William sees Quest 77.He decides to sign up for it even though he has Quested with the Lion Knights.

Elgar went up to the notice board but this time with a sheet of paper in his hand. It read:

Needlessly Large Rod (Non-Artifact Item, Curses a random enemy. Usable once per battle. Does not prevent free hits.), 60 gold

Dualis Scepters (WP: 8, Club/Staff, Dual-striking), 80 gold

Hide of The Regret (halves damage from undead; suitable for anyone, backwear), 70 gold

Zap-Tap Badge (Artefact, Accessory) Has a 1/2 chance to deal electric damage to an opponent who has dealt damage to a hero, equal to the heroes level.) 60 gold

Karie checks the notice board, and looks about the ad. She walks over to Mr. Gligin's table.

"Hey, I heard you're selling stuff. Mind if I browse?"

She browses his wares focusing on five items.

"I'll cut you a deal. 25 gold for the mask, and 10 gold for all the venom. You're still making a profit. Deal?"

[Jedi master Brick]

"You have a deal" Elgar hands over the mask and the 4 venom.

[Kintobor]

"Thank you, Mr. Gligin, and I hope your business venture goes well!"

Karie hands Elgar 35 gold, leaving her with 246 gold left. She picks up the four venoms and the Trickster's Mask of the Elf, and goes on her way.

She then leaves the hall, and back out to the market. Again.

Haldor notices a druid selling items over at a nearby table and heads off to investigate.

"Hey, mate. What you got here that could interest me?"

The nord notices a hefty double-edged sceptre resting amongst some other equipment.

"How much for this? 80 gold it reads on your note. You up for selling it?"

[Jedi master Brick]

"Yes, this is for sale if you want it, I don't have much use for it."

"Great, reckon something like this could come in handy. Here's eighty gold pieces to take it off your hands."

Haldor thanks the druid and goes off to find a chair on Karie's table, holding his new weapon up to his eyes as he walks. After finding himself a comfortable place to sit, the nord remembers that he had kept one of the lizard beast's claws in his satchel as a souvenir. Taking it out, he takes a quick look at the talon's dark black smoothness - it'd probably make a good weapon for someone.

Haldor calls out in a loud voice.

"Got myself a lovely Claw blade knife here. Small, sharp and agile, I imagine. Give a holler if you want it."

Haldor rolled his eyes.

"And who exactly are you, telling me what I do and don't know? I doubt you've ever even been to Vartland, let alone heard what tales we like to tell. Get out of my face."

"Well,I am a Dwarf who has heard at least every single Vartic saga from start to finish."

"I'm also an ambassador so watch out."

Haldor looked confused.

"Vartic? What're you talking about?"

Haldor looked confused.

"Vartic? What're you talking about?"

"Vartland is the name of the place isn't it? So the term would be Vartic.

"Excuse Me for a second."

Throlar strides over to the Quest Board and signs up for quest 77.

"Perhaps you ought to brush up on your ambassador skills, mate. If you don't even know the name for something from one of this world's most notorious lands, it might be worth reconsidering your career."

Arnulf started looking for Lord Boomingham, but had no luck finding him. It seemed he needed some piece of mind, so Arnulf aproached Scherezade "If you see lord Boomingham, could you tell him, Arnulf Bishop's looking for him. Appreciated" Arnulf looked around the hall and then sat down to finish his ale.

[Bricksandparts]

Johon signs up for quest 77, then realizes that Karie is in the hall. He starts walking over to her and notices she heads off to the market. Johon catches up to Karie and makes conversation.

"Hello again, Karie. Are you planning to sign up for the new quest? I was wondering if you would want to sign up as a team?"

[xxlrocka]

Drake carefully read the questboard, finally deciding to sign up for Quest #77 before sitting back down.

[Brickdoctor]

You see a cloaked figure enter the Hall and head straight for the Quest Board, clearly trying to avoid the eyes of the heroes there, black hood obscuring facial features.

"Hah! What's this?"

You glance around at the heroes in the Hall, wondering to what the figure was referring (you figure it was probably the inexperienced dwarf who signed up for an elven quest that specifically stated that elven heroes would be preferable), and when you turn back to look at the Quest Board, the figure is gone.

[Sandy]

"Ideally, elves..." Ellaria read from the Quest Board. "Hmm, I don't have pointy ears, but maybe the Brobric Elves would appreciate to have a druid at their disposal."

With that thought, Ellaria signed into Quest #77. The promise of gold was tempting as well, since her house was old and in disrepair, and her skills with the hammer were subpar.

Boomingham stumbles back into the Hall, clanging one of the front doors open and then slamming it closed behind him. His face looks splotchy and his eyes are milky. He walks over to the quest board, and, bracing himself by gripping the edge in a vice like hand, signs up for Quest 77. He then makes his way to the bar and sits down. Barty pops into existence next to him, but the duo seems to have uniformly adopted a quiet demeanor. They wait to be served, seemingly blind to the Hall and heroes surrounding them.

Ellaria sees Boomingham stagger upstairs, and follows him silently. When she catches up with him, she places her hand on his shoulder.

"Lawrence, is everything okay?" she asks with a worrying voice. Deep down she wishes that it isn't just one of the old paladin's hangovers.

Johon signs up for quest 77, then realizes that Karie is in the hall. He starts walking over to her and notices she heads off to the market. Johon catches up to Karie and makes conversation.

"Hello again, Karie. Are you planning to sign up for the new quest? I was wondering if you would want to sign up as a team?"

"Oh, hey Johan, sorry I didn't hear you, I had some shopping to do. I'm still on the fence on whether or not I want to join, although compared to every other non-elf, I do have somewhat of an advantage over them."

She holds up her newly acquired mask.

"I find it a little out of my style, at least for now. I had a... rather eventful quest just recently, yeah, and I'm looking for something a little low key."

Karie awkwardly looks about. Boomingham's lack of appearance in the hall after she had returned worried her. Lawrence the mighty paladin, potential slayer of witches. She felt that joining the Syndicate was the right decision, but at what cost?

Boomingham swivels carefully on the stool and clutches the counter. His breath alone betrays his drunkenness, but his eyes are different than what Ellaria is used to. Generally, drunk, he appears lively and with a loud voice. Now his voice is timid and his eyes can't seem to hold her gaze. He smiles tiredly, but even that seems forced.

"Ah, Ellaria dear, how are you?" he asks somberly. "I apologize for my-" he gulps at air, steadying himself- "appearance. I've had a rough couple of days. Simply getting myself back on my feet. How has Olegia been treating my favorite druid?"

[Bricksandparts]

"Ok, I think I know how you feel. I don't know exactly what happened, but I heard about some family tie. If you don't want to talk about it, I also totally understand." Johon perks up at hearing about the mask. "Oh, about that mask. I was planning to buy it from Elgar in my last quest, but it seems he sold it to you. I think it could come in handy in some of my quests, especially the new quest. Would you be willing to sell it for 50 gold?" Johon says taking out his money bag.

[Kintobor]

Karie perks up at the sound of Elgar's coin purse being removed.

"Wow that's a lot of money. Um, wow, I didn't expect this to be such a desirable item! Well... um... no, sorry Johon, I don't think I could sell it. Sorry. I just purchased it not even a few hours ago and I feel I can't just sell it off so soon. Look, I'm sorry, but not at the moment."

Karie felt slightly sorry for what she purchased. She hoped it wasn't a prearranged purchased they had agreed to.
