Bobby's head begins to clear up a bit. "Yo, this Hall is whack, man," he mutters to himself. "I gotta find a book or some coffee or some booze to get my head spun back on right." He signs his name to Quest #122 and then wanders off towards the bar.

Benji approaches a sleeping gnome by the name of Grimwald. Shaking him awake he whispers, "Would you be up for a little business, Master Gnome?"

Posted (edited)

"Oh, hello there. *yawn* I suppose I would, I uh... oh! I'm guessing you'd like these Grating Stones, or this Mythril Shard? Quite the popular items, correct?"

Grimwald also signs up for Quest #122.

"Alright. I only have 412 gold now but I will pay you another 38 gold when I get it... Alright with you?" Benji hands over the gold and receives the mythril shard and two grating stones.

Althior stood up from his long-maintained spot in the bar, making his way towards the questboard. Seeing a few new quests posted, he bolded his name under Quest #125 and signed up for Quest #124 as an afterthought. If there was something amiss in Ziegfried manor, perhaps it was a time he payed the family a visit, especially after the information he'd learned of Bluto's knowledge. He had promised the tower keeper to keep the boy safe, and he had intended to, no matter what.

Darksten had finished his sorting and had moved on to watching the bustle of the hall while sipping on a beverage from the bar. When the two new quests were posted, he meandered over to sign up for both. The reward of toys and instruments didn't sound that exciting, but making friends with a powerful family never hurt. Plus it beat sitting around...

Darksten signs up for quests #124 & #125.

"Darn, looks like I'm not going out just yet." Tesni shrugged. She took out a set of clothes to polish her blades, it had been a while since they had been looked after.

Warlen walked over to the woman polishing a formidable looking sword.

"Hello, Ma'am. I couldn't help noticing that you have a scroll of sleep poking out of your backpack. I was wondering if you might be interested in selling it? Let's see... would 60 gold be enough?"

The great oaken doors of the Hall part, admitting a helmeted man in heavy armor, accompanied by a swift blur of gold that sweeps past him on leathern wings and settles in the ceiling rafters. Arthur sighs. Even though Miirym had behaved herself on the voyage home and the subsequent weeks of recuperation, she had grown no less petulant, no more cooperative. In spite of his training, he had no clue how to reach his draconic companion--he had even visited Bric'bay seeking Luke and Lord Knyghton for advice, though to his dismay the former had not been present to aid him. His only hope now was to return to his work in Heroica, in hopes of forging the bond of trust that had somehow been broken between them.

Seeing a familiar face across the way, he starts towards her, but a moment later decides to divert momentarily to the Quest board. He scans the three visible notices, nonplussed, until spotting a name that had weighed heavily upon his mind as of late.

Zeigfried.

Hesitating but a moment to double-check the contents of the pitch, Arthur signs his name to Quest 125. "Note to self: ask...her...to put in a good word when I go to visit," the once--and perhaps future--Mage murmurs to himself.

His business with the Board complete, Arthur returns his attention to the woman he had first sighted upon his entrance...a woman whose weapon called to him with the voice of his own flesh.

"Tesni Hightribe," Arthur says by way of greeting, removing his bat-winged helm and laying it beside him as he takes a seat next to the Berserker. "It's been a while. Much has happened since we last spoke." He winces slightly at the sight of the Quilin Blade hanging from her belt, still a bit unsure if he had performed as well as he could have in Xu. "For instance," he remarks, indicating the weapon, "I just helped the last owner of that blade of yours enact a...regime change in Xu. Wasn't the mission we'd signed up for, of course, but...well, hopefully it works out. I'm confident in Lady Ji Pei's allies." He leans back in his chair, relaxing his muscles, worn from the journeys to and from Bric'bay. "So what about you? I heard you were in Baltarok with Haldor and Dyric. It sounded...intense."

"One moment, it seems I have business to conduct."

Warlen walked over to the woman polishing a formidable looking sword.

"Hello, Ma'am. I couldn't help noticing that you have a scroll of sleep poking out of your backpack. I was wondering if you might be interested in selling it? Let's see... would 60 gold be enough?"

Tesni took out the scroll. "60 sounds fair, I have never been one for spells beyond those that make my weapons better." (If the exchange was still wanted) Tesni handed it over.

She turned back to Arthur, he had certainly changed since their last encounter. "Fighting over a bridge and which of those gods was best and such. Very much a headache, no one will see that there is no black and white it seems." She put the blade that had been leaning beside her closer to the leather strap that held it. "So you worked for Madam Shanxian? It pains me to have missed a chance to help her once more, she awarded me this blade for tasks already done but I would hav gladly wielded it in her service. What was the land like? I only ever visited a single tower!"

"Thank you, ma'am," said Warlen, leaving the 60 gold on the bench next to her.

Then he turned to the Necromancer and waited for an answer.
