"The guy who posted the notice told me to tell you to meet him at the Temple of Ennoc, here in Eubric", Scheherazade notified the Heroes. She then silently muttered, somewhat angrily: "He didn't really tell me, though, the idiot left me a note, so he wouldn't have to talke to an Orc in person. Filthy Paladin prick."

QM Note: If you'd rather not come on the Quest because of time constraints, WBD, I'll take Francis instead. Just let me know :classic: . I won't be mad at you  .

Quest thread will be up later this evening (Belgium time).

"I'd certainly be up for quest #112, I'm itching to try out my newly learned skills in combat, and taking out a pirate sounds like a good opportunity for that."

"This was a quick quest..." thought between herself Alexander entering in the Hall. He reached the Quest Board and see an Open Quest that catch his eys: he sign-up for Quest 112: The Lion, the Wretch, and the Warlord. He remember Indiacca and the part of Heroica heroes in pacifying Rik'ilf, he would be very happy to return there again.

He sees in the Hall Francis Barkley and he reached him "Hello, Master Barkley, I was thinking if you were interested in the Tricorne? I can sell it to you for 90 gold, let's say 85 gold."

Alexander hands the Tricorne to Francis and takes 85 gold. "I hope it will serve you well as it did with me!" he says before going to the bar in search of something to drink and eat; if Francis will follow, Alexander wouldn't mind a chat.

Francis follows Alexander to the bar as he puts on his newly purchased tricorne.

"Vandagant, I see you have signed up for quest #112. You'll have to form a group to sign up as though. I could join your party for the quest if you don't mind having a less experienced hero with you."

Leofwein straightens up. "Aha! We've been drafted for our first quest."

"It would seem so... I've only been here for maybe an hour, and already we're heading out. Much more of a faster pace than I was expecting. That's for sure. I was saved by Heroicans, once - I didn't realize they led such bustling lives.

Anyway, I'm going to run to the Marketplace."

"I sign-up to let everyone know I'm for this quest, but you are right, I need a party. You acted well in our last adventure and I'm sure you'll act just as well in the next." smiles the eleven archer; however, only two doesn't go anywhere, so they need more heroes. "Only a moment..."

He reaches the Quest Board and put on a sign

Looking for party for Quest 112:

Alexander Vandangant, level 24.66 Hunter

Francis Barkley, level 5 ranger

looking for 2/3 heroes, possibly mid-level, find us in the bar corner...

Then he return to the bar back to Francis "Now let's see if someone is interested. If you see Lady Annienal, stop her so we can ask her if she is interested in joining."

After a sip from the mug, he watches the human archer "What made you decide to become a heroic archer?"

Posted

"Loot mostly. I decided to join Heroica for the loot. As for why I'm an archer, well to be completely honest I've always been a bit scared of being hurt in battle, so I like being able to fight while keeping my distance from enemies."

Francis' face flushes red with embarrassment after telling of his cowardice.

"What about you? Why did you join Heroica?"

Posted

"Adventure, this is the keyword. I join to live new adventure, to see the world out of the elven forest, I know it's a common thing..." smiles Alexander "...but it's my main driver. In my home, it's common to learn archery, it's our main weapon, and I was particularly talented for bows and such things, although I also learned other forms of combat." he pauses taking a sip from his mug "Being an archer is usefull not only because you can keep the distance but because you can hurt without being seen too, maybe you should think about this, when you will have to choose in what specialize."

Posted (edited)

"Thanks for the advice, though it may be a while until I have to choose what to specialize in. I hope to be more roguish, like an assassin, one day due to how good they are at stealing. Back home we didn't have much money, so I jump at any chance to get some. Earning money is pretty much what motivates me to go on quests."

Francis scans the hall for heroes that might want to go on quest #112.

"Alright. can't say I'm the best at fighting, but I can near guarantee that I'll be able to be of some help if you come up against any hostile individuals"
