A peculiar creature in a peculiar hat skittles across the Hall on all fours to post something on the Quest Board.

Alexis wanders into the hall, wonder what she needs to do with her life. She notices the new quest and puts her name down for for Quest #87. She meanders upstairs to the bar, grabs a drink and sits down.

Skrall listens to the raider's comment on the new quest, "Guess they're goin' to need someone to look after 'em." Skrall resigned his name to Quest 86: Gaiden.

"Money, mostly. Had to pay the bills somehow and like it or not, it ain't exactly easy for a greenskin to get any sort of respectable job in this city." Skrall sipped at his ale. "Over the years things have changed a bit. The money's still good, but I've got a few mates to look after now at least. The witch Wren and the thought of seein' her to her grave kept me busy for a couple of months, but now that that deed's been done, I've found myself more willin' just to let life come to me than to go chasin' after it."

"I can understand that, the story similar to half of the seasoned heroes, with the other half being the ones who still seek adventure like when they first started." Thalion chuckled. "Speaking of which, I should check if there anything interesting on the quest board... And I think I heard someone mention that Elphaba is back in town... If that is true I should pay her a visit too..."

On his way to the Market, Thalion signs up for Quest #87: The Marketplace Mystery.

Avalanche sees the new quest on the board. "Might as well," he says to himself. He signs up for Quest #87: The Marketplace Mystery

Karie watches a surge of heroes get up and rush out of the hall, as if some deadly plague had been thrown into the hall.

"Might as well see what the fuss is about."

Karie moves out of the hall and back into the streets.

Johon crosses his name out of quest 86 and signs up for quest 87.

[The Legonater]

Dyric walks into the hall. Seeing already new quests were up, he moved to sign up for Quest 87.

After this, he found his old friend Skrall - hardly someone easy to miss - and waved as he approached the ogre.

Skrall! How've you been? It's been a while.

[Waterbrick Down]

Skrall motioned for Dyric to sit down, "That it has, Dyric. I was in the fields fer a spell and saw quite a bit of action now I'm relaxin' a bit before gettin' ready to head out. You?"

[K-Nut]

Althior crosses his name from Quest #86 and lists his name under Quest #87. Deductive skills needed? He had to be perfect for this job.

Hoke signs up for Quest #87.

[Vash the Stampede]

Dreyrugr glances at the quest board.

Great deductive skills needed, wonder if this will be anything like Brendeton or that Rorik mystery. Dammit, that still annoys me.

Dreyrugr crosses his name off Quest 86 and signs up for Quest #87 The Market Place Mystery.

[Endgame]

Octavyn studies the boards carefully, raising an eyebrow at the almost literal line of heroes slashing their names off of the quest list.

"Erm. Well, okay then. Let's see... That ogre seems like a plenty capable gentleman, and that Baradock struck me as a reliable person... if not a bit quiet. And Karie is a member of our organization, so..."

Octavyn takes out a quill, scrawling a notice on the quest board:

Chosen Heroes for Quest #86: Gaiden

-Skrall (Waterbrickdown)

-Baradock (Cryos)

-Karie (Kintobor)

Report to Storefront Avenue for your assignment, come sunrise. I'll meet you there!

With that, the gold clad admin whirls on his heel and returns to his base at long last.

Karie wanders back into the hall for a short second, quickly putting her hood on once she notices Dyric in the room. She patrols up the steps and to the bar, where she returns to the table with Johon and Purpearl.

"Hey, I gotta get a good night sleep before all this starts, so I thought I'd leave you, Purpear,l with something if you're interested."

She unwraps a large topaz from her bag, covered by cloth and shiny to boot.

"It's not much, but I'll give it to you, if you want it? I wouldn't mind even chipping in some money so you can get yourself an amethyst if you're interested, say, 25 gold? I gotta hurry though, so make up your mind quickly."

Benji Carvenhall signs up for Quest #87.

"Now this... Looks interesting."

Guts strolls over to the Questing Board, and signs up for Quest 87 with the usual HOLLA in big angry letters.

[Purpearljellyblob]

Purpearl gets up from her stool and signs up for Quest #87: The Marketplace Mystery.

"Thanks Karie for the kind offer! I will gladly accept your topaz and 25 gold. Your kindness will not be forgotten."

Purpearl winks at Karie and sees Johon nearby.

"I don't think we've met before, I am Purpearl."

[Dragonfire]

Avalanche sighs, rather disappointed at not being chosen for the quest. He heads back to the table.

[Bricksandparts]

"I am Johon, pleased to meet you." Johon says shaking hands. "Are you signed up for the quest at the marketplace?"

[Dragonfire]

"Hi," greets Avalanche as he joins Purpearl and Johon at the table. "Are you signed up for the quest? I am."

[Kintobor]

"Then they're yours."

Karie tosses the items to Purpearl, and with a gesture with her hand, she leaves the hall, looking at the expanding list of heroes signing up for the quest in the marketplace.

OOC: Don't forget to update your inventory with the addition of the topaz and the 25 gold.

[Cryos]

Baradock walks back from the marketplace. Seeing a swarm of hero's crowding the quest board. He pushes himself to the front to see what it was all about. There he sees a long list of names for the new quest. But also sees his own chosen to go on Gaiden. He slings his halberd across his back and exits the hall.

[Endgame]

Octavyn exits the hall at long last. As he steps out of the hall, he turns bak to the three heroes and calls:

"Well, I'll be seeing you folks tomorrow morning! hopefully we can reach the bottom of this case."

The gold-clad man's attention turns to his employee.

"Oh, and anonymous peon? If you hear about that special someone's night out with the bossman, be sure to tell me about it tomorrow."

With a chuckle, he puts his hands in his pockets and walks into Eubric, the afternoon sun setting into the horizon.
