The Chosen Minifigure Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 The door opens silently, a gentle breath of cool night air blowing past the cloaked figure. He walks quietly and quickly, but not with haste, rather instead with calm purpose. Around his shoulders is wrapped a gray cloak made of some fine foreign fur. He pauses in front of the questing board, studying the various scrolls and parchments tacked up. From some pocket deep inside his wraps, he pulls out a worn quill and scratches out a name onto the team sheet for the Fields of Glory. Lind Whisperer signs up for the Fields of Glory. Warlen decides not to meet the two new heroes, and instead walks over to Lind Whisperer. "Hello. I'm Warlen Melimane, the mage who Z-Mailed you about the F.O.G. team. I presume you are still interested in joining us?" Quote

UsernameMDM Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Hoke re-enters the Hall, this time with a new companion. He spies out Arthur among the crowd and delivers the letter. "Something of interest perhaps?," he says. Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 (edited) "Well, Germ and Vindsval are over there", he said, motioning to their table, "And Throrlar alsi signed up and meets the... requirements. You and me would round out the team to 5 members: 2 Rouges, A mage, A knight, and A cleric." Edited October 14, 2014 by The Chosen Minifigure Quote
Flipz Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Erik enters the hall just in time to see someone pin an advertisement for heavy armour to the quest board. He makes his way to stand next to the man's table, and places 115 gold next to him. "I'd be interested in that armour, Mr Regulus?" "It's yours," Arthur replies, passing the man the armor and adding the coin to his purse. "Enjoy." Hoke re-enters the Hall, this time with a new companion. He spies out Arthur among the crowd and delivers the letter. "Something of interest perhaps?," he says. Arthur raises an eyebrow. "Guess I've been doing something right." He opens the envelope, scanning the note inside. "Err--I hope?" He makes to lay the message out upon the table for all to see, then thinks better of it, showing its contents only to the Mystic Knight who had brought it to him: To Mister Regulus, Word has reached us of your service and loyalty to this House. Based on this and your record of service with the Lion Knights, we believe you to be an ideal candidate for a recently-vacated position of further aid to us. Should you wish to accept this offer, present yourself to the guard at Chateau de Shadeaux at noon in three days' time. He will escort you to your meeting. Sincerely yours, ~Sir Isaac Shawe "I'm...not sure what to make of it?" The Skirmisher folds the note and tucks it away, only then noticing the scaly brown creature following Hoke. "Looks like I'm not the only one who seems to have made a new friend," he remarks. "Who's this?" Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 "It sounds like we have a party, then." Quote
JimBee Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 "Perhaps not. But when it comes down between you and them in the heat of battle, there's not much time to consider the weight of your actions," He takes a slow sip of the drink in front of him, "It's after the fact when you have your regrets." He stated, simply. "Yes, of course. It is the will to survive and a strong purpose that keeps us going. No one has stopped me so far. Do your standards differ? Heheheh..." "So, Hybros...did you manage to get a hold of Mizuki Kimura for me?" Hybros looked up at the arrival of Arthur, along with a few of who he assumed were his recent questmates. Among them, a tough-looking armored knight with a small dragon hatchling on his shoulder. The imp looked on wearily; he had several experiences with dragons and even fought one, and knew they were quick to anger. Even the little ones. "Ehehm, no I did not find this woman that you spoke of... I think you will be wanting this back, yes? Eheh..." he reluctantly pulled a pouch of 150 gold from his pocket and returned it to the Skirmisher. Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Warlen nodded to Lind, then walked over to the QuestBoard and pinned up a hastily drawn note. Prepared party for the Fields of Glory: Warlen Melimane (And by default Quarion.), mage. The Demon Germ, rouge. Vindsval Half-Born, cleric. Lind Whisperer, rouge. Throlar Wingheim, knight. Team subject to change if any hero is chosen for Quest. Quote

Myrddyn Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Erik sits at a nearby table after his deal with Mr Regulus, and writes a note to pin on the questboard: For sale: Rubber Gloves (For Mixture, the die is rolled three times instead of twice, and the highest two results determine the created item; suitable to alchemists; handwear). Scubacarrot Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Guts sees a notice for Rubber Gloves. and walks up to Erik. "Alright mate. What were you hoping to get for them." Guts also signs up for Quests 116 and 118. Quote

K-Nut Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 It doesn't take him long to spot three of his correspondents recuperating from their own adventures; he quickly passes them all by, leaving 50 Gold for Benji, 120 Gold for Sarge, and finally collapsing into a chair at Hybros and Althior's table, sliding 2 Scrap Metal and 50 Gold to the latter. "Don't mind me, I've just had a long night. A very, very long night." The Skirmisher once again curses the Veterans' time-dilation spell, when a thought crosses his mind... "So it seems," He pulls the Metasimian Dory out of his pack, unaware of exactly who he is talking to, though he has his suspicions. "Don't hurt yourself with that, kiddo. Seemed pretty sharp when I was on the other end of it," Quote

"Interesting, to say the least. If I am not selected for this upcoming quest, I may accompany you, if that is not a bother." "I'm...not sure what to make of it?" The Skirmisher folds the note and tucks it away, only then noticing the scaly brown creature following Hoke. "Looks like I'm not the only one who seems to have made a new friend," he remarks. "Who's this?" "Oh! This here is Torc," Hoke says as his fingers twirl the brown hatchling's writhing tail "I paid a visit to the Copper Fox, and he trained me in the Dragoon fighting style. However, Torc and I need to form a bond, get to know each other, before we are effective in battle, so she will be my companion and not my fighting help, at least not for now." Hoke pulled out another small piece of meat and held it fast between his thumb and forefinger, making the amber brown hatchling fight and struggle to earn it's prize. Hoke could feel its purring hiss and a slight glowing heat upon his neck. "In the meantime, I will continue practicing as a Mystic Knight." Edited October 14, 2014 by UsernameMDM Quote

Kintobor Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 (edited) Annienal watches the teenaged human walk up to the bar and grab himself some kind of liquor, looking a little put off by his appearance. She doesn't take much notice of him and dives her face into a book from her bag, hoping she'd be to inconspicuous to notice. Edited October 14, 2014 by Kintobor Quote
Asphalt Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Vindsval steps up to the bar next to Bobby and holds out his cask for a refil. I suppose if one is old enough to die for the guild one is old enough to drink with the guild. Have you signed your name to any new quests since you have returned my small friend? It would appear that there is a haunted mansion in need of cleaning. Quote
