Bricksandparts Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 "Yes", Johon replies. "I wonder what is the case. I think I'm pretty good at solving things like this, hopefully I'll get picked. But... hopefully that detective will learn more about his job, otherwise he's not liable to keep it." Quote
Dragonfire Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Avalanche nods. "I agree. My friends back in the north said I had a natural aptitude for solving mysteries- and my previous quest was all about a murder mystery. I wonder if Elphaba and the other stallholders will appear in the quest?" Quote
Bricksandparts Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 "Mhm. I wonder where exactly we will be looking fo clues, if there are any... I also don't know how he is so sure we will not be in battles." Quote
Dragonfire Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 "Maybe he can predict the future. Or maybe the culprits are long gone and we won't need to fight- only to deduct?" Quote
Cutcobra Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Heckz enters the hall and sits on a chair. After a while of looking at the mirror and checking for lice in his hair because of the yeti, Heckz got up and went near the hall. Detuctive skills? Well I did just help solve a crime. Heckz signs up for Quest #87. Quote
Kintobor Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Karie opens the door to her flat, taking her hood and belt off and tossing it down on the bed. She looked about for Hershey as she kicked her boots off, not realizing someone else was in her house. "You're cats... rather inquisitive." Karie quickly began putting her clothes as she realized Masson had managed to get into her house, somehow. "What is with you guys and breaking into my house! The cleric, and now you?" Masson begins to blush, looking down sheepishly. "Oh... sorry, um... is this a-" "Bad time. No, actually, this is a good time. I had a crummy day." Masson looks relieved as he walks closer to her, looking dapper in his tie and vest. "I thought you'd show in purple." "I actually don't like purple." "Oh. I see. Sorry." The two sort of awkwardly loaf about before Masson coughs. "Um, Karie? I managed to get use both tickets to go see an opera," Karie's eyes light up like a Grogmas tree as Masson reveals his date plans, "and I was wondering if, for a date, you'd go with me to go see the Dream Oath?" "Masson, I'd love to. That's so considerate of you. I honestly adore the Dream Oath Opera." "You've... seen it before?" "When I was younger. Maxwell took me to see it with my sister when we were young. It... honestly was one of the few things I remember from my childhood." Karie begins to hum bits of the overture as she slowly goes into a rhythm, holding her hands out. "Um... Karie? What are you doing?" "Shall we dance, Masson?" She says in a slightly overdramatic voice. "I've, um... never really danced that much to be honest with you." "Then there's a first for everything. First, put your arm on my waist." "On your... where?" Masson, attempts to keep his cool as Karie helps position him properly. The two spend the next few hours clumsily waltzing about Karie's apartment. Masson was flush red from beginning to end. --- Meanwhile, down at the docks a small coastal boat coms into Eubric Docks, the paint sporting company colours. Samuel Shawe walks across the hastily placed gangplank and onto the boat where a young woman and man wait in the cold. "Shawe, I heard you have some merchandise you needed sailed off to Luosh, which is fine, but perhaps you should tell me what the meaning behind dragging me and my daughter out to Eubric from our visit of the Northern Free Isles?" "Father, I know you were content with Luosh, but you know how much I've wanted to see the city, lighten up! It'll be fun!" "I'm sorry you feel it as that sir, but I wouldn't drag the owner of one of our most trusted contract companies unless it was important." He hands the aging man a sealed envelope with a bat insignia sealing the back of the letter. The eye patched man flips the letter over and frowns. The young woman gasps, covering her mouth in a state of shock. "Is this some kind of sick, twisted joke, Samuel?" "No, no, Maxwell. She demanded that if she were to reserve reputation with our company, you deliver it to her yourself sir. I saw her with my own two eyes, Alderflask, she's in this city, right now as we speak." "Then what in the name of Ennoc are we waiting for?" Quote

Endgame Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I pen my name under Quest 87. "It can't hurt..." I mumble, returning back to my seat. Quote
Cutcobra Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Heckz enters the hall singing a song quietly. "My hair brings all the ladies to the courtyard and they are like 'It's perfect!' and they are like 'It's so beautiful!'. I could teach you, but my hair is MINE." He gets close to the table where the yeti, Purpearl and another person he didn't know where sitting at. He took a liking into Avalanche once he found out he had no lice. "Hello Avalanche," He looks at Purpearl and winks at her "Purpearl." He looks at Johon and introduces himself. "Greetings, Heckz Brutenhal." Heckz raises his hand to shake Johon's one "At your service if you don't touch my hair." Quote
Purpearljellyblob Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Purpearl looks around the Hall, her hand placed deep into her sling bag. She momentarily loses herself in deep thought after turning to have a look at the quest board. Purpearl secretly whips out her light green bottle under her dress and takes a big mouthful from it before rejoining the group. She notices Heckz' hair and smiles, "I think someone just upped a class in looks and is looking more handsome than before!" Quote
Cutcobra Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 "At last, someone sane enough in this hall to notice my amazing looks." Heckz smiled at Purpearl. "And I also think someone upped a class in... um ... in hair that is not as good as mine!" Heckz orders a drink and stokes his own beautiful hair. "So, Purpearl, you didn't talk much about yourself in our last quest. Tell me, what made you join Heroica?" Quote
Purpearljellyblob Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 (edited) Purpearl paused for a moment before placing her wand on the table, " I was sent away before my parents were killed, or that's what my foster parents told me. So, I am here to find out the truth about my past." Edited November 5, 2013 by Purpearljellyblob Quote
Dragonfire Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 (edited) Avalanche smiles, "Hi, Heckz. See you've gone up in the world. Sorcerer, eh? Wish I could advance classes, but no, I've a long way to go..." Edited November 5, 2013 by Dragonfire Quote
Sandy Posted November 6, 2013 Author Posted November 6, 2013 ~Three new quests have been posted on the Quest Board (#88 by Zepher, #89 by CallMePie & #90 by Waterbrick Down)! Note the long sign-up time!~ Quote
Cutcobra Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 "I had fun with you in my last quest Avalanche. Well at least the last part. When I met you I was scared to death that you might have some... parasites... but I now know you don't, luckily." Heckz notices three new quests on the questboard. He turns to the yeti. "Maybe we can both sign up for one of these new quests, #90 sounds fun." Quote

"I always wanted to go back north. Champion of the Northern Kingdoms...I like that! Though Quest 89 sounds even better!" Quote
Cutcobra Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Avalanche scratches his name out from the Quest#87: The Marketplace Mystery sign-ups, and signs up for Quest#88: Fathers and Sons, and Quest#89: Reclaiming Glory. "I always wanted to go back north. Champion of the Northern Kingdoms...I like that! Though Quest 89 sounds even better!" "Just my opinion, you don't look very Orc-Kin to me." Heckz signs up for quest #90. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Johon removes his name from quest 87 and then signs up for quest 88, 89, and 90. He then continues to discuss with Avalanche. "Would you want to practice in combat or other skills? Perhaps you know some tactics that even I do not know." Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 "Why on Olegia are you still here? Your Quest can't of finished already - I've only been gone two days!" "I was not the taking for Quest note, a worser news: The Witch was!" "Oh, don't talk to me about Witches... I've just got back from 48 hours with Atramor's apprentice. Couple that with feuding businessmen, sword manic alchemists and -" Thothwick takes off his boots, sighing with relief as he did "- blisters, and it makes for a semi-decent excuse for a beverage. To the saloon!" Quote
The Legonater Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Dyric took note of the three new quests, and frowned. Three quests, at the same time, at the same location. The mirrors to Dastan were eerie. He hadn't been there, but he had heard the stories. He had seen the affect on people. Yet that in itself bothered Dyric, as it often had. He had never been there, never fought alongside his friends on that soil, never been on that soil. Sure he had good reasons for staying behind. Sure his defiance in not going led him to first meeting his brother Arthur. Sure staying behind had led him on the quest that changed his life, that shaped him into the Assassin he was. But that didn't remove the guilt. These quests were in the High Kingdoms. Of course, Dyric knew the area well. He could be a vital asset on the missions. He would not pass down the chance to make up for his absence at Dastan. Dyric Rone crosses his name off 87 and signs up for 88, 89 and 90. Dyric then moved upstairs to join Thothwick. It's happening again. Quote
Dragonfire Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 "Just my opinion, you don't look very Orc-Kin to me." Heckz signs up for quest #90. "Yeah, but a quest with orcs will be interesting," Avalanche replies. He then turns to Johon, "That's fine with me, although I'm sure you'd beat me easily." Quote
Scubacarrot Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Guts noticed Thotwick back, he walked up to the metasimian, and asked: "So how did it go with Byblos?" Quote
Flare Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Benji decides to also sign up for Quest #89 in case he wasn't chosen for the other quest he had signed up for. He wandered glumly around the hall, none of his friends were around and he wasn't feeling friendly enough to make new acquaintences. The whole animal-transform business had taken a toll on Benji's happiness, he no longer was content with himself in any form. He wished he only could be back to how he was before... Quote
Purpearljellyblob Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 The Hall seems to be bustling with activity after the arrival of new quest requests. Chatter soon fills up the Hall and Purpearl hears a few conversations murmuring around. She wonders if she is hearing things. Perhaps her brain is just itchy and craving for a scratch. Perhaps they are really just part of her imagination. Not sure what to do next, Purpearl removes her name from Quest #87. Quote
