Annienal fishes the coins out for the extra five gold and neatly places them on the table, making a pile of fifty coins.

"Sounds fair enough to me. Is this good?"

"Oh hi Skrall, you're thinking of going to the Fields too? That would almost be like old times when we took down both the Crystal Titan and the Kraken, eh? You, me, and Hoke at least, a nice trip as far as I can recall. From what I've heard the Fields have become tougher nowadays though, so maybe this next trip won't be quite as pleasant.."

"I'd look forward to a bit of a challenge and I'm sure with yourself and Hoke, we'd be a force to reckon with."

"A Decamodifier. I recently competed in a tournament and received access to a certain skill set. Unfortunately, I need an item that is only available at old MacDonald's. That and Torc needs a bit more training before she is ready for battle," Hoke said as he tossed a hunk of meat-on-the-bone her way.

Skrall reached out to respectively stroke the reptile, "You got a pet I see. I always figured you'd team up with Vipera one of these days. Who else are you thinking of taking along?"

Skrall reached out to respectively stroke the reptile, "You got a pet I see. I always figured you'd team up with Vipera one of these days. Who else are you thinking of taking along?"

With her prize clamped firmly in her jaws, Torc looked up at Skrall with her smoldering amber eyes and let out a gentle roll of earthly tinged smoke from her ember glowing nostrils. It was a non-threatening gesture, but it certainly was an invitation for Skrall to retract his reach.

Hoke couldn't help but chuckle.

"A pet she is not," Hoke said as he examined his reptilian companion, "And I do hope to see Vipera someday. I would hope they would accept each other as kin."

Hoke quickly looked around the group.

"I have a group in mind, but it's not my decision to make. I myself may not be chosen to enter the fields, which would be a sad thing indeed. Care for a refill?" Hoke asked the ogre as he waved to the barkeep.

A striking man with long blond hair walks into the Hall and straight to the quest board. He looks at it for a moment, as if he's staring at an enticing cover of a book. Finally he scratches out a few names before scribbling something at the bottom of the sheet.

Chosen Heroes for Quest #126

Vindsval Level 8 Cleric (Asphalt)

Warlen Melimane Level 8 Mage (The Chosen Minifigure)

Miderun Level 7 Barbarian (CallMePie)

Actaeon Artus Level 11 Ranger (Actaeon)

Annienal Anavir Level 7 Knight (Kintobor)

Meet me and my luscious locks at the docks for more information. Please don't be late, we have serious business to attend to.

The man gave a small smile at the list of heroes.

Yes, this will do nicely," he stated before briskly turning on his heels and strutting out of the Hall.

The Half-giant moves to the quest board.

It seems today is the day. I do hope that the employers decision runs in our favor Miderun.

"Looks like it has," remarked Miderun, with a nod towards the quest board. "And a few others we can trust to watch our backs too. This'll do well."

Yeah, that's fine. Pleasure doing business.

Annienal pockets the sharks tooth, leaving her 50 gold on the table.

"Thank you, sir."

Annienal returns to the board, waiting for the crowd to disperse before noticing her name on the board.

"Retrieving these dyes should hopefully be easy enough, and, um, less strenuous than working with the Bonaparte's."

Excellent, It would seem we are indeed in fine company. Do not allow the quaintness of an island retreat lull you into false security Mistress Anienal. The island can be full of surprises. I shall see you all again at the docks.

After working out with the kettlebells in the backroom, Keliim cleans up and walks out of the room. He walks up to Scheherazade and says with a smile: " I needed that, thank thou. I owe thee one and I will think up something how to pay thee."

Then the big man walks over to the questboard to see the updates, when he sees that he hasn´t been picked for the upcoming quest. He grins and says, "HA" Oh well, now I will have time to visit the marketplace and the library. Keliim drinks a new pint of mead and puts the mug on the nearest table and walks out of the hall, towards the Marketplace.

Thalion enters the Hall and signs up for the Fields of Glory. He goes to the bar, "Mistress Scheherazade, this is for you." he bows slightly and hands her a decorated, small, woodcut figurine of a crow, then turns and heads towards the market place to continue practicing his craft.

"Well said, Vind. I for one cannot wait to go on this quest. I'll hopefully have a chance to use my new scrolls..."

Warlen trailed off.

"Still," he added, "getting dye for this guy should be easy as pie! If you'll excuse the fact that that's soooo not gonna happen."

Actaeon takes one last gulp of his drink before he sets it back on the bar and strolls out of the hall. Finally, some fun, he thinks, smiling dryly.

Kiray watched the Ranger she grew to call a friend leave for his latest quest. She looked back out to the rest of Hall, wondering why it had grown so quiet recently.

The doors flew open, and an imposing figure walked in. It walked over to the bar, and then ordered a glass of venom mixed with mead.

"ThE mOst poiSonoUs YOu haVe..." it muttered in a rasping, irregular tone. "AnD brIng it QUicKly!"

It brought out a small lump of metal that proceeded to flow around one of his hands, forming a glove.

"Can'T be TOo caReFuLL," he remarked to the barmaid.

"You clearly are not from around these parts, where do you come from? I can't say that I've met anyone of your stature before but I guess this'll be a start, laddie. Nonetheless, welcome to the hall. And... ughh, what is that smell?"

"Me, mock you? Of course not! It is nice to meet you, Nalguz. The name's Mhinak, the almighty yet cunning Dwarven tinkerer. Feel free to order anything you want, they have amazing food here, laddie! Speaking of which, I'm going to get more to eat."

Mhinak orders some Roast Beef and Mead.

Atramor scribbles his name down under the Fields of Glory before scooping up his next rum and returning to his seat in the bar, adjusting his new hat and tossing back the spiced alcohol contently. With little to do, some practice with his cards might be a good idea. He slid a half-eaten cob of corn over to McCafferey, who began pecking it while her beady eye slides across the other denizens of the Hall.

Boris strolled into the hall, mace slung over his shoulder. Seeing no new quest postings the vampire headed for the bar, wedging his way besides a dwarf and an oversized arachnid he obtained a glass of wine and an order of blood-pudding. The cleric sipped from his glass as he mused to himself.

Boris smirked slightly, "Oh we do just fine, maybe a little fear here and there, but you'll find Eubric Freeport is pretty comfortable with folks that only have two legs." The cleric took another sip of his wine, "Can't speak for how you'll be greeted in the streets though. New to town?"
