Hoke bumps into Thalion on this way to look for him and accepts his items back.

"Many thanks to you Thalion."

Hoke continues out the door towards the Marketplace and bumps into a stout but short figure.

"Sir Ablesword?" the figure asks from underneath its hood with only a smoking pipe visible.

"Aye?"

The figure pulls back his hood and reveals a toothy grin underneath a bulbous nose and bristly beard.

"Blix! What are you doing in Eubric?"

"The same as you I guess. Come to join Heroica."

"Well then," exclaims the dragoon as he unslings his pack,"Here are a few items for you to borrow. Let me see your pack."

The dragoon stuffs an assortment of items into the dwarf's pack.

"Best of luck to you! I would stay and catch up, but I have another adventure waiting."

With that Hoke made his way to the Marketplace and to find Torc.

"Always was a nice fellow. Glad he turned out this way," the dwarf remarked to himself as he entered Heroica Hall for the first time.

"Crimson Crown, eh? Well, anything to get a start I guess."

Blix signs up for Quest #140.

Matthias falls off his chair again, waking himself up and completely destroying the Itsy-Bitsy Spider's nearly complete work of art, which the tiny arachnid had been spinning across the druid's top hat and cannon while Matthias slept. Shaking himself, he wanders to the quest board and almost misses his name, but it catches his eyes at the last second. Uncertain of how long he's slept, he runs back to his corner table, grabs his equipment, and stumbles out the door.

Purpearl's attention was drawn to the well dressed U'kin as he fiddles with the questboard. Realising that she was chosen for the quest, the mystic knight steps out of the Hall once again, looking refreshed.

"Master Keelim, I am sorry that you will not be able to accompany us on our newest journey! I was looking forward to catching up with you was something I was looking forward to." The U'Kin glances at the door. "But I am afraid I must run - I am always on a tight schedule. I will try to see you upon our return!" The U'Kin hastens out of the Hall.

Thalion pauses, awaiting Dyric's response and in the meantime turn to Hybros, "Hybros, please take this. Maybe you will find it as useful as I did." He smiled and handed the Marauder's Mantle to the imp.

"Oh, er, heheh, thank you Thalion. I was not expecting such a gift, but I am sure I will make good use of it." Hybros looked around, and noticed several heroes depart for a new quest. Realizing that his name was also chosen, the imp prepares to leave. "You take of yourself. I hope we will see each other again soon."

Hybros tugged on Em's sleeve on the way out. "You be careful too, eheh. I do not know what the Crimson Crown wants, but always be on your guard for their trickery. They are not to be trusted."

With that, he heads for Guffington Manor.

"Aye," Mortimer mutters, scowling. "I don't trust them. That's why I signed up. Travel safe, Hybros."

Blix makes his way into the Hall and sits at a small empty table. He waves to the wait staff and orders some food and a thick mead to wash it down. He rustles through his pack and examines each item within, smiling with gratitude.

"Leid th' way, lassie! And thou read the word, thy art after all a mage and the deamon wordshipper. Me and my lit'le friend here willt keep us safe." He taps on his axe and smiles.

"I'll just warn you that I'd be slightly annoyed if you'd cleave the head of my project in two, Keliim."

Calamity leads Keliim back to her table and handles some potions, sprinkles some chemicals around her symbols on the table. When she judges it ready, she hands the barbarian a scroll, it seems like a ripped page from a book, and points out a fragment for him to read out.

The mage herself closes her eyes, and some power manifests, she is ready for the summoning. Keliim starts reading the words as instructed, and when he says the final phrase, the hall is filled with a brilliant flash of light. When the heroes can see again, the table Calamity chose for her summoning is on fire, and a strange, skeletal creature stands upon it.

"Right... That's... Something... It's... not really what I wanted..." She says, more for her own benefit than Keliim's. "I tried to summon an Imp, they're usually magically weak, and talkative, relatively. This.. I have no idea."

The creature seems disorientated, it stands on the table and doesn't move for a while. When it seems to understand that is alive, it starts trashing around, but it can't seem to move a whole lot. Calamity tries to get it's attention, but the only result is it doubling it's efforts to try and get to her.

"I don't think we can talk to it. It's feral. I wonder what it is though..." She says a few magic words, and the creature vanishes in a puff of smoke, leaving only a blackened, smouldering table behind. She looks at Keliim.

"Well, that was fun, thanks for the help!" Just then she notices she is chosen for the quest, and hurries out the hall to make some preparations.

Erik arrives back at the hall in time to see what can only be some kind of demon, standing on top of the burning wreck of a table. He grabs his axe, but the monster vanishes before he has a chance to act. The shaman cautiously extends his magic senses to discover the demon was banished by the young redhaired mage walking out the door.

"Wow, Heroes these days. When I first joined up, there was hardly anyone capable of getting rid of a demon as easily as that. That looked like it was only a WP: 3 staff, yet she got rid of that thing as effortlessly as if she'd been the one to summon it."

He mumbles, peering at the blackened table.

After he had finished reading there is a flash of light that blind him for a moment. When he starts seeing better again, there is a ugly skeleton creature with horns standing on the table.

The big man raises his axe and shouts at Calamity, to get back but to his dismay it vanishes after Calamity speaks some words to it.

"Darn, An' I thooght I wouds get tae dae some deamon cleaving!"

"Well, that was fun, thanks for the help!" Just then she notices she is chosen for the quest, and hurries out the hall to make some preparations.

"Thy be welcome. From the looks of it we be going on the same quest, I will see thy there!"

Calamity walks out from the hall but Keliim gets back to the tavern counter and drinks the mead he had left. And comments to Boris and the axeswinging shaman:

"Didn´t hink 'at lassie hud it in 'er. Good 'at we be gonnae on th' sam quest, habt tae keep an close ey oan 'er."

Then he gets up, finishes the mug and says to Boris, "Farewelth again me friend, until next time. What bist thy plans now?"

Ezeran strides through the door of Heroica hall, he is greeted with astonishment and silence as his deamonic symbiont snarls from his belly. Sighing heavily he tips his hat and sighs: "Haven't you people ever seen a deamonic symbiont before? He's just hungry, unless you have stray goats wandering about this locale he will stay put. Now say here: do anyone need a bit of assistance."

Signing up for "Fields of glory" or any other quest.

Ezeran approaches Torald with a nodding gesture and with a goblet of mead. "I am not familiar with your customs barbarian but with risk of being blunt: do you want to join me and try to find others that will hunt for glory out innthe fields?" Ezerans deamonic symbiont snarls in approval.

"A noble goal as any I suppose, the wise shamans also finds answers through intoxication. We should try to mingle around some more and fetch som more drinks!" Ezeran shoves some mead into the mouth of his deamonic symbiont. The symbiont burps in response.

The demonic symbiont snarls for an instant but then closes its mouth and begins to snore, it has fallen asleep.

"That is probably true, but even head aches can provide rare insights, or curious hindsights. Is that blade meant to be so jagged?" Points at blade.

Yeah, I suppose so... No, when it was made for me dad, it was not jagged. He fought and slayed many opponents, and over time the blade just couldn't hold up. But it still works alright. Or I hope it does.

Anyway, *points at hat*, nice hat. Love the stars on it.

Boris sips from his wine glass still sitting at the bar observing the antics of the new heroes.

"It's been awhile since we saw some new quests much less new faces, you gentlemen from around here?"

"Howdy to you, Boris, and no, I'm not from around here *burp softly* My dad was though. Only thing he left me was this thing he called a sword. What about you?"
