"Too long! I've, well, been lurking here. I needed to clear my head after nearly butchering an entire village in my last fiasco of an outing. And you? What's this about your last visit?"

The Munchkin started. He had been so happy to see the Dragoon again, that he had missed what he'd said. "Your...last visit?"

"I don't know if word has circulated around the Hall yet, but I've left Heroica. It started when my birth mother revealed herself to me, and invited me to visit her and my half-brother Noel. Helping my cousins Lilly and Bluto alongside Althior and Alexis helped me realize how important family is to me--and how much I was going to have to neglect Miirym if I wanted to keep adventuring. They need me more than than the world does right now--Miirym in particular. Things are better than they were a few months ago, but it's all a work in progress--as I'm sure you know yourself," he says, nodding to Arx.

"Respectable creatures. Typically they have some other reason beyond primal urges and just general hostility for doing what they-"

Just then, a dragon perches itself behind the elf I was speaking to.

"Hello there, friend. I wonder where your dragoon is-"

I notice a familiar face as I scan the hall.

"I don't suppose you recognize me, Arthur?"

"...Sorrow? Is that you? Aetherius, you've certainly changed. Merlyn and Morgan were telling me a story about you just the other day, something about turning each other into frogs? I can barely keep up with those two sometimes." He shakes his head wistfully, then sobers. "How's Karie? Haven't seen her since before the wedding...still hate that I had to miss that."

Vindsval looks at the two dragons and their partners in the room. Even at this tiny size they hold a glimmer of the majesty they will one day possess. He knows not whether to be proud of his accomplishment or ashamed of his part in removing one of the great ancients. He pulls his cape over his shining Lethauros Mail. It would not do to anger these small ones. Dragons, it would appear have long memories. He moves to the newcomer, this Sir Author, in hopes of introducing himself to this obviously seasoned Fighter.

He pushes himself gently into the crowd around the man, careful not to crush anyone. He extended his massive taloned hand to the man. Greetings I am Vindsval, Called the Half-born.

Arthur reaches out to shake the large creature's hand, but before he can he is interrupted by a tone as a pink envelope bursts into existence in mid-air. By the time he has grabbed it, the half-giant has already turned away to argue some more with Lind. Arthur shrugs, scribbles out a reply, and sends the message back on its way.

Annienal puts her hand slowly out to the golden dragon, trying to be patient with it and hoping it will climb onto her. She tries to be calm around it, despite her obvious joy.

"I find them rather fascinating. I always wondered what it'd be like to be one... the ability to fly around the world without so much as a care... not much responsibility... I mean, um, still, it's just a fantasy." Annienal blushes, seemingly caught in a moment of daydreaming. She looks over to the continuing moral crusader Lind and his debate with Vind.

Miirym cocks her head, then crawls around the other side of Annienal's head to the table, before gingerly reaching a claw out to rest on the Mystic Knight's hand. She blinks in her reptilian way, enjoying for the moment the reverence with which she acted and spoke towards the dragon.

"Yes, I'm carrying the mantle of a Necromancer now. I've more or less settled all of my accounts in life. And yes, I was involved in that debacle... We had to fight some one-armed gangsters to get the frog boy back. And speaking of the Ziegfried kids for me... Tell Noel Sorrow says "hi."

Karie? I saw her at her wedding last. It was a great ceremony. She got so tipsy that Masson practically had to carry her home, if memory serves... She went off to kill The Regret, and haven't seen her since. I think she's in the fields right about now.

Part of me thinks we'll be seeing her with a baby bump when she comes back from the hunting trip."

I chuckle.

My apologies, but it was hard for anyone to concentrate with the recruiter in full force. Again, I am Vindsval. May the Wanderer guide your path. It is a pleasure. He sits down his drink on the closet table, and extends his hand once again.

Having overheard Arthur talking about how he was leaving Heroica Namyrra sought him out.

"Since you're leaving.. does that mean you'll be willing to let go of some of your equipment? Like, say, those overkill gloves, or those speed reading lenses?"

The Munchkin frowned. "Somebody says they're leaving, and the emotion of the moment is lost up in the crowd of people trying to buy up their gear...

That being said, since the moment's been lost, I don't suppose you might be thinking of selling that Trickster's Mask of the Elf? Or those Stag Antlers?"

"Karie? So that was her name! I, um, think I know who you're talking about. The last time, and I guess by definition the first time I met her, she seemed a little... grumpy. She seemed to be rather far into her pregnancy, although I wasn't entirely sure." Annienal muses.

Annienal manages to take her one gauntlet off in an attempt to touch and potentially pet the dragon in front of her, bringing it slowly to dragon to see.

"H-hello there!" Annienal felt awkward not knowing the dragons name, but she was rather elated to at least get this close to a young dragon.

"Don't we all. Don't we all... Although no responsiblity is something of a stretch. Some say that it's the dragons that help guide the natural order of things. Not sure if I agree, but it's not too crazy. Their ancestry and their knowledge isn't an easy burden to bear."

Arthur nods in silent contemplation of this new information. Miirym, meanwhile, beams at Sorrow's words about the magnitude of the importance of her race, ruffling her golden scales in a shimmering cascade of light. She at first appears indifferent to Annienal's attempt to touch her, but then soon turns and unfurls her wings aggressively, her mouth opened in warning. The more observant in the room would note her gaze fixed not on the Elf but on the half-giant Witch behind her extending an enormous hand to Arthur, but the mistake was easy to make.

Arthur, however did not let his partner's distress slip his attention.

"It's all right, Miirym." He slowly shakes Vindsval's hand. "Arthur. Arthur Ziegfried, former Hero of Heroica."

Warlen brings out his Scrolls and spell book and begins comparing them.

"Says here that Lens of Scroll Reading can make scroll casting a blast. I wonder where I could get one..."

Having overheard Arthur talking about how he was leaving Heroica Namyrra sought him out.

"Since you're leaving.. does that mean you'll be willing to let go of some of your equipment? Like, say, those overkill gloves, or those speed reading lenses?"

Arthur pauses a moment, considering. "Why not? I won't be using either of those items any time soon. Why not give them a good home with someone who could make better use of them than I?" He rummages around for his Overkill Gloves to give toNamyrra, but pauses. "Although...I don't think it'd be too much to ask that you send me a bit of cash from time to time. You'd be surprised how much differently gold moves outside the life of a Hero." He slaps a palm to his forehead in self-exasperation. "That's right, I did lend them to Skrall, didn't I? I'll write you a note, explaining that he should give them to you once he's back from the Fields."

He quickly scribbles a letter onto a new sheet of pink parchment and hands it to the Fenarian, then digs through his new pack for the aforementioned Lens. "I know that Lens at least is in here...swear all this stuff was easier to manage as a Hero.." he mutters. Finally growling in exasperation, he clears a space on the table and upends the whole bag, spilling its contents across the surface. "Sorry about that," he says, extracting the Lens from the pile. "Now, how much were you offering for it? It cost me a fair chunk of change back in the day, so I don't think 150 gold would be unfair for it," he says, holding it up where the interested buyers could see.

"There had been rumors, but I'd hoped that they were just that. But, if you've found a family for yourself, I'm happy for you."

Arthur frowns at Lind. "I'd much rather sell my equipment to Heroes who can actually use it. And as for this mask..." he looks at the off face covering. "I'm actually going to hang onto it for now. Reminder of the friend who sold it to me." He smiles, remembering fondly his memories of one of the first Heroes to welcome him to the Hall.

"It's a jam yesterday and tomorrow situation with the Antlers, actually - I was a Black Knight, and will be a Black Knight again, and then Dragoon, later on. I've got my shield with a Mystic Knight getting all magicked up, so I'm working as an Assassin, for the moment - I made a bit of a stupid mistake by spending too much time running about the Fields - not very much loot lying round over-run farms." I great you well Arthur .. Ziedgfried you say? A prestigious meeting indeed.

Vindsval catches the glimpse towards the dragon, nods to the creature as well.

I meet your partner in peace Flame Dancer, I give my respect to you as well. He touches his first two fingers to his forehead in greeting to the dragon.

He turns his attention back to the Dragoon, and his face breaks out in an enormous smile as the man empties his entire pack of belonging onto the table.

It would seem you could give the Merchants a true run for their money. You have quite the extensive collect.....

His voice trails off as he notices the scrolls. He gingerly picks up one in particular The SCROLL OF POSIONING.

I have read of these during my training, I had not known any existed. If you are indeed parting with these items, what would you take in exchange for this? And for all of the other scrolls a well?

"Quite right," I agree with Throlar, turning my back on Lind. "Yes, I am Monk Pretzel. What can I do for you?"

I hold out my hand to the dwarf.

"Throlar Wineghilm." he said taking the Monk's hand in his, "I have a message from Karie Alderflask for you, about a new member of Heroica."

"I don't have a clue. I don't think I've seen him around here ever before."

"He's called Lind Whisperer, I think he's a munchkin." Edited by Lord Duvors

"Give you 151 for it?"

"So you still have all those scrolls from back in the day, huh?" I notice, coming over. "I did not know Dragoons could make use of them. I suppose once a mage, always a mage."

I chuckle nervously.

Greetings Master Regulus. A zap-tap badge. How much would you like for this?

"Um... sorry..." She says to it, still admiring the creature, although wary of it's potential wrath.

I have read of these during my training, I had not known any existed. If you are indeed parting with these items, what would you take in exchange for this? And for all of the other scrolls a well?

Arthur notes a sickly green hood and a gem of wind poking out of Vindsval's pack. "I'd be happy to trade that Sapphire for the scroll, if you're interested. From the looks of that hood, you could certainly make good use of it."

Warlen holds up all his remaining gold.

"Give you 151 for it?"

"So you still have all those scrolls from back in the day, huh?" I notice, coming over. "I did not know Dragoons could make use of them. I suppose once a mage, always a mage."

I chuckle nervously.

Realizing that more than a few Heroes were interested in his wares, the Dragoon begins to sort out his inventory on the table a little more. Even as he does so, several more pink envelopes burst into existence, the former mage having to take a moment to read through all of them before he can continue. "Well, these two," he says, setting aside the Scroll of Fear and Scroll of Sloth, "seem to be worth 300 gold together. I'd let go of the others for a smaller amount, but I think I'll hold onto the Scroll of Armor Sundering."

OOC: The Lens, Duke's armor, one Healing Staff, and all six remaining Scrolls have already been claimed by Pala for 1,000 gold plus his Bright Polish and Level-up Mushroom.

Nerwen notices Arthur's gear strewn on a table.

She wanders across and picks up a small metal disc with a lightning bolt on it.

Greetings Master Regulus. A zap-tap badge. How much would you like for this?

"Nerwen! Good to see you again. Well, I paid 75 gold for it in the first place, so I'd happily accept the same in return."

Annienal quickly moves her hand away from the dragon before gently putting it back down on the table.

"Um... sorry..." She says to it, still admiring the creature, although wary of it's potential wrath.

Miirym swiftly takes wing, circling above a few times before settling down on Arthur's table, wings unfurled in a protective hawk-like stance just as her Dragoon lays out his Weatherfax Broom and his copy of Begone With the Winds, indicating that both are for sale.

"<There is another of my kind here,>" she says, still speaking the language of Dragons. "<I can feel it.>"

Arthur thinks back a little. "That'd be Arx, most likely. Thormanil's partner. I don't believe you've met." Arthur returns his attention to his fellow Dragoon. "How is Arx, anyway? Must be rather large and experienced by now, no?"

A fair trade indeed.

Vindsval hands the Sapphire to the Arthur. and takes the Scroll of Poisoning in Return.

He then Pats Verkenner, his Broomstick, and looks at the Weatherfax broom.

I would certainly covet that piece. It would be an investment in the future, and I fear it is beyond my means, but what would take for the broom and book?

"Unless any other heroes are interested in the Stag Antlers-" The Munchkin paused a moment, to see if anyone would speak up. "How much would they, Silvania's Cowl, the Duke's Coat-of-Arms, and the Cloak of Deception individually cost?"

"You are still buying those Bright Polishes, aren't you? I have a proposal to make:

"What if I were to give you 1000 gold, the Bright Polish, and a Level-Up Mushroom (whatever that means)for your remaining Scrolls, that Lens you had, the Duke's Armour, and the Haling Stuff I've been pestering you about since...well...forever.

"I mean, you can't use the Healing Staff as a Dragoon anyway, can you?"
