Calamity looks up from her table, where she has been amassing all the necessary ingredients to summon a minor demon, a star surrounded by a circle made out of twigs gathered under a moonless night, salt, sulphur, the carcass of a small animal, blood from a variety of sources and about a dozen other questionable items. Humming a tune, she walks over to the questing board, where there's some activity.

"New quest, huh, lovely." She signs up for quest 140. "Now if only I could find some volunteers for my ritual summoning..."

The mage makes her way over to where Keliim is chatting with a couple of others. "Hey Keliim, interested in helping out with something real quick? Your friends could help, too."

In the meanwhile:

Keliim looks behind him and see the blackdressed lass from the previous quest.

"I am listening!" He drinks from his mug.

Calamity grins wickedly and starts rattling off what she wants done. "Alright, so I'm going to summon a tiny little demon, but as you know, demons are typically confused or angry and hungry when first summoned, so a proper summoning includes magical wards and stuff to make sure the summoner doesn't die. Anyone can summon a powerful demon with the right ritual, controlling and living to tell about it are the hard parts. In any case, I feel that I've gotten stronger after our adventure in the falcon's playground, but I'm hesitant of trying to do the controlling, warding and summoning all by myself. If you could read the words, I make sure we stay safe."

Keliim leans back at the, tavern counter, drinks from his mug of mead again and twitch one eye.

"Summon a deamon! Thou seem not habt get enough of them yet, habt thy?"

The big man pokes his elbow lightly in the side of Boris and bends over a bit to his side and says

"What do thou think ´bout this lassys little offer?"

"Calamity lass, do thou think thou be strong enough to control anything like that! And where didst thou plan to do this?

[Scubacarrot]

"If I couldn't do it, I wouldn't be going through all this trouble. Right over at that table, I've made my preparations. It's completely safe, I promise" Calamity points at her table, which has been converted to a place of summoning. The mage skillfully dodges one of Scheherazade's dark looks.

Keliim looks at the table she was pointing at and asks with a smile,

"Thou gonna doth it here!"

The big man gets up from his seat and winks at the others around them and laughs a bit,

"Alright, lets lit th' wee lady amuse us." He turns to Scheherazade "I know she hath gauld coin tae pay wi' if she ruins thy lovely tavern."

He turns back to Calamity, lifts his axe on his shoulder and says

"Leid th' way, lassie! And thou read the word,thy art after all a mage and the deamon wordshipper. Me and my lit'le friend here willt keep us safe." He taps on his axe and smiles.

Hoke and Torc land of the Eubric docks they left from with a bit more gold and loot.

"I can manage from here. Go explore," Hoke tells the brown dragon.

Torc once again takes off and heads to the fields and forest just outside the city. Hoke heads towards the Hall for a meal, a quick rest, and perhaps see a friend of two. He enters the Hall and drops his gear off at his favorite spot by the hearth. He sees a few quests up on the boards and signs up for them both, in case he is not selected for the first one. He also tacks up a note, looking to buy a few items:

He orders some food and drink from the bar and makes his way back to the big chair, sits, and closes his eyes for a bit of rest while he waits on the food.

Hoke signs up for Quest #139 & #140.

Annienal puts down her book on Changelings and notices another dragon fly out of the hall.

"Where does everyone get their dragons around here?" She muses before opening her notebook and scribbles some words down.

Thalion signs up for Quest #139 and #140 and heads out to Marketplace.

Hoke grabs Thalion before he exits the Hall.

"Do you think you could take care of this for me?"

Hoke hands Thalion the Orb (Zoot's Order), a Diamond, an Amethyst, and an Opal for a Level 40 weapon with those gems imbued and 450 gold.

Mortimer returns to the hall, glancing around to try to spy familiar faces. He heads over to the questboard-- and his eye widens in surprise as he notices that the Crimson Crown posted a quest. He hastily signs up, curious about the order he has run into twice now-- not sure of their motives and not sure if he can trust their quest.

Guts strolls in, and smirks as he signs up for Quest 139. "It's been too long since my last encounter with the great Guffington. Let's see what trouble he's in this time."

I return to the Hall, smell of the sea still in my nostrils. Seeing news quests up, I quickly go and sign up for 139.

Hybros briefly stops in the Hall to sign up for Quest #139: Around the World. The Great Guffington needed help, and surely the imp would be there. He would also be able to send word to Vincent Legonardo in Xu, who had helped Hybros with the drill that would eventually lead him to his people.

He eyed the other quest post suspiciously. The Crimson Crown had never been completely disagreeable, but definitely untrustworthy. He gave Em a meaningful look before departing.

Hey, Thalion, I think I heard something about you offering a Marketplace discount? Do you think you could switch my Darksteel bow's amethyst into my crossbow? Maybe upgrade the crossbow a bit too, I should have enough.

Thalion pauses, awaiting Dyric's response and in the meantime turn to Hybros, "Hybros, please take this. Maybe you will find it as useful as I did." He smiled and handed the Marauder's Mantle to the imp.

Hoke watches as the U'Kin pins the notice to the Questboard. After he leaves, Hoke checks the posting and see he has been selected. He hurries off to the Marketplace to collect his item from Thalion and perhaps make a few more purchases.

Keliim sees the U´kin U´or walk in through the door and pin a not to the board. He waves at him and goes down to meet him, the big man could sence already that he had not been picked for the trip. But it wasn´t a too big of a surprise. When he gets down to the U´kin he greets him,

"Hello U´or, lang time nae seen, how hae thou bin? I knew thou be in a hurry, Plannin' th' trip an' all. But tak' caur ay thyself an' send mah greatest regards tae th' great Guffington!

"And also to master Elba and the good ol`Doc."

Then he signs up for Quest 140 then returns up the stairs and sits down next to Boris, to drink his mead. And looks on to see how the "emo" lassie prepares her thing!

Thalion walks into the Hall and hands Hoke back his equipment. He glances at the quest board, and seeing he wasn't chosen, he turns around and heads back toward Marketplace. (Still so many things to do...)
