"Wow, that hurts," Althior rolls his eyes, "I hope you realize how blind you are not to see it, dwarf. And I am an idiot? You're kind can never even approach my level of knowledge."

Finnegan leans over to the dwarf. "Don't worry, you'll warm up to him eventually. It's only taken me about a year and a half,"

"HOW-DARE-YOU-YOU-LITTLE-CREEP!"

I am not going to tell what happened next.

It's to violent.

Suffice to say it took the combined strength of all the heroes within ten feet of the, er, incident to keep Throlar and Althor separate from each other.

"LEMEE GO! I'M GONNA RIP HIM LIMB FROM LIMB AND FORCE-FEED HIM TO A WALRUS!"

OOC: Lord Duvors, maybe you should contact K-nut before stuff like that. It is considered common courtesy to say what you try to do, instead of dictating actions and the responses of other characters. For example, you shouldn't say "Throlar punches Althior and he begins to cry and bleed." But rather say, "Throlar tries to punch Althior really hard." :classic:

(Because, you know, some people wouldn't mind Althior getting beat up and wouldn't stop you.) :innocent::tongue:

Benji swivels around and sees Heckz peeking up from behind a table.'Moron'. Benji snarls at him aggressively and swivels back around and orders another drink. Jeaux subsequently walks up. 'Someone more reasonable, thank the heavens.' "DO I LOOK DIFFERENT, HUH I DIDN'T NOTICE. *SIGH* I DOn't expect you to understand this, but lets just say that I finally gave way. Doubtfully you had noticed it, but even before Nova Tertia I had noticed something changing in me. I was in the fields of glory you see. We slayed a dragon. I think that a shard of its soul has been embedded in me, causing me to become more and more... reptilian. I have tried to hide it - but the symptoms keep growing. Pointy teeth, claws, scales... The battles on Nova Tertia seemed to advance the disease. I realized that I was mutating and I nearly succumbed during one of the battles - perhaps you remember. Anyways, I seeked the advice of the keeper of the Embassy, who seemed knowledgable in the field and gave my three options. I chose to adapt - maybe in this manner I will learn to control my newfound powers. I have learnt with the Fox how to efficiently switch between forms during battle. I, my good automaton, am no longer half-elf... I. Am. The Wereptilian."

"I understand better than you'd think. So you have simply accepted that your new form? You spent your entire life as a half-elf and now that you are a ... wereptilian you say, you can just accept it. How? How can you simply accept the thing you are now, instead of pursing a means to reverse the change, to become what you once were?"

"First off, beimg a half-elf wasn't all fun and games. Being shunned both by elves and laughed at by humans, made things a bit rough. I grew up with only a couple friends - my cousin Alexis and also a metasimian named Myggidos who was my friend and mentor. Anyways, being different is something I've always been used to. But this... Werebody is just strange. I wanted it, but at the same time despised it. I tried to seek a way to heal myself, but apparently its not so easily acquired. One way was by the powers of some witch, named Booboo or Baba or something, I dunnah. But i decided to just stick with it. You know, roll with the punches that life throws at you. "LEMEE GO! I'M GONNA RIP HIM LIMB FROM LIMB AND FORCE-FEED HIM TO A WALRUS!"

Despite her earlier warning, it seemed Tesni would need to take some action. The landlady was busy and a hall such as Heroica had no need for any sort of guard. With a sigh she approaced the rookie from behind and brought her balled fist down onto his head with a clunk. The action left him out cold on the floor. With a nod to onlookers and a job done hand clap she sat down and finished off her latest round.

(Moderator Note: Any more of that, roleplay or not, and you'll be cooling your heels elsewhere.)

Sarge can see Tesni getting rather angry and, as a born surviver, goes into a mode of polite military speak when replying to Althior's comment

Althior turns around to face the older man. He laughs, mocking their little "organization". He speaks up, both infuriated and amused by them. "Really? You think you can take down the Wolfgang? A couple inexperienced knights? Ha! Even the veteran's themselves couldn't take down that organization if they tried. And who deems them as bad? They merely want a place in this city. And I could care less if they got it or not. But going to say that you need to take them down is along the lines of me forming a group and going to take out the Town Watch. It doesn't happen. And it will never happen. So, do yourselves a favor, and live a little while longer and do some good instead of trying to take them down. I don't care if it happens when you cross paths, but sitting here plotting to take them down does no good,"

Sarge looks upon Althior as a Child might with an insect. That is to say that Sarge was curious and rather amused rather than Althior being a bug to be squashed."Quite so. It will never happen and stuff. :sarcasm_smug: Whatever you say sir. :smug: " Sarge turns to Alexandre and Mouths Who the hell is this kid young professional ? :def_shrug:

Sarge sighs slightly. He wasn't supposed to be smirking at the two [Especially the bit about the Walrus] but he was that sort of knight. "Restraint is Key young... Padadwarf. Or something."

Ooc: Don't let's be so hard on him guys, he just hasn't got the hang of roleplaying yet. I think I even started a battle myself in quest #47.

OOC: Ya, Sarge was just as bad!:wink:

Alexandre turns as Tesni speaks up. Alexandre actually shrinks back as if she was a threat. 'Why women should be so powerful is beyond me.' He thinks. He reminds himself not to mess with her, or any barbarian for that matter. Anyways, he is glad people share similar views on Althior. Haldor and Tesni he heard were like that, which was a relief, Atramor seemed kind of neutral, and of course, Alexandre has his loyal knights of this round table to back him up. Thus, Alexandre gets more confident, and snarls at Althior.

"Struck by lightning, struck by lightning."

Throlar gets up.

Looking around wildly he sees Althor.

His voice low and menacing he says "You creep, you've insulted my entire race, think I'm gonna stand by and let that happen? Take it and leave it? well you've come to the wrong dwarf. Come on, put 'em up."

And so saying he puts his fists up.

If his face wasn't contorted with rage he'd look comic.

Atramor chuckled and shook his head as Tesni cracked down fairly literally on the angry dwarf. Between him, Althior, and the screaming gator-man, he was beginning to think he wouldn't get a moment of quiet. He polished off one last bottle of rum before heading to the marketplace briefly.

"I suppose you may be right. Change isn't necessarily a bad thing, and it may be wise to evaluate it for what it is before making judgments as to the benefits or drawbacks it brings."

Heckz' eyes turned red with rage as Benji looked at him angrily for no reason. His hand gave out a cool blue fire. One of this days I'll have the bastard in his knees. Heckz orders wine and kept reading his book.

"Yeah." Benji swivels around on his chair to see the newcomer acting like a complete fool. Grunting an apology to Jeaux, Benji gets up and walks over to the dwarf. He grabs him by the collar and holds him a two feet above the ground. He carries him outside of the hall, and sets him down carefully on the steps. Benji sits down by him. "You need some help Mr. Throlar? Your face is as contorted as a prune."

Haldor sighs as Tesni stands up to leave.

"Hah. There goes my drinking buddy..."

Alexandre's face, one of disgust with all the antics, heads over to Haldor, desperate for a conversation. "Hey, way to crazy in here."

"You're damn right about that. I'm in need of someone sane to talk too, so please, take a seat." He waves Alexandre to a seat. "How's that club of yours coming along then, had any new membership? I'm not one for tying myself to any one group of allies, 'case time comes that none of them are around to help me out if I've alienated the rest of this merry organisation. Did you say that you're planning to rid this city of the wolfgang? Good luck with that, the buggers are everywhere. Heard that they were behind that stint at the Foundation Day ball, nasty bit of business that. It sounds as though the top dog Ulfric is preparing something big for our good selves of Eubric, you'll likely have your work cut out. Me, I'm going to do my bit to keep an eye open and help as best I can. It's important to not show your hand too early, mind."

Alexandre graciously sits. "It's slow, we need more knights back in the Hall. That dwarf appears to want to join, but I guess Sir Sarge and I are going over the membership application. I guess we don't have a concrete plan yet. We just need quests where we can crush them. But some people," Alexandre glances around, "like Althior, just try and ruin it. No task is impossible."

"Help? HELP? That creep said that 'your race could never approach my level of knowlege' thats the same as saying 'all dwarfs are stupid' STUPID! I'll give him stupid, or would, if he was closer to my level of experience."

Throlar gave a look of utter helplessness.

"I'm an ambassador, not a berserker, how could I hope to go up against a necromancer and win?"

He suddenly stopped and looked at Benji.

"But you, you're a were-reptilian,aren't you? You could go up against him and win, couldn't you?"

Benji chuckles at the dwarf. 'Firey little bugger!' He grins in a friendly manner of the dwarf and stops laughing. "Now listen liitle buddy. I know that the jerk just insulted your race, but honestly - what do you care of the ramblings of a madman? Do the insults of a man really mean anything? No one likes the old poop head. Don't make a big fuss about it. Anyways - I thought that you were an ambassador - doesn't that mean you're good with people? Perhaps fighting with logic would be your stronghold instead of... Violence?" Benji again chuckles, amused at how if he had heard this advice, would reject it completely.

"Umm, well, you see... I'm not a very good ambassador."

He sighed.

"The truth is I'm the worst diplomat since Tarokai, My first six missions where failures, nearly started a war on My seventh, and My only successful one was a mission to Baltarok."

"Huh. What happened? And what happened in Baltarok that caused success?" Benji asks this with a serious tone of voice, but inside he was rolling on the floor laughing out loud. 'Not surprised, he probably attempted to bonk his fellow ambassadors on the head once they made a comment about his height!'

"Well the truth is that,in spite of prejudice, orcs have a great culture, old and strong,as do the dwarves of Titaan. Both of our lands therefore have a great deal of respect for each other."

"And you can laugh at Me if you wish, I deserve it." ()

Throlar smiled.

Tarn entered the Hall again. Being on the lush island of Nova Tertia and the culmination of a successful Quest had sparked the young raider's wanderlust and he had sailed around many of the surrounding islands for a while before coming back to the Hall. He spied several new Quests on the Questboard but was immediately drawn to one. Tarn signed his name against Quest#75: Falling Stars. The failure of his previous mission there and the fact that they had lost Jun had weighed heavily on him, and with a positive outing as a Raider in his last Quest he felt that he could take on this new challenge, and hopefully find the young Ji Pei safe and well.

He then sat down at a table, ordered a drink and looked around for any familiar faces.
