Deer Certan Elf (you know yuo are)

I am writing becose I ahave been unable to talk to you for days, my days aer empty and holow when i do not see yoo. You know I alllways think of you and need to see you. :cry_sad: I want to tell you

"Poor sob," Jess said to herself. "He should know that I sleep at different times than he does. I know exactly who it is, too..."

De'kra returned to the hall from the library. The shade walked carefully over to Hybros and the Orc, careful to avoid the light. "I ask library-ape about dean-man," added De'kra, "He say Abraxas dean-man manifestation of pride. There dean-men for other negative emotions also, not know their names. Do you know what demon exactly?"

Pure evil. Some in ancient mythology may look like me, but I assure you I am no demon.

Demon is evil thing that try to corrupt mortals. Make mortals evil, too. Cronk try bash all evil Cronk finds.

This new information worry Cronk. Is not also prideful to go after evil demon without accepting help? Cronk hope new Mage friends be careful. Cronk knows that bashing evil is not as easy as bashing evil looks.

De'kra looked puzzled and asked, "Pure evil? Not one good trait? I find hard understand, but I not know islands well. You think knowledge about Abraxas will help future? Dean-man manifestation of pride, maybe he uses pride. Dean-man might used pride of Zed to make Zed help him. Wizard leader vanished first, Zed second in line for throne. And first thing red wizard said, recorded in library, wizards were very proud. The wizards might in danger, Cronk quick in mind."

Heh, indeed. The pride of the Ziegfrieds may be what is attracting such a demon, or maybe even the cause of it.

But such talk should not be discussed when we're among friends. We're together now, and we must rejoice at that.

De'kra shrugs, and drops the matter. Personally the shade thinks knowledge is power, and only by informing and discussing things with allies could a good plan be made. Keeping secrets or ignoring the truth will only create danger, and hurt the ones uninformed. After a time he clicks, "You have quested, right? What it like when questing? What I need know about quests for future?

Jess thought for a moment, then pulled a quill out from her bag. Jess began to write in her hard writing on the note...

Hello, my Norse admirer. I'm so sorry that I've missed you for this long; you should know that I sleep at odd times. I want to know what you wanted to tell me...

Jess left the note on the bar, and took a seat.

De'kra winces, uncomfortable with trusting the strangers of the hall. "I not know most heroes here," he said, "I not know if they trustable. But great hero say; "Danger anvil on which trust forged." Not exact quote, but close. I rest now, you learn more, tell I?" After hearing their response, De'kra walked away to get some sleep in. He didn't need it, but he enjoyed sleep. He never remember his dreams, but each time he woke up he felt a rush of sadness and joy. It was like remembering an old friend.

"Indeed, De'kra, you should fare well no matter what you face, as long as you have others at your side", Hyrbros said. As the shade prepared to leave, the imp added, "Farewell, I hope to see you soon", and with that disappeared from the Hall. He did not have dreams, or at least remember them, but he wish he did. Still, he needed sleep, and returned to his outdoor suite, which was a hole in the ground beneath a large thorn bush that only the smallest of creatures could enter.

Sylph Solanum entered the building. The doors flew open dramatically in a gust of cool wind. Sylph's weathered cape billowed against his back, sweeping him into the Hall as a wave on a rock. As the doors shut, Sylph's bat rocketed through like a bat out of hell. Despite the well-worded, dramatic entrance, no one in the hall seemed to notice the return of Sylph Solanum, which was just as well for him. He glanced with some interest at the newcomers of the Hall. He quickly scanned the room for faces he recognized. There were some. Some even who he had parted with only a short time ago. He also noticed the absence of Bacari. He chuckled to himself.

Striding with purpose, Sylph arrived at the Questboard. Sylph examined the board closely. His eyes consumed the names of those who had posted, and finally settled on on quest which he found to his liking. Sylph signed up for quest 4. He wanted to get to know the Shadeaux house better, as the up-and-coming merchants seemed an influential bunch (with great taste in symbols.) He could also use a new weapon. As he turned his back, he hesitated. Although, he only wanted to participate in the 4th quest, the 6th was also not too bad. He signed for the 6th quest too. With that, Sylph sought out a dark place in which he could sulk.

De'kra awoke, to find the sky pleasantly dark. As he gained at the sky, he felt a sudden wave of hate and disgust. The stars in the sky hurt more than the sun's light on the best of days. But at least they won't be there long, already the sun was starting to emerge into the sky. De'kra walked away, and sat down in his dark corner again. As he sat there he wondered what a dean man looks like.

Haldor had slept little last night, and was eager to return to the hall to meet new friends and discuss theories about Abraxes, and see if there was a reply on the bar.

Haldor's heart jumped as he saw the letter, and part of him didn't want to read it. But Haldor pulled himself together and opened it. The writing was neater and had no mistakes unlike Haldor's untidy scrawl. With trepidation he read the letter, and understood why he had not seen the writer. Then he came to last part, and Haldor winced, it had been awefully conveniant that his quill had broke. He couldn't imagine how many people might be sneakily reading the letter, he had heard of and seen the writer for a while, but only spoke to them a few days ago. Haldor wasn't sure he was ready to empty his soul into they this letter. But he had been brushing up on his writing recently

Dear certain elf,

I do not no how to expres my feelings in thsi letter, so I will not make a ballad or organise a feest. I simply say to you honestly

Haldor stopped writing, he could not bring himself to write what he wanted too. Be brave, be strong, he thought to himself. He knew he could not face his friends knowing he had hid from the truth, so, with a trembling hand Haldor Skovgaard continued his letter.

I simply say to yyo honestly, I (You can do this) I love you. ()

Now it was down on paper Haldor felt more at ease, he handed the letter to the barmaid to insure no-one else would read it (). He sat down at the nearest chair, his heart fluttering.

Tesni had been walking in the mountains, it had been beautiful there, nearly like home. An overnight camp out in a cave, to satisfy her hunger for home, and an early swim in a lake. Now she was back in the hall, eagerly awaiting a quest, the gossip and the company of her friend.

After a long night of undisturbed sleep Namyrra returned to Heroica Hall to catch up with her companions from the quest. She was somewhat surprised at how impressed she was about some of them, in particular the mage Nyx had proven her worth during their search for the missing Ziegfried matriarch.

Stopping by the quest board on her way she noticed several new opportunities had been posted, and after a bit of consideration put down her name for Quest #4 and Quest #5, after deciding that thief-catching wasn't for her, and as the silly person asking for champions for his arena didn't want any magic users. Such a common trait in envious people not capable of wielding magic themselves.

Having thus decided she ventured further into the Hall to search out the cleric Sylph, with whom she was hoping to do business.. that is, trying to persuade them to part with the emerald they got from the Ziegfrieds. Obviously for a better price than they could hope to get at the marketplace, fair is fair after all.

Having not yet explained his past Elgar finnaly started: I come from far off Ennon where I was a grand archer. I was at a castle with many other archers and soliders, 50 of us all together then in the great hall 500 enemy attaked, men, orcs, trolls, hounds I therew a knife at a trool killing it and squashing many, triple shoted three orc and used and arrow to stab a drunken man. I did much more to fin only 3 others and I survied the slauger. we went outside to see 1000 more soldiers, so we ran to the stables and left the castle. We arived at the three islands 2 months ago, 1 got stabbed by wolfgang, 1 retired and 1 other is somewhere on the free islands looking for work for a lonely knight. So I came here and look at me ready to face a quest

Haldor rose to his feet and ordered some food, full of energy, he decides to find more about the imposing barbarian woman, Tesni.

"Hello Miss Hightribe :classic: , I have heard lots about your blade Cryfder, may I ask how you managed to own such a blade?

Sylph spotted Namyrra as soon as she returned to the hall. He was situated on a bench in a dark and quiet-ish corner of the room. His gloved hands clenched a tankard of water with several leaves floating on the top. It was still full as Sylph didn't have a mouth hole on his mask. Something he deeply regretted. His gaze from within the imposing helmet appeared to be cast on the floor, but in actuality was locked on Namyrra as she approached him.

"Greetings," she said, drawing his attention from the floor.

"Greetings," Sylph replied softly.

"There is a matter I wish to discuss with you." stated Namyrra.

"Shoot." said Sylph as he gestured to the stool beside him. "I'm all ears."

Tesni entered the hall from the marketplace, pleased she had sold the blade to someone who would find uss of it. She heard tell that the norse cleric had enquired of her sword but it seemed he was leaving for the night. Shrugging at missed conversation she headed over to the bar to order a meal and some small beer.

De'kra entered the hall once more, now wielding a strong weapon. He had used all his gold in that purchase, but at least he was well armed for when he started his first quest. But of course, De'kra knew the dagger wasn't the most important thing. A wise hero had once said, "The power comes from me, the sword is but the focus." Looking around, the shade heard the Orc hostess mention that some heroes failed in quests. In fact, one of the recent heroes, named Lady Wren, failed in all her missions. That had to hurt.
