Returning back to the hall, Dyric takes a look around. Seeing a group of familiar faces, he moves towards the table, seating himself across from Nerwen.

'Been a while. I don't think I've said hi since you're gotten back.

"Yeah, I've been well. Haven't been on any quests recently, but I'm planning to get back into it soon. Thinking of training as a battle-mage. How have you been?"

"Personally, I've been alright. I mean I don't really go on any of the really big and popular quests, but questing still pays well and is rather fun. I know this might be odd, but do you mind lending me 2 gold coins ?"

Polly stood outside the entrance to Heroica hall, bear in hand. The girl gazed up at the slogan, beautifully engraved above the doorway, "~When You Need an Act of Heroism, We Are At Your Service.~" The girl sighed, this was not the life she had expected it to be, this wasn't her world, wasn't her future, the time had come for something different, perhaps one day she'd return but for the moment she needed to be somewhere else. Shouldering her pack and with Mr. Sanders trailing behind, the girl left for the long journey home, a hero no longer.

Nerwen smiles a wide grin. Sereg'wethrin, it has been a while, hi! How goes your light-killing? And your lady friend?

I and Claire are faring well, thank you. As for my light-killing, the other day I went and helped the elves near R'klif attack a pirate base. The Minotaur escaped, but we were able to severely hamper his operations. Before then was... Baltarok, I believe. How are you? Also, do I have anything you'd like to purchase? I need to make a quick buck before the Decamon tournament.

Leofwein walks into the Hall after a successful quest. He walks over to Alexandre.

"Aye sir, hello."

"Hello."

"I see thou habst something a barbaric brute like I could use."

"Yes, I do. In fact, I will gift it to you for free because that's what a skirmisher, whose mission is to support his others and protect them as much as possible, is supposed to do."

"Great, if we quest, I'll stand in the same row as thee, and if we have someone else we can get a bonus."

"Good. I hope to quest with you."

"Equally."

Alexandre gives Leofwein his Mr. Snuggles (Accessory, +1 HP, +1 Power, +1 SP, cannot be imbued with scrolls, suitable for barbarians)

Kiray noticed the new quest posted and watched the other heroes sign up. "Well, what have we got to lose?" she asked Actaeon and Nerwen. Kiray signed up for Quest #121.

Nerwen would have kicked the questboard. If she was there, or perhaps she wasn't. Bit since the questboard was kicked she must've been going to have been there. Anyway, reality was warped and her sign up for the quest had clearly been going to have been eaten by the snafu, meaning that she was signed up because she must've been going to.

Having completed his training as a Battle Mage, Erik finds Pretzel at the Questboard.

Erik signs his name up for Quest #121: Want your mummy?

"You said you could get a 15% discount at the marketplace? Could you have the gems removed from this stuff, and a ruby imbued in both the Titanic Axe and the Heavy Armour, and the Titanic Axe's weapon power taken up to 12?"

Erik hands Monk Pretzel 442 gold, as well as a load of equipment. (OOC: Details are in spoilers to avoid cluttering the hall thread)

Twin Axe (WP: 5, Darkness-elemental dual strike-axe), Voltedge (WP: 13, Lightning-elemental; greatsword/longsword), 3 Torches (WP:2, fire-elemental, breaks after one use, suitable to all), Sharkskin Armour (SP +1, immune to Water; bodywear), Heavy Armour (SP: 5, immune to Fragile, bodywear), Titanic Axe (WP:11, Earth, Light-elemental, has 1/6 chances of inflicting petrified-effect; axe).

Remove a total of 6 gems from Twin Axe, Voltedge, Sharkskin Armour, 3 Torches: 300 gold at 50 gold each

Add Ruby (from Torch) to Heavy Armour and Titanic Axe: 100 gold at 50 gold each

Upgrade Titanic Axe WP to 12: 120 gold

Total: 520 gold - 25% = 390

Pretzel's profit: 520 - 90% = 52

Nerwen walks by the questboard again, humming a complex tune she recalled from when she was young. A backhand swipe with her crowbar prods the questboard to remember she was a minstrel not a paladin.

"Not a problem at all. Glad to be of assistance."

Returning to the hall with Erik's orders met, I hand him back his weapons.

"Going the route of the Battle mage, are you? Be careful that the magic of it doesn't corrupt your heart. You're still young and if you delve too deep into the arcane arts, it can do funny things to you, you know. ... Just be careful."

Guts sits himself down and watches in wonder how Nerwen keeps hitting the Questing Board. Must be an Elven thing.

"So, Nerwen. Why did you decide to be a Minstrel of all things?"
