The dwarf slammed his final swig on the counter throwing his head back in laughter, his breath heavy and rank with ale. The potly dwarf swiveled on his seat and jumped down, swinging his mug as he paraded around the hall, his eye catching the quest board. A sane thought ran through his gargled mind to sign up for something. He signs under Quest 132: The Clans Under the Mountain his name tilting sprawling down into some of the other names on the sheet. Content with himself he jaunts out of the hall.

"Not certain, but he does have some experience with undead, and he used to be a paladin, emphasis on 'used', it's a painful subject and I really wouldn't discuss it with him unless it was necessary."

"How so? I mean, I'd rather get Pretzel, since I know we can at least trust him somewhat.., where's he at?"

"The Eubric Cemetery, he's the pastor. That's how he has experience with undead, and believe me, I trust him completely. Also I'd like to bring up a certain slightly unconnected point."

He opened the door and pointed toward the questboard.

"You see the notice over there? The one for the dwarven quest? Our current female topic of conversation has signed up for it."

Karie tapped the wood on the door, thinking her options through.

"I don't know... we don't know if he'll even agree to assist us. Pretzel, 100% will. I say we wait. However, if you want to speak to him, be my guest. From this point on, me and you need to make sure Pretzel knows about Calamity."

Karie openend the broom closet door and stepped out.

"For the time being, we need to make sure she doesn't commit anymore sacrifices. If you hear of any from her, keep a mental note.

I think we've met before... haven't we? I don't remember your name though, so just in case, my name is Karie."

"You do that, but I still think that McCreary would help us, I'll have a talk with him as soon as possible."

"If it ever comes to it, then I swear she'll feel my blade once for all those she has killed. And yes, we have met before, my name is Throlar Wineghilm."

Keliim walks into the Hall looks around, seems quiet. He heads to the quest board to check if he has been accepted to any of the quests.

Seeing that he hasn´t, he turns and starts heading towards the bar but then notices that there is still and open quest: Quest#132: The Clans Under the Mountain

The big man reads it through and thinks to himself. "Sounds intresting, hmm I can be discrete." The he sees who has given the assignment, "The Bonapartes, this could be an opportunity to get close and find out more about the medallion and were my fathers armor and weapons have ended up"

With that Keliim writtes down his name Keliim for Quest #132.

Then he heads for the bar and greets Scheherazade a good evening, chats with her and orders a mead or two.

Althior walks trough the doors of the hall, Finnegan in step behind him. He makes his way up the stairs to his usual spot in the bar. He grabs himself a bowl of hot soup as he sits in the corner. Leaning his head against the cold wall, he hears Scheherazade's constant blabbering. He sighed heavily, as if the noise of the hall was a soothing lullaby. It is not until he hears it the phrase "Mindflayer" that he opens his eyes. Had to let the Veterans in on this, didn't they? He sits forward, placing his head in his hands. Damn secret was going to spread like wildfire now.

He lifts himself up, surveying the hall. Place looked quiet, he thought. Not a bad thing, no. Less chance for him being bothered, right? He looks to Finnegan. "Did we really leave the Lotus for this place? I guess it's free, but there could still be some flavor in this soup. Hel, there could be flavor in this hall too," he says, under his breath,

"It doesn't seem too bad to me. I mean, I like her skull..." He gestures over to Calamity. Althior smirks.

Calamity lifts up her head from passively observing the quaint general goings on of Heroica Hall. The reason for the disturbance is a man dressed in black (Calamity's Favorite). The young woman smiles and makes sure her hair is right real quick, she could always tell when there was someone with a whole lot of dark power around. She walked up to Althior, and completely ignoring Finnegan, introduces herself.

"Hey, I'm Calamity. Are you with Heroica?"

When Keliim is finished chatting he thanks her for the stories and intresting rumors. And then he walks over to one of the corner tables, and sit down in a chair so his back is against the wall. This way he can see the whole hall and know what is going on, Keliim tilts the chair against the wall that he gets more room for his tall legs. Keliim thinks as he sits there: "Somehow very intresting that there has been seen a ship with Black sails outside Bonaparte and pirate thugs who has a golden medallion with the Bonaparte emblem!"

Keliim closes his eyes and rests for awhile.

"Hey, I'm Calamity. Are you with Heroica?"

Althior looks up to the girl. "Althior," he says, simply. What was that about nobody bothering him again? "I wouldn't necessarily say I am with Heroica. Hel, there's more people here who want me gone than who want me to stay..." He inspects the girl, inquisitively. "... though I'm guessing you don't know much about that. You look like one of the new recruits. Seems like we have more and more of them trickling in these days,"

"Alright, Throlar, I gotta go, but remember, first chance you get, talk to Monk Pretzel." Karie waved Throlar off before making her way to the quest board. Looking it over and after tapping the pen on the board for a couple of seconds, Karie signs up for the Fields of Glory. She wasn't sure when the Hinckwells would need work, but being out and about would be better than sitting around the hall.

Calamity shrugs, as if it can't be helped: "The live of a visionary must be a lonely one, people often just don't understand, you know. Your floaty friend, who was he?"

Althior chuckles. "Seems like someone finally understands," He looks to Finnegan. "Who, Finnegan? He's just, well..."

"A helpful hand," He says, blatantly giving a look to Althior.

"Let's just go with that." He says, half-heartedly, "Who would your decomposing friend be?" He looks to the skull.

"It sounds like he is very helpful. Does he carry your things? This is, or was, Yorick. I'm not sure why everyone here seems so interested in him. He wasn't interesting, really. Yorick was a farmer. He farmed corn."

"He's less helpful than he looks. Mostly he just criticizes me..." Finnegan sighs "He doesn't sound like an interesting person. Being mounted on that staff seems like the best thing that ever happened to him,"

He leans back in his chair. "So what brings you to Eubric? Seems like you had fun with people like Yorick."

"Oh, you know. Someone made a mistake during a ritual a week or two back. Long story short, the demon got loose, almost everyone got killed. I managed to get away, and I was left without my friends. So I did a quick magical search, with keywords 'killing' and '101 demon interaction', and here I am! Heroica does seem like a marvelous place.'"

Althior laughs. "It is if you're here for Demons and Killing. Trust me, I've done my fair share of both. The Archdemon Abraxas almost killed me a few years back. Just got back from a nice meeting with him too. Eubrics gotta be the demon hotspot of the world, I'll tell you,"
