Actually, if you're ever interested in purchasing things from the marketplace, those fellows owe me a couple of favours. In actuality, they practically owe the wellness of their businesses to me, but they'd refuse to admit it...entirely. Anyway, I can get you a discount from the marketplace if you need one."

I think quickly for an easy amount.

"I can give you 15 percent off."

So that's what, 571 gold to bring this up to level 14?

I believe it's 586.5 to be precise.

"585, you're talking about that Pongcanis one, right?"

The 'Crossbow of Incessant Warmongers', yes. Such a pleasant title. And then that's about 607 for level 15, right? I think I can do that.

I think that's about right. I apologize if my math is totally off. At least Dyric has been previously established at being awful at the sciences.

Nerwen slips into the foyer if the hall and looks over the questboard. She signs up for quests #119 and #120

She writes minstrel next to her name and level although she has not yet trained. She then goes to do just that.

"Fenral? I give you 200 gold for that small axe."

"For this thing? You got yourself a deal." Alexis hands him the axe and takes the gold.

Say Alexis, you don't seem to be in need of your quiver lately. Sadly I just gave a bunch of money to upgrade my weapons, but I would still be willing to trade you my sandals or tricorne, or simply pay you later.

[CMP]

Miderun frowned underneath her mask and for what felt like the first times in days set down her book we a Fenarian walked past her. A very strange....smell wafted by. She got to her feet and approached Namyrra.

"Excuse me. You wouldn't hapen to have any perfume, would you? I've heard about that stuff. I'll give you 100 gold if you have any."

[Palathadric]

The 'Crossbow of Incessant Warmongers', yes. Such a pleasant title. And then that's about 607 for level 15, right? I think I can do that.

I shoot up an eyebrow wondering what kind of trick the rogue is trying to pull on me, but decide to be patient.

"Nope to upgrade from a Level 8 weapon to a Level 15 weapon would normally be 840 gold at the Marketplace. I can give it to you for 715 roughly. To upgrade to a Level 14 weapon would be 690 normally, but I can do about 585 for you."

[Sandy]

The chosen participants to the two open quests were posted on the Quest Board, causing a crowd to form in front of it. Only six heroes turned away from the board satisfied, all the others disappointed.

Namyrra accepts the 100 gold and hands over the Seductive Perfume to Miderun.

I take the 585 gold from Dyric and head over to the Marketplace.

Returning to the hall, I hand Dyric back his vastly improved weapon.

"It should work like a charm now," I assure him. "Nice doing business with you."

[CMP]

"Why yes little one, I do in fact have some perfume, and since I hardly ever use it I guess you might be better off with it. Be careful with it though, it is very potent stuff."

Namyrra accepts the 100 gold and hands over the Seductive Perfume to Miderun.

Miderun picked up the cracked bottle.shaking it curiously.

"Huh. Hopefully it'll come in handy on this next quest. Thank you, arauznmyr."

[The Legonater]

It's got a ways to go yet, but that's definitely a start. Thanks for the help.

"I could get you a 15% discount on your purchases. I went on a quest to save the marketplace from some thieving town watch members, so they owe me a fair bit. I'm trained as an artisan now and believe me, when you know how to go about it, those fellows cave in when enough pressure is demanded for discounts."

I chuckle.

"So," I add, "you gave up raiding for a more peaceable venture? Or is alchemy a better tool to you?"

[Scubacarrot]

"Hm. I'll let you know, there should be a way we can both benefit with that perk of yours, surely."

Guts slaps Pretzel on the back. "Raiding, never really liked that term, if you call going around slashing and smashing and taking raiding, sure, but you know... Let's just say... Alchemy is way more... fun. There's exciting potions, the occasional explosion... I like it."

[The Legonater]

"So," I add, "you gave up raiding for a more peaceable venture? Or is alchemy a better tool to you?"

Guts Holla? Peacable? That's a laugh.

[Scubacarrot]

"Dyric. Words cut as hard as swords sometimes, you hurt my feelings implying I am a violent person." Guts says in jest.
