Robert10ant Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Boris grinned at the sight of a Demon. "I stand corrected. Between you, Nally, myself, and the half-giant over there, we'd best make sure we don't run into an uninformed group of heroes and have our heads chopped off.. "NaLLy?" Muttered nazgul, unimpressed. "I hAVe no bEEf wiTh tAIlorS. It iS mY WRetchEd pEOplE tHaT hAvE nO nObILitY." "An old farmer outside of town. Seems to have reoccurring issues of monster infestation. Keeps on hiring heroes to take care of the problem but no one's been able to finish the job from what I've heard. If you're here for the thrill of battle, that'd be the place to check out. Peppermint_M Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Tesni took another look at the board, the new posting requested paladin and she'd never been anywhere close. "Ah well." She shrugged and went to fetch a meal and some drinks. Quote
bionicle_fanatic Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Is that second part directed towards me? Because, it sound like a dumb joke. I guess I could have another drink. I was just telling a "story" about my "first mission" to my new "friend" here. (I am just waiting for "him" to decide, if he wants to tell me a "story".) Karl listened with interest, the differences between the two rogue's first forays into Heroica striking him for the first time. It was obvious, in retrospect, that the quests would be diverse as anything in this world, but Karl had never thought of it that way. He hadn't even actually though about other people's experiences yet, being too wrapped up in his own future, present and past. "Sounds like it was a bit of a fiasco. I had it lucky, I was partnered with a veteran warrior and a knowledgable cleric." He scanned the room quickly, spotting Keliim in conversation with someone, but seeing no trace of Boris. "We battled giant rats, street thugs, and some nutters who had a thing against magic. Funnily enough, the rats were the ones who posed the greatest threat..." He shivered as the memory returned, and took another pull at his ale to cover. He squinted over at the questboard, his keen eyes picking out the words from across the whole room. "Paladin's, huh? No work for a rogue there..." He took a deep sigh and idly fingered his glass. "Know anyone who'd be interested in a set of armor? Immune to Darkness, suitable for Knights, Clerics, etc." Quote
Scubacarrot Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 "Know anyone who'd be interested in a set of armor? Immune to Darkness, suitable for Knights, Clerics, etc." "There's this... creative half elf called Fabian in the Marketplace that buys stuff like that if you offer it to him for what you think is fair. I reckon you should be able to get around 80 gold for that armour." Is that second part directed towards me? Because, it sound like a dumb joke. I guess I could have another drink. I was just telling a "story" about my "first mission" to my new "friend" here. (I am just waiting for "him" to decide, if he wants to tell me a "story".) "Yeah... Humour is not my strong suit. Stabbing people however... " Guts pours the wine in a glass and shoves it to the creature. "So... what are you, exactly?" Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Guts sits back and crosses his arms. "You really don't need to be a Paladin to kill a Paladin. The trick is to strike when they look up to their precious angels." The Alchemist shrugged, stood up, grabbed a bottle of wine, passing Nerwen. "Visit me before you leave, will you, I don't think there will be a lot of fun to be had among the Priests." Guts sat himself down amongst the 'monstrous' group of heroes. "A Spider, a Vampire and a ... Whatever you are, walk into a bar... Do you gentlemen drink wine?" "58 seconds." Boris muttered to himself as Guts approached the group before finishing off his goblet, "I don't mind a fine Charisian wine once and a while. Though they can be quite expensive." "NaLLy?" Muttered nazgul, unimpressed. "DiD yoU Not hEAr mY moNOloGUe aBoUT nOT giVIng a DamN if ThEY rUn iN feAR? "I hAVe no bEEf wiTh tAIlorS. It iS mY WRetchEd pEOplE tHaT hAvE nO nObILitY." "A pITy. So your people have no nobility? Must be quite the a mess of chaos and anarchy from where you come from. Where was that again?" Quote
Scubacarrot Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 (edited) "58 seconds." Boris muttered to himself as Guts approached the group before finishing off his goblet, "I don't mind a fine Charisian wine once and a while. Though they can be quite expensive." "58 Seconds to what? Sucking me dry from start to finish?" The alchemist raises an eyebrow at the undead cleric. "Anyways, at least you have a good taste in wine. The perk of being a Hero is that drinks are free, and Scheherazade just imported a case of new Charissian red." Edited February 1, 2015 by Scubacarrot Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 "Habit." Boris gave a slight smile to the observant man. "And I've been sitting here choking down a glass Drandoran Rosẻ? You are a gentleman indeed, would you care to share a glass?" " Without waiting for a response the vampire ordered two Burgundy glasses of the Charisean. Quote
LordoftheNoobs Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 (edited) "Scheherazade! You got more Charisean in? Why didn't you say so?" Grimwald exclaims, as he orders a glass for himself. He then turns to the vampire and the bald man. "A fine choice of drink, gentlemen" he says, giving a nod to both men as his drink arrives. He goes to take a sip, but stops suddenly. "Excuse me, but I must say that both of you look rather familiar. Have I met either of you before?" Edited February 2, 2015 by LordoftheNoobs Quote

He took it out, turning it so it's polished sides caught the light: all the stains and scars from the battle in the sewers had been buffed and wiped by the boy before he'd left for the hall. Quote

"Know anyone who'd be interested in a set of armor? Immune to Darkness, suitable for Knights, Clerics, etc." I thought it was. Of course I was probably not the most helpful during the time. Rats can be a big problem. You could always put a note up on the "board", that you are selling it. "Yeah... Humour is not my strong suit. Stabbing people however... " Guts pours the wine in a glass and shoves it to the creature. "So... what are you, exactly?" Some sort of "demon". If you want to know what "kind". Well no "scientist" ever "studied" and "classified" me. "58 Seconds." "Habit." Habit? It sounds like a obsessive compulsive disorder to me. Quote

I dunno, I think I'll hold onto it until I see a buyer." He winked and slid off his chair. "I might go visit the library, now." He jerked his head in the direction of the door with that name on it. "Been nice chatting, see you 'round." He grinned and strode off towards the repository. Quote
