Throlar made his fourth unnoticed dramatic entrance to Heroica Hall, and wasn't really very surprised when no one saw him. He wandered over to the quest board dejectedly, and began to read it in an uninterested sort of way, until...

Sereptrine? No, we aren't going to try for relations with them for a few years...

All the same his interest was peaked and his eye wandered onward, the next quest was interesting, and after a few minutes of rereading he looked over his shoulder. and after pondering for a bit he decided to seek out the famous Heroica Library before deciding anything.

Karie gets up and out of her seat.

"Well, I might as well disappear for a while. I'll be at the Albatross if anyone wants me, and if you see me out on the streets, give me a shout. I'll be back by the time the next bunch of quests shove off."

Karie leaves the hall and departs into the snowy streets.

Alone again, Arthur sees two new pitches posted. Ella...? Here? And the Academy...Lyren and Nuitan! Torn, Arthur quickly pens his name for Quests 92 and 93.

Arthur slumps back dejectedly, half anticipating and half dreading the replies that awaited him. Unable to find a comfortable position, he stands up suddenly and determinedly walks out of the Hall.

[Tachyon]

Mizuki watches people exit the hall. Feeling bored with nothing to do after writing letters, Mizuki starts drinking tea at the bar while waiting for someone interesting to talk to or some crazy thing to happen. While she waits, she thinks about her homeland. The empire of Njag. How it was usually in war with Xu. Xu and its airships.......

[Duvors]

Hell, I'm right back where I started.

Throlar was not doing well, not that he ever did. Between blinding rage, melancholy, sly selfish cunning, and selflessness he had no room for happiness, and not so long ago he was doing well, back in Titaan.

Discouraged by his inability to find the Library sand by his unwillingness to defy his aide he wandered over to the stairs and clumped up them to the bar.

"Well?" said the barmaid "What do you want?"

Throlar suddenly grinned and said,

"I lived a year on orange juice, thought I was doing well,

And now they tell me orange juice is fattening as well."

"Whiskey and soda please, I need it."

Throlar was sedated, alcohol always did that, unless it was mead, or spiced rum. In his present mood he was ready to find a nice quiet corner and ruminate, and with this end in mind he decided to resume his heroic quest for the library. But as he did so he passed the Questboard, and simultaneously made up his mind.

As I gaze upon the signing sheet for the academy of enlightenment search party, I note the names of the other interested applicants. They seem like fine and experienced questers, I hope I won't embarrass myself by getting killed by the first vermin that comes my way. I stroke my beard musing for a moment. I decide to order a half pint of 'embalmers old peculiar', a malty ale reminiscent of coal tar and cottage cheese. When I notice Tholar, He seems brooding so I nod and raise the beer at him but do not intrude upon his meditations.

[Cutcobra]

Bored with nothing to do, Heckz walks over to the bar and orders a drink. He took out his handmirror and hairbrush and started brushing his hair. Holy hair, this place is boring. There are barely any good looking ladies, like the dark haired one who is drinking tea.

[Tachyon]

Mizuki looked and saw a blond mage with a handmirror and hairbush, brushing his hair. Watching him, Mizuki snickered and walked out of the hall, looking for something to do.

[Cutcobra]

Hecks noticed the dark haired girl leave the hall. Well, atleast I've still got the best thing in the hall. He looked at himself in the handmirror, grinning.

[K-Nut]

Althior signs up for Quests #92 and #93

Throlar once again wanders into the hall and sees the conceited mage (What the hell was his name again? Ach, who cares.) and Althor, at whom he threw a pebble, and then left again.

[Dragonfire]

Avalanche throws open the Hall's doors once more, this time with a haversack bulging with various potions and the suchlike that he had acquired at the Fields. He had returned early in the hope of getting a place on a new quest. Seeing the questboard, he immediately signs up for Quest#93. After signing his name, he leaves once more for the Marketplace, to spend his newfound gold.

I enter the hall and sign up for quests 92 and 93 before heading back on out again.

That trip to the fields was pretty worth the while, I think, clutching my heavy purse.

Heckz gets the sudden feeling that he should get the Bufoon's Hat and starts looking at it throughly.

Alexander enters in the Hall after the Fields of Glory, sign-up for Quest 92 and then reaches the bar to take a drink and rest.

Heckz gets the sudden feeling that he should get the Bufoon's Hat and starts looking at it throughly.

Nain spots Hecks who is contemplating a hat, there is a subtle feel in the aether followed by a sudden urge to poke fun at him, Nain shakes his head to rid himself of the sensation, "my! a magically enhanced bufoons hat. what interesting magic. where did you aquire it?"

[Dragonfire]

Avalanche re-enters the hall and orders some cider from the bar. He pads over to the nearest table and sits down, scanning the room.

[Nic herring]

I spot Throlar catch my eye before suddenly departing, he seemed down, i'll be sure to ask him if he's ok next time I see him.

A yeti sits at a table nearby I marvel at his height as he towers over my dwarfly stature. "well met my barbarian friend"

Avalanche re-enters the hall and orders some cider from the bar. He pads over to the nearest table and sits down, scanning the room.

[Dragonfire]

Avalanche scans the hall, looking for familiar faces. He sees some people he has quested with, both in the Fields and in the Marketplace, and he sees his friend Heckz, wearing a stupid-looking jester's hat. Resisting the urge to laugh, he continues looking around. The only other person he can see is an unfamiliar dwarf. Must be new around here. Avalanche takes a sip of his cider.

Thalion walks back in the Hall and passing by the Quest board, signs his name for Quest #93.

Afterwords, he walks to the bar and there spots a familiar face. "Alexander, my friend, you are back form the Fields already? How was it?"

New indeed, just arrived in the city. so i'm keen to meet new folks. Ive never met a yeti before - facinating
