Guts raised an eyebrow at Hybros."...Thanks... I'll take you up on that offer, got enough of the stuff to serve my own needs."

Nyx pockets the 88 gold so quickly it barely flashes, grinning at Hybros. She picked up on the shy imp's unwillingness to let go of the Mythril. Having never seen any before, she turns the substance over in her hand, examining it, an expression of curiosity dawning on her face.

"Sweet little Hybros, I don't think I'll ever be able to accumulate enough of these to make use of this shard. I'd certainly be willing to part with it to you for some more gold, thank you, yes."

and with that she holds the Mythril in her open palm, offering it back to Hybros.

Guts raised an eyebrow at Hybros."...Thanks... I'll take you up on that offer, got enough of the stuff to serve my own needs."

"Of course you do, hehe. Here." Recalling that he sold Guts one of his own pieces about a year ago, he handed over 150 gold for the Mythril Shard.

"Sweet little Hybros, I don't think I'll ever be able to accumulate enough of these to make use of this shard. I'd certainly be willing to part with it to you for some more gold, thank you, yes."

and with that she holds the Mythril in her open palm, offering it back to Hybros.

"Thank you." He took the shard with a nod and handed over another 462 gold. "Extra. I miscalculated our reward before, heheh."

Tarn looked up. Despite the hubbub of the Hall, which was slowly filling up with heroes once again, he thought he heard his name mentioned.

Hybros spotted Tarn as he raised his head, which had the Noble Mask attached to it. He hobbled over and sat next to the barbarian. "Long time no see, noble Tarn, hehe. I hope, for both our sake, that your most recent travels were more successful than our last together."

Alone at her table, Tesni pocketed the dagger and decided to join Tarn and Hybros. She took up a drink and a pie before she sat. "Ave friends."

[Pandora]

Nyx sees Guts standing near to her and turns to him.

"It was a pleasure, old man." she says simply, handing back his Scroll of Weakening."Maybe we'll do it again sometime." A brief nod of almost respect, and she moves to follow Hybros to the table.

"Hybros, sorry, I forgot to give you these." Nyx hands Hybros the Spinning Bolas she took from the Blue Assassin's corpse. "Hello Tarn!" she greets her old friend smiling widely, and turns to Tesni as she sits "And.. I think we've spoken, haven't we? You're from the North, somewhere, right? Tensy... Tessin? Something like that? Well, hello again, nice blades you've got there. Nyx, in case you've forgotten." indicating herself and she smiles and continues nibbling at the substantial cake.

[Rumble Strike]

"Hybros! Nice to see you again. You will be pleased to know that Tesni and I went back out to Xu along with several other fine heroes, and this time we defeated the remaining 108 Stars of Destiny! We took on around 26 in one huge battle. Luckily we had Atramor with us and his plans got us through the battle. Then we took on the Constellation, the inner circle of the bandits, who were secretly trying to overthrow the aoi. We found Jun as a prisoner, killed the Constellation and got Jun back to his mother. All in all, a very successful Quest. Tesni got the Qu'lan Blade, with the kill of the leader."

"Tesni my friend, from the high moutains to the north." She inclined her head slightly. "Are you the one who likes the flaming drinks? More of a beer drinker myself." Tesni chuckled, "And thanks, the blades are my favoured weapon in battle. Though I do have some things that are not much help to me."

[Pandora]

Nyx laughs at the drinks comment "Tesni.. yes, yes, sorry, I'm not that great at names, I hope I haven't offended you. And I do love a drink and I also love setting things on fire. These Flaming Gumballs are therefore the perfect combination, and they taste really fruity and sweet, too."

Nyx raises her glass by way of a salute to Tesni and drinks before continuing "I know what you mean about other stuff too, I picked up this little dagger which is more useful for Rogues I think; I'm more of a "blow the bastard to pieces" kinda girl." she grins at Tesni "So I should put a sign up to sell it, or else try to get Anwyl to take it off my hands." she leans back in her chair, stretching "But not right now, I need a few drinks first, and I still need to sort out some exchanges with my most recent questmates."

"Mm, thank you. These should be useful." He took the Bolas.

More than a little disappointed that journey had come and gone without him or even his knowledge of it, he bowed his head. "...I wish I could have been there..." A chance to redeem himsefl for the previous failure... he at least hoped that Daneeka's recommendation would carry some weight with it. A few more moments of silence followed before he raised his head. "I hope you have spared none, no doubt that orc slave turned on his word and gave you trouble there again, am I right? Heheheh, I hope you have learned your lesson there, Noble Tarn."

[Rumble Strike]

It would have been nice to reattempt the Quest with the same group, especially with your prowess at assassination, but the heroes that signed up all did magnificently."

[CMP]

"Damn right we did," agreed and interjected Atramor, pulling a seat up to the table, drink still in hand. Ordinarily this wasn't his style, but he knew each hero sitting there well enough. "And how was this party, mates? Must've been good, ya' look like ya' had enemies bleedin' all over ya'," he chuckled, waving a hand at Hybros' vivid red clothing.

Hybros nodded to Atramor. "How is the demon? I feel that I could kill him in one swift strike now, hehehe. But this cloak, ehem, top secret, heheh. The party... well, you can not quite trust anyone it seems. Sometimes not even your own questmates..." Hybros looked worriedly to Guts at the quest board, and then slightly to Nyx at the table.

[CMP]

Atramor glanced over his shoulder, at the (currently dim) blue end of the Pheles Rod, then turned back to Hybros, swallowing some more rum.

"More useful than I thought...ironic, since its main purpose is to get me killed. And I know that feelin' pretty damn well. That's why I try not to trust anyone anyway. Where I come from it's just the fastest way to a knife in your back."

"Mm..." Hybros pondered the nature of Mephistopheles for a moment. He coughed a little, regained his posture, and replied. "Get you killed, yes... very familiar. Ehem... where are you from anyway?"

[CMP]

"Edge of Dreida Bay. One of the nameless shanty towns that probably ain't there anymore. 'Pirate haven' is closer to the mark, though. You?"

[Pandora]

Nyx sees the scruffy Witch approach the table and feels surprised to be pleased to see him. She hated to admit to herself that she'd missed him, but she had.

"Atters! Come and join us! We can get some proper drinking done now, we just need Larry and for Guts to get his big behind over here." she grins at Atramor "The party was a little dry; not enough booze, food, dancing, music or flirting for my liking. But we did get to kill a few people, so it wasn't all bad. Guffington's a nice man, and he's very rich, and he has a nice house, and there were some interesting people there. I take it you know Tesni, and I know you know Tarn."

Nyx catches Hybros's sideways look at her along with his comment. "Hybros, do you really think I'd stab you in the back? Really? Hell no, I'd blow you up if I was gonna do anything like that, and I make my feelings quite plain. If I wanted you dead or didn't like you, you'd know about it. Oh, and by the way, I forgot about the gold I lifted from Watters, so here's 125 gold for you. I need to give the same to Guts and Docken, but Guts is glued to that board, and Docken hasn't even showed up yet. Plus Docken has some stuff for me, I believe."

[Scubacarrot]

Guts came back from his short trip to the marketplace, went up to the tables, and sat down, slicing a piece off of a weird looking purple fruit from his plate, and eating it. Nodding to the other people there, Guts sat down. "Valco, Gibbin. Good to see you're still alive."

[Peppermint_M]

"So you are the mage who likes fire! I think I may have something that would interested you." Tesni took the phoenix dress from her bag. "I picked this up on my latest quest but I have little use for it."

[CMP]

"Don't imagine parties with rich folk bein' very good. Ya' haven't been to a real one unless there's at least a dozen wasted, dirt-poor pirates there."

Atramor nods back at Nyx, and takes a sip of rum before scratching his chin.

"Though they're generally a little more violent when that's the case. Guess that's half the fun of it, though."

The witch shrugged, pulling some chicken feed out of his cloak and pouring a handful of it on the table. McCafferey fluttered down from the rafters a moment later to peck at it idly. He looked up as Guts took a seat, and gave the aging raider a nod and a slight grin.

"Aye. Either of us seem like the type to die that easily?"

[Scubacarrot]

"Aye. Either of us seem like the type to die that easily?"

The raider grinned back.

"You look like Mercutio and Neron had a fight about who could pull you out of the ocean first, You'll be fine. You're gonna die when you've lived to a hundred. Valco however... you know how they say the good die young?"

[Rumble Strike]

"That's right Guts, it's a miracle I have survived this long!" answered Tarn with a smile.

[CMP]

Atramor chuckled.

"I'd say that if I survive it's because of me, not because of the gods, but I'll admit I do seem to have lived longer than I woulda' thought considern' how much crap I tend to get into."

McCafferey bawked loudly. The witch knew it wasn't meaningless, but paid it no mind.

"Ah, the three of us are at least a little Roguish, we'll live long enough s'long as we know there's a bit of coin to be made or drinks to be downed the next day."

[Rumble Strike]

"Or love to find..." said the young Raider wistfully. "I miss Ella, Atramor. And she was absolutely correct about us rescuing Jun, wasn't she?"

[Brickdoctor]

I return to the Hall, noticing something...off. As if I was in a different dimension than when I left, and different even from the dimensions I might have been in during parts of the quest.

I look around to find Hybros, Nyx, and Guts.

"Master Holla, I believe you wanted this:"

I hand the Growshroom Cap to Guts.

"And Miss Nyx, these are yours:"

I set the Chef's Apron, Doomshroom Cap, Oneupshroom Cap, Mead, Smelling Salts, Nostrum, and one Phoenix Essence on the table in front of Nyx.

[CMP]

"That she was, mate, assumin' that's what she referred to." Atramor polished off his drink, leaving the empty bottle on the table. "Maybe ya' should pay her a visit onna these days."
