I simply couldn't find a spot for you on the quest without completely revamping the quest. I would however love to see you on another one of my quests in the future! No hard feelings, it's just it's hard shoving a level 1 into a group of level l0's and 20's.

Drake read the questboard. A quest which involved a plot to overthrow somebody? He hadn't done that kind of thing in years. He was pretty good at it, though. All that needed to be done was kill every henchman and guard sent out, and trick the certain somebody into leaving himself vulnerable for easy attack. With this in mind, Drake signed up for Quest #80.

Louis walks up to the questboard and puts his name down for Quest #80.

Karie wakes up from her nap and looks around the eerily quiet hall. After what happened two days ago, she had wondered what her adoptive family would say about her dating a vigilante who was the head of a secretive organization that carried out special tasks from the Town Watch which she was a member of. She felt famished and headed for the bar.

"Orange juice. And some eggs on toast too. Top that with bacon and sprinkle some pepper on it."

She wondered what Masson was up to. She did offer help if he needed it to move his lab equipment. Perhaps someone would come to let her know where he needed his stuff moved. Perhaps she'd be called to help with something serious. Keeping both jobs would be tricky. Thankfully Heroica was less demanding.

She noticed the new kid in the hall.

"Looks like fresh meat just wandered in." She says to herself. Her sandwich is placed in front of her at the bar.

"Hey, new guy! I want to have a word with you!"

Louis looked around, wondering who the woman was talking to. He decided to approach her.

" What do you want?"

[Kintobor]

Karie takes a bit into her sandwich and swallows before talking.

"I don't know. I'm bored, and I want someone to talk to."

She takes a drink of her orange juice before continuing.

"I see you've been hanging out with Johon. Trying to train you, is he?"

[posades]

Xander makes his way to the quest board, signing up for Quest #80 and returning to his resting spot just outside the hall.

"You could say that. He's been fighting me in the arena."

[Kintobor]

"Listen kid. You can train all you want, you can prepare yourself by purchasing all the consumables in the world, it doesn't make a difference. Nothing can prepare you for what's out there. Trust me, I should know."

She takes a bite out of her sandwich, the eggs yolk running down the sandwich and onto her plate. Despite her roguish appearance, she had to keep good manners.

"Now, then, why did you join Heroica?"

Mizuki scribbles her name for Quest#80 before walking to the bar and ordering some cake.

Karie finishes her sandwich as she looks over at the woman sitting down at the bar. The barmaid comes over with a slice of cake, and sets it down in front of her. Due to her lactose intolerance Karie never knew what certain things tasted like, such as cake and cheese. She began to stare at it's moist texture and icing.

[Captain Settle]

Louis considered the question for a moment.

"I came for a number of reasons. To become famous, to become rich, but mostly to quench my bloodthirst!"

Louis realized he sounded morbid and evil, and hurried to come up with something that would change the subject.

"Nice weather we've been having."

Not the best topic, but certainly better than the last.

Romulus strolls over to Karie and the new hero.

"Hello."

Drake looked up from the book he was reading to see a new guy. He looked fine, and handsome. Not as handsome as Drake was, mind you, but might as well be seeing he nearly had the same haircut as Drake. Different reasons for being there, however. Drake was in Heroica for vengeance and the cool stuff he found in Quests, the Louis kid being there to fulfill some kind of vampire-like thirst for blood. Yes, Drake was eavesdropping. No, he didn't care if it was wrong.

"This new guy's worth looking into. I'll be seeing him some day. Not today, but someday." Drake said that really quiet so he wouldn't hear.

Romulus over hears Drake muttering.

" Got something to say?"

Louis considered the question for a moment.

"Here for money, eh? Well you'll find that. Make an impression on some of the bigger heroes, and you'll be famous. As well, I assure you your longing for blood will be quenched in due time." Karie states dryly. He was rather off putting. She wondered if he was joking about the bloodshed or if he was a violent person.

Romulus strolls over to Karie and the new hero.

"Hello."

Karie takes a moment before speaking to Romulus, a sense of irritation in her voice.

"Hello Romulus. If you insist in taking a seat, you may do so next to the new kid."

Haldor yawns loudly and rises to his feet - it'd been a long time since he'd had someone of interest to talk to, and in the warm drowsiness of the hall there was little else to do besides. The nord strolls nonchalantly over towards the table occupied by Karie and some young lad that he didn't know, and made the others aware of his presence; ignoring the form of Romulus standing nearby.

"Well ain't this the nicest gathering? Mind if I join you lot? Karie, my lass, it's good to see you again. And you, kid, even though don't know who you are. This your first time inside these walls? Me, I'm always happy to welcome the newcomers. Name's Haldor; nord, fighter and mead-drinker extraordinaire." He grins jokingly. "Popular among the ladies too, mind."
