending a Lion fort from elves, saving the empire of Dastan, and defending Luosh fom giant scorpion like species called Proggs. Oh, and I had to help this magician test magic pills, but that didn't turn out well."

"Alas, that these evil days should be ours. That we should live to see what could be the end of these Houses."

"As long as it will not be the end of Eubric. Good to have you on my side, then."

[Kintobor]

Most of the tension in her body left, as she let her arms drop.

"Well, I suppose that makes sense."

Karie sat down in her chair and grabbed the bottle back from Alexandre.

"So, here I am, in the flesh, or in the pale, since very few people have ever seen my flesh. I must ask, are you from Chairis by any chance?"

Elgar walks back into the hall after spending a couple of days around town and sits down in a corner of the bar. It was refreshing for him to see the hall be a calm place of conversation, it looked like some of the heroes had gone to settle their differences elsewhere.

[Capt.JohnPaul]

Most of the tension in her body left, as she let her arms drop.

"Well, I suppose that makes sense."

Karie sat down in her chair and grabbed the bottle back from Alexandre.

"So, here I am, in the flesh, or in the pale, since very few people have ever seen my flesh. I must ask, are you from Chairis by any chance?"

"I come from very near there. It was a small Elvish fief. Now where are you from?"

[Kintobor]

"Chairis. My parents moved there from Dastan, so I never got the accent. My dad started his own business as a merchant. He merged with the Shadeux to increase his sales revenue and then moved to Chairis shortly thereafter."

Karie chuckles.

"I was eighteen when my folks decided to send me off to university. They said they "couldn't handle my behaviour!" Never really found it insightful. Just a few old guys trying to exploit the richer families. And for what? A piece of paper and the right to wave it in others faces? Yeah right. I'll never understand why my sister was so intent on staying there."

She takes a swig out of the bottle.

[Brickdoctor]

"As long as it will not be the end of Eubric. Good to have you on my side, then."

I nod in agreement.

"And as long as it is not the end of Heroica. Perhaps it would even be for the better, if a just new power can be installed. I only hope that it is not a criminal organization like the Wolfgang that gains power. I've overheard heroes talking of siding with the Wolfgang to take down the six Houses and the Town Watch, claiming that the Wolfgang has the people's best interests in mind and is less corrupt than the other powers. I don't see anything good coming of that."

[Scubacarrot]

Guts was about to take a sip, but instead puts the bottle back down.

"So, that's how far it has gotten... Anyone who thinks, let alone says that is a fool. I'll be honest, I don't think highly of Heroica, but I doubt the veterans would allow such idiots to remain in the ranks. They are going against what Heroica was created for, protecting Eubric... Anyone that calls themselves a "Hero" and works with the Wolfgang is a criminal in my book."
