Palathadric Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Guts tosses over a cloth bag containing 200 gold, grabbing the stone. I pick up the bag and feel the weight in my hand, bringing out a scale from my cart I weigh it carefully. "There seems to be 50 missing. Trying to rip me off are you, barbarian?" Quote

Palathadric Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 (edited) Damn, he's annoying "Well, I don't usually give your kind charity..." I struggle within me. Sometimes words fail me when I argue for something I know is not mine by rights. "...but you may as well have it. You could use the extra fifty to get yourself a meal. Perhaps something better than what an orc would serve you." Edited October 17, 2013 by Palathadric Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Noting the Fields Quest, Sylph stood from his chair. The old chair creaked like a branch on the even everlasting wind. Silently, the cloaked and rag-laden form of Sylph Solanum swept towards the sign-ups. "The Fields of Glory." He stated. "There is nothing glorious in the activities that take-place therein. Only senseless suffering, and reason-less death. Those souls who enter do not return as clean... But it is my curse to be forever sullied in the blackest filth, and Therefore I too shall enter. If it benefit my greater purpose, I would enter a thousand times more!" And with that evocation, the Druid withdrew a black quill from his sack, and embellished his name in wet ink on the parchment, like black blood. "Nature, you are a forgiving goddess.... And that is the worst of all your virtues." Sylph Solanum Quote

Bricksandparts Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Johon concentrates on the topaz, trying to imagine flash of litghtning hurling towards the knight, but nothing follows. He looks at the Topaz, shakes it and tries again. Nothing. Giving up, Johon puts the topaz away, and looks back at Nur. "I don't know what I'm doing wrong" Johon says, shrugging. As he does so, the sword of Decay slightly gravitates towards his fist. Quote

Skrall spied a note on the board but couldn't determine who had wrote it. The ogre raised his voice slightly, "Someone lookin' for a Topaz?" A massive rock of a person gets up and begins asking about a Topaz. I remain somewhat rooted to the spot, eyes transfixed on the terror. How I did not notice him before is a mystery. The ogre raised his voice slightly, "Someone lookin' for a Topaz?" Thalion heard the ogre's question and twitched out of his meditation, looking for the person who uttered the words. When he realized who it was, he stood up, and walked slowly towards the ogre. He bowed as he greeted the hero. "Greetings master ogre! My name is Thalion Dwinals, and I am looking for one. Do you have one for sale or trade?" Edited October 17, 2013 by -obelix- Quote

'Tis unfortunate that you are not on our party to the Fields of Glory. We could have used someone such as yourself. Knight, am I right? Fine shield there. Benji dangles the Medal temptingly in front of Pretzel's face. "How about this. Since you are a... holy... man, I will let you pay only a trivial price to borrow the medal. I suggest 18 gold per battle, with 18 gold paid up front. If you do not return the medal... you'll suffer a painful death. I've spent much blood, sweat and gold on that thing." Quote
