Benji nods, "Yes I quested once with Sorrow, we went to Charis - err, never mind. Anyways, where are you from?" Benji asks eagerly, anxious to change the subject from Charis.

"A mountain that is named in our language as Thot. Don't ask me where it is, I wouldn't be able to tell you. It's a large mountain, and pretty much all the Yetis live there. It's a snowy hell if you ask me."

"Let me see..." Sarge Counts with the fingers on one hand. "I've gathered ingredients for an alchemist's staff. Stalked a stalker. And recently stopped a few assassinations in the low Kingdoms. Or was it the high ones???... Nevermind. Ooh, and recently I have founded a knightly order with Alex and Brickington over there" Sarge points to the two "And this dwarf is our newest page. Say, you're a kinght... ish... now, aren't you? Interested?"

"Nah, I'm not one that likes to join any secret clubs or anything. Unless It's just another excuse for drinking, that is..."

Alexandre gets up and starts asking heroes, "Does anyone have an elemental gem I could have? I'd be willing to make a deal."

Benji returns to the marketplace, tired of annoying Fabian. He sits down orders a drink, and waits eagerly, hoping that he will be picked for one of the upcoming quests.

Haldor is once again in the hall, enjoying a drink. With very little to do these past days, the nord produces a shiny emerald from his pocket and begins playing with it.

"I might be able to lend you one. I am afraid that I am not able to sell any of my gems at the moment." Benji says to the black knight who was previously friendly to him.

"Merci, but I am in need of a gem permanently. Sorry. "

Alexandre's dark eyes catch a reflection of light, and looks up at the emerald. "Is...tha-at.. a... an emerald? Willing to trade for it?"

Come the next morning, two new notes have been added to the Quest Board.

Sarge turns to the board and notices he has been accepted and he is party leader. His face lights up.

He considers who he is with, and, not knowing them. He turns to Jeaux and Heckz;

"So you're my party eh? I like to know who I'm working with, and, I figure we've got a while before we have to leave so. I'm Sarge, now who the hell are you two? "

"This old thing? Yeah, it's an emerald, got it a while back after we took out Wren. Sure, I have no use for it. What's your price, lad?"

"Well, gems are worth 100 right? I only have 67, that's more than half, what you'd get from selling anything to a market. What do you say?"

Benji sees that he was accepted to the ji pei quest, and gladly runs up to find Tarn. When he finds him he slaps him on the back, grinning ear to ear. "Heya buddy! Looks like we'll be going together to fight some bandits!"

Thalion comes back to the Hall from his daydreaming walk and, noticing he was chosen for a Ji Pei quest, takes a moment to look at his fellow heroes. He recognized only two names... He looked around the crowded Hall, but is unable to see either Benji or Nagure.

(No matter, I'll greet them when we meet at the Ji Pei Palace...) he thought as he walked to the market to get some essentials.

[Rumble Strike]

Tarn looked down at the list of heroes chosen for the Ji Pei Quest. He was pleased to see that his and Tesni's names were there, and heartened that both Atramor and Benji were chosen too. Nagure and Thalion he did not know, although he had seen the Yeti around the Hall. You couldn't really not notice a Yeti.

"It is good to be Questing with you again so soon!" he said to Benji, although he was a little perturbed by the crocodile hat his friend was wearing. "Best stock up on potions, we do not appear to have a healer. Perhaps Haldor should have signed up."

Inside, he was worried about being chosen as Party Leader. He had been Party Leader in several Quests before, and knew Ella had faith in him for this mission, but he did not know if he was ready to lead a team again.

[CMP]

Atramor glanced from the board to Tarn after noticing both their names were under the notice. Tesni and Tarn were the only ones he'd met of the party.

"Hey, you'd be surprised what witches can do, mate," he remarked to the raider - their party leader, he was surprised to see. "I can heal plenty. But I s'pose some potions and such wouldn't hurt..."

[Rumble Strike]

"Apologies, Atramor. Of course you can heal, even if I do not remember it ever happening in Dastan." He grinned despite his concerns. "I am just a little pre-occupied by being named Party Leader. It has been a long time since I held such a mantle and since then I have what happened to Constance and Jun on my conscience."

[CMP]

"I'd've healed more if we weren't all constantly bein' beaten down by assassins," chuckled Atramor, pouring half a handful of chicken feed in front of McCafferey. "Well, that's why we're gonna go save him. And bein' the party leader ain't that bad once ya' get used to dishin' out orders. So tell me mate, what're we gonna be up against here?"

[Rumble Strike]

"I am sure we will be told more by Lady Shanxian, but the last time Heroica was involved we were helping Jun Ji Pei take back an ancient elemental pagoda that the Ji Pei had lost to a group of bandits collectively known as the 108 Stars of Destiny. We fought our way room by room, level by level. It was incredibly tough, and sappingly relentless combat against many different foes. Their powers and abilities were far greater than anything I have fought before or since. We managed to kill a number of them but we were unsuccessful in vanquishing all 108. The Heroica party were transported outside the pagoda when we were all knocked unconscious. When we came to, Jun was nowhere to be found. It appeared he was still in the pagoda on his own. The Lady Shanxian was understandably upset, and our failure has weighed on my shoulders ever since."

[CMP]

"Ah, I see. Well, we'll give those bastards enough of a beatin' to count twice, then, won't we?"

Tesni wandered into the hall and saw the announce quest parties. Spotting two familar names and faces she headed over.

"Hail! It looks like we will get a second stab at those bandits eh Tarn." Tesni grinned.

Tarn smiled at the Bezerker. "Aye Tesni, I am glad you are with us. I know just how much of a powerful and skilled fighter you are, it will be good to stand side by side once more."

[Cutcobra]

Heckz slowly turned to Sarge who interrupted his reading "Name's Heckz Brutenhal." Heckz bows "What the hell kind of name is Sarge?"
