Althior strode back into the Great Halls of Heroica with a triumphant smile on his face. Before he went back up to the saloon to tell of his great achievments, he signed up for both quests 4 and 5. He wondered where the Bacari fellow had gone. Never the less, he went up to the saloon hoping to find Cronk and the Ranger Docken.

Returning to the bar, Hybros noticed a small figure, similar in appearance to himself. Could it be someone like himself? No, impossible. He hadn't seen another imp since...

"Hello there", Hybros said to the little Rogue. "I hear your name is De'Kras. My name is Hybros, why don't you tell me a little bit about yourself?

De'kra turned to face the vertern rogue, his face unreadable. The shade sighed as it looked at Hybros, though there was no malice in it's voice. "I not know...tongue," clicked De'kra, "I not know...I. I mind not-full. Mind full one year, last year. Not one year old, mind missing. Not-missing I island shore. Help...hermit...not-miss chicken. Hermit send I here and chicken talon. I not know more." The shade tilted his head, wondering if the similarly dressed imp would know De'kra's past.

Hybros looked at the shade, a bit puzzled. Hybros hadn't used or known his old language since his arrival on the surface world, and even then he couldn't have remembered it. He wondered if this little creature would understand it if he did, though.

"It almost sounds like you've lost your memory", Hybros said to De'kra. "I know how that feels, to not know any of your past...". Hybros noted how young the shade looked, and wondered where he came from. "Do you remember how got here, to Eubrick Freeport?".

Comprehending De'kras' words more after he spoke, he realized what he was saying. "A hermit, you say, sent you here? He was wise to do so. Do you remember where he was?".

Um.. maybe because he was poisoning cows and shot a crossbow at me?

And it's not like I killed him, he just ran away. Probably going to turn into a pirate of some sort.

Cronk still think it mean. Knights have code of honor. Cronk wishes Ranger Bacari well, wherever Ranger Bacari may be. That all Cronk will say about that.

De'kra nodded, his fiery eyes looking closely at the other rogue. "I first not-miss I East Southeast shore," clicked the shade, "Follow map here. First hut of many huts I see Two-Headed-Chicken. Heroes here there. Heroes help villagers?" De'kra seemed a little more confident in his speech, though he had a distinct accent.

Alexis walks into the hall noticing how many more heroes there are here now than before she left for her quest.

She also see that there are two new quests on the board and decides to put her name down for both.

"I'm not sure if the Shadeaux will hire me after what we've done though," she thinks to herself.

Pulls a chair up to Jess's table.

"How did your quest go? We somehow managed to complete ours successfully."

"How did your quest go? We somehow managed to complete ours successfully."

"Well, surprisingly enough. After that scarecrow, I thought we were done for sure..."

Jess launched into her story, finishing it some ten minutes later.

"Oh, and I upgraded Blohdhurm! Lookit!" Jess unsheathed Blohdhurm, and laid it on the table again. "That Anwyl is simply a genius in his craft."

"Well it sounds like your team had a successful quest too! Good work!"

Alexis tells her tale.

"Yeah I thought we wouldn't get past Umbra."

"Oh yes he does great work. I got a Mockthril Longbow from him." She gets the bow and places it on the table. "What do you think?"

"Ah, I see", replied Hybros. "Yes, we so-called heroes that reside here sign up for quests to help those in need. We're something of an anchor among all of this chaos with the seven houses constantly fighting, and the outside world doing who-knows-what. I suppose it would be a good environment for you, with current condition. I hope that you realize your past while completing quests here".

Poor little fellow...

Althior arrived at the saloon and saw both new faces and old, even if the old he did not know well. He then strode over to Cronk and the ranger Docken.

"Good evening my friends!" Althior took a seat next to them, "I'm surprised, I've been back for a few hours and a Crusader hasn't barged in. " Althior needed a good laugh, even though he had helped the Ziegfrieds and got his promised reward, he still felt like he had failed them. "No doubt Cronk has told you about our quest, but how about yours, Bartholomew? Did it go well?"

De'kra nodded and held out his fist. The shade glanced at his hand, his eyes wide. The move was instinctual, to bang fists with a fellow. Was it a part of his past: sealed away inside his head? Would Hybros know this behavior?

"Are you looking forward to either of the upcoming quests, Jess?

"Yes, I'm looking forward to Quest #5 quite a bit. I heard it's going to be awesome and fun. I'm not going to sign up though, as I have a prior engagement."

"Ah yes I have my suspicions about that quest as well. Good ones I assure you."

"While I'm fine with going on either quest, that is if I get chosen, I'm not sure if the Shadeaux will hire me after what we did to Umbra."

Amorith stopped in front of the entrance into the fabled Heroica Hall, many a great hero had gone through these doors to fame and fortune but many had also been lost in the mists of time. He gathered his courage and stepped into Heroica Hall. Immediately a great wave of noise hit him, Amorith was a quiet elf and disliked loud noises but he steeled himself with the thought that soon he could be helping the citizens of the great Eubric port. He walked up to the quest board and saw that two quests were open, he read through both of them and while quest 5 sounded great he was certaintly no great fighter, not yet, at any rate. Quest 4 sounded more to his liking though and he saw that they were looking for mages. So he signed up for Quest #4 Taming the Lions Looking around for company he walked up to Scheherazade's saloon and sat down at one of the benches...

"I believe," interjects Boomingham, "That he is mistakenly saying that you were on the quest with myself, which would have been a blessing I'm sure, but simply isn't true. He is also making the mistake of thinking we killed Umbra, which we did not. Who could have killed a pretty face like that!"

Hello Cronk! Hello Mage Althior! :sweet:

My quest went quite well, though I must admit, I thought we were finished after the Scarecrows.

"Yes, I'm looking forward to Quest #5 quite a bit. I heard it's going to be awesome and fun. I'm not going to sign up though, as I have a prior engagement."

But it's quite evident, Quest 4 will be awesomest. :innocent:
