Benji laughs to himself "You always will be an offensive maniac, Sarge." :tongue:He slaps him on the back with his clawed paw and grins toothily.

"I think we can all agree on that; Sarge, the offensive maniac, NOW with healing capabilities!":grin: "Cant wait to see you in action Sarge... Speaking of which did anyone take a look if there is anything interesting on the quest board? I completely missed it on my way here..."

"Nothing there at the moment. I'd like to go into battle with you again."

Tesni returned from the room she had taken to sleep. It seemed her friends were busy and away. Sitting at a table she took out the Rebel's Dagger (WP: 5) and the Phoenix Dress (Max. Ether +5, full ether restored upon revival, immunity to fire and lightning, suitable only to female mages, clerics, chi monks, minstrels and necromancers; bodywear), items she was unsure she would need now or in the future, considering what to do with them.

Er, yes. I was around a while back, I fought for the Hinckwells and Lions in the elf-Lion war, among other things. I was absent from the hall for a while due to... personal reasons. Arasmyth didn't feel the need to mention that his reason was that he had been rotting in a grave in the Eubric Cemetery. Rumors of ghosts and grave robbers had discouraged him from stopping by to pick up his hat.

Hybros entered the Hall after several long nights. Or rather, the same night revisited four times. He tiredly walked over to the bar to order a glass of water, only slightly aware of the increased conspicuousness caused by his new red cloak. Overhearing some news about one of the veterans from Sczherade but ignoring it for now, the little imp pushed his way through the unusually large crowd present in the saloon. He found his favorite spot in the corner and looked around for some familiar faces, as well as the ones he had just quested with. There was business to take care of.

Maurice had waited some time now for a suitable quest to appear on the board and the second one that was posted this week got his attention.

He decided to sign up for Quest #82: Stop the Presses.

It seemed Hybros had come back to the Hall at the right time. New quests were being posted every day. He abandoned his post for a minute to sidle up to the quest board. As he signed his name under Quest #82: Stop the Presses, he spoke to the middle-aged human clad in white next to him. "Guarding so-called intellectuals is my specialty, heheheh."

"If you say so. I'm more used to saving countries and curing dragons myself, but I guess a simple guard job will do for now."

The raider walked into the hall, rested, if you could call it that. Clearly, the raider hadn't shaved in a while, as he was growing a thin, dark beard, as well as some short hairs on the top of his head. A few hours of sleep in his hammock had done him well. Still considering the practicality of installing a royally sized fourposter in the captain's cabin, the raider walked up to the questing board. Protecting someone. It seemed to be a theme these days. What had changed that the "heroes" had turned from dragonslayers into babysitters? Still, the raider was interested in the Masked Man, he might even be able to cash in that certificate... Guts signs up for Quest 82, by writing his HOLLA in clear letters on the paper. The raider walked upstairs, just in time to hear Maurice finish his statement.

"Hybros is more into killing dragons, other things, and good at, too, just don't give him a party to lead. And you can't honestly call our trip to Miranda that, the city was already fucked, all we did is kill the ones responsible."

"I'd like to think we saved a few people from being made to slaves under Haroka and Sorona at least. Those people are hopefully living a better life now, whether it's in a new Miranda or somewhere else."

"Yeah... Well... We should have been there earlier..." The raider stares at the ground for a few moments, and his eyes drift to Lifestealer, hanging from his belt. Then he says, in a different tone: "So... I'm thinking breakfast."

Spotting a familiar figures in the crowd Tesni stowed the dress once more, it was a lovely thing but really not for any of the rough warrior men who were about at the time. She did recall a few who might want it, knowing well that red was not Namyrra's colour she cast her mind back to a particular mage who seemed greatly fond of fireballs. With the dress safely back in her bag Tesni took to playing with the dagger.

Two new Quests on the Questboard. A year and the routine of the hall seemed to be the same- quiet and subdued during Quests, bustling with bartering .heroes after, and booming with hopeful prospective Questees whenever a batch was posted. Arasmyth idly wondered why the Questboard always seemed to be stocked in batches, with new Quests coming in groups with dry periods in between. Maybe people only needed help once every couple months or so. Either way, Quest 82 seemed quite simple and straightforward, perfect for easing back into the Heroing business, so Arasmyth quickly penned his name down for Quest #82: Stop the Presses.

Atramor glanced up at the sudden rush of activity surrounding the Quest board, and shrugged, making a mental note to go take a look at it once things had simmered down. All of those returning were familiar faces, but at the moment he was content with himself and a drink.

Having completed her ritual bathe in rose scented waters in the bath house, and feeling relaxed and refreshed as a result, Nyx returns to the Hall, already thinking about food and drink. As she opens the doors she hears the familiar bustle and noise and she feels.. home. Her eyes scan the room, noting where some familiar faces were, and spotting Hybros in particular.

First things first, though, as she picks up a Flaming Gumball and a large hunk of Scheherezade's homemade cake. It tasted nice enough, although its consistency meant it could probably be used as a deadly missile. In possession of her victuals, she winds her way through the mess of chairs and tables to reach Hybros at the questboard.

"Hello there little Hybros the Deadly." she grins and winks "I believe we need to do a bit of swapping around of bits and bobs, but first.." Nyx reaches into her bag "I asked him if he had one, and guess what? He did!"

Nyx produces the Cloak of the Blue Assassin from her bag with a flourish "I don't think it's as nice as the red one, but you seem to be collecting them now and blue really isn't my colour, more red and black really, and I can't even use it anyway so I thought.... you'd like it" and she offers the blue material to Hybros, smiling expectantly. "Take it. It's yours."

Maurice looked down and saw some weird short grown creature.

"If you say so. I'm more used to saving countries and curing dragons myself, but I guess a simple guard job will do for now."

"Anything to get out of the Hall again, I suppose... eheh. Even for a noble Paladin like you. Have you ever met the hero Tarn? I think you two would make a perfect match, heheheh." Hybros rolled his eyes slightly at his sarcasm. The memories of the stubborn barbarian still stuck out in his head.

"Hybros is more into killing dragons, other things, and good at, too, just don't give him a party to lead. And you can't honestly call our trip to Miranda that, the city was already ducked, all we did is kill the ones responsible."

Hybros scooted to the side to let Guts sign his name. His eyes narrowed at the raider's insult, despite the compliments that came with it. "Not all of us wish to be King, hehehehehe...."

Hybros brightened up a little at Nyx's appearance. "Hello again Nyx." He took the Cloak carefully from the Mage, surprised to see an azure copy of the cloak he wore. "...eh, um, thanks!...I suppose if the Reds have little to offer after all, there are others to fall back to, heheh." He stowed the cloak for now, but felt in his pouch for something else. "Ehem, yes, and do not forget about the reward. Here." He handed over 400 88 gold and a Mythril Shard, but tugged a little before letting go of the latter. "Eheh... if you do not want this... I have the gold..." He glanced to the floor, as usual.

"Indeed, too long have I sat here. Time to do some work. I don't believe I've had the pleasure to meet this Tarn you speak of, but there are so many heroes running around at this place so I might just have forgot him."

The raider, just getting a large plate filled with different sorts of exotic fruit, saw Hybros handing out loot to Nyx. Guts cleared his throat audibly.

"Yes sire" Hybros handed over 50 gold and the Mythril Shard. "The same offer applies to you. 150 gold for the Shard."

"Indeed, too long have I sat here. Time to do some work. I don't believe I've had the pleasure to meet this Tarn you speak of, but there are so many heroes running around at this place so I might just have forgot him."

"Hm. Well in the meantime, I am Hybros." He tipped his hat slightly.

OOC: Please note that I corrected the amount of gold given to Nyx from 400 to 88 in the previous post. Forgot I already divided some of the gold from the last battle.
