"It's a bit run down, sure, but I think I could find someone to organize the match if you can find someone to duel with."

Returns to the hall and approaches Boris while scrathing his head "We went ahead to the arena but it seemed closed. Are you still interested in finding someone to organise a duel for me and that aledrinking barbarian?"

"Hmmm, could of sworn I saw someone in there, perhaps not."

OoC: I'm one of the GM's who run arena bouts, but K-Nut apparently still has it closed. Maybe some other time.

"Maybe its for the best, some of us need some sobering up before such a challenge." Points discreetly toward a certain aleinfested barbarian.

"hmm?" Torald scratches his head. "Talking 'bout me?" Torald sits down at a table, his head drops and soon he is asleep.

Ezeran wraps Toralds shoulders in a nearby table cloth and heads to the bar to aquire some more drinks.

Once again, the doors of Heroica Hall swing open, as a young looking girl walks in. She has a rough look on her face; as if she had seen her fair share of conflict. As she makes her way up the stairs, she looks as though she is limping. However, the only noticeable scar is on her left wing, and it is indeed noticeable. She takes a seat alone at the bar. "Water, please," She enjoyed all natural occurences of nature, even the little ones. Perhaps it was because it reminded her of home.

Ezeran walks up to the seat next to the girl and bows and then tips his hat. "The world is a though place for all of us and you seem to have caught more than a fair bit of it. Let me introduce myself. I am Ezeran Yavarr and though I look fiendish..." *points att the symbiont* "I'm no less decent then anyone else in here. I can lend you my ears if you want to ease your mind? Or maybe you like a piece of pork pie?" The demonic symbiont grumbles a bit in his sleep at the mention of pork pie.

Kheyli looks to the mage. "Who, me? It's nothing, really. It's just a scratch. Nothing to work yourself up about..." She trails off, thinking of her scars, before her gaze drifts toward the symbiont. "That's, well... an interesting thing you've got there, Ez. Can't say I've seen anything like it before"

"I'll just stick with water, thanks," this last statement came off more abrasive than she had hoped. It had been a long journey from home, and she just needed something simple. Pork Pie did not sound that appetizing, either, if she had to be honest with herself.

"Well you sure seem like a person that can take care off yourself though I must say I haven't come around many barbarians of your fair kind. Are you from far away?" The symbiont suddenly wakes and yawns, Ezeran hastily shoves the left over pieces of pork pie into its mouth. "No there aren't many demonic symbionts out in the realms, mine is the only one I know of. It's a gift from my mother who bargained with my destiny long before I came in to existence. She could have left me with some family heirloom or something instead..." Ezeran looks down at the demonic symbiont and contemplated on his mothers destiny for just a moment before looking up again. "I would be glad to offer you something else besides pork pie but the bread seems more lika ammunition or some kind of building material and the chicken, well, it's both pink and burnt at the same time. How about some lemonade? You can't go wrong with lemonade!"

"Far away? You could say that... I was a hunter back where I came from, but I found out I was lacking the barbaric nature required when I was in the field. It wasn't pretty... I figured that if i was in a new place, I could start fresh. Hunting is all I know, so I'm hoping this will let me further those skills a bit. I'm anything but a hero, but maybe I could help, you know?"

"That does sound rather unpleasant," she grimaces as she hears it yawn. "I never had to deal with much magic and demons where I came from. Guess I'm lucky, especially hearing about the problems in this town..."

"A winged barbarian with the cunning of a hunter, that sure seems like a good combination for an aspiring hero. Who qualifies as a hero anyway? My biggest success was to kill some insects the size of toads in an intoxicated farmers barn. And that was in Mermont." Ezeran smiles and adds "Heroes need friends as much as anyone else if not more, right?"

The wings aren't of that much use now, she thinks. Maybe that was a fact to leave to herself, at least for now. "I mean, I guess we're qualified, right? We're here, aren't we?" she hesitates. "I... I suppose so." a slight smirk appears on her face. "I'm Kheyli. I my native tongue, it translates to Songbird."

Ezeran notes the flickering confidence in the small barbarian, he responds with all the empowering body language he can muster. "We are as qualified as we'll ever be, we just need som experience. All in all it's a pleasure to know you Kheyli. My name has a double meaning: Ezeran is loosely translated from a demonic tounge as "cunning rebel" and Yavarr translates to "Steadfast", my fathers family name.

Kheyli raises an eyebrow, a bit taken aback by the mage's empowerment. "Steadfast Cunning Rebel... Doesn't make all that much sense when you put it all together," she smirks.

"No it don't, but my mother and fathers love never made much sense either. They are however long gone from this realm and all that remains is my curious existence and it makes little sense even to great scholars." Ezeran manages a faint smile in spite of the memories that was swept up into his mind like debris from a ship on the shore. He would like to hear her sing but he will not make that request any time soon.

Kheyli pauses, not sure what to say next. She had never lost someone like that, but she somehow knew the pain Ezeran was going through; perhaps not unto the same level, but there was still pain. Her fear of him developing romantic feelings towards her was another thing entirely. "I... I'm sorry," is all she says, turning back to Scheherazade. "Another water, please,"

"Hmm? That would hardly be fair you know. You cast a few spells at me, and I'm, what, a frog? But sure, I'd love to duel. I promise to go easy on you".

And I know Fields of Glory is not really a place for lv.1 guys, but Torald signs-up for Fields of Glory.

FM Note: Sorry for missing this.

Current Sign-ups for Unlimited Quest: Fields of Glory

Ezeran Yavarr, Level 1 Mage (MysticModulus)

Torald Waruelf, Level 1 Barbarian (Alfadas)

The doors to Heroica Hall swing open. A cold gust of wind blows into the hall as a cloaked figure enters, shutting them behind him. Even with his thick cape, his identity is obvious. He looks around, searching the hall for familiar faces; a sigh of relief is exhaled as he sees nobody whom he previously knew. Entering, he signs his name for the Unlimited Quest: Fields of Glory before ordering a drink and sitting down, alone. A former Hero has returned.

"Now there's a big chap," Boris muses to himself, "maybe a whole two minutes, probably cold as an icicle though."

Hearing Ezeran's description of the chicken, the cleric ordered an entire bird hoping that it was more on the pink side than had been touted. The vampire smiled as the yeti seated himself. "Bit hot out for one of your kind to be wandering about, no?"

Avalanche looked up from his tankard as the vampire spoke. Shrugging, he replied, "Temperatures don't really bother me. As long as I'm not in the desert or in somewhere like Dastan, I'll be fine."

Kheyli glances over her shoulder to the Yeti. "Good to see I'm not the only outsider here," she mutters to herself. She smiles, before returning to her drink.

Avalanche heard the barbarian seated behind him mutter something in a low voice. He turned around, facing her, "If you've got somethin' to say, say it out loud."

Kheyli turns back around, clearly surprised at the Yetis response. "Nice ears," she responds, aptly. "Nothing to concern yourself with Master Yeti. Just talking to myself..."
