Torald answers: "True, true." He thinks for a moment and says: " I also sign up for quest #141". Then he orders another ale for everybody, to not look like a complete alcoholic, and continues drinking.

Kheyli smiles. "Don't be! Seriously, I took the injury as a higher message that I should broaden my horizons. And what better place to do it than Eubric, the Ever-Changing city in the center of the globe! I mean, just look at us: a fairy, a vampire, a yeti, and a demonic symby-whatever-you-call-it. All at the same table!" she grins.

Avalanche smiles at her enthusiasm. He then notices the new quest on the board and promptly signs up for Quest #141.

The black knight stepped up to the outskirts of the crowd clustered around the board.

"So...what's doing?"

Avalanche turns around from the questboard and sees a rather strange-looking winged fellow standing there, "I'm sorry? What do you mean?"

The black knight shrugged. "Just asking what's going on, what's news - the usuals."

The black knight shook hands with the Yeti. "Lind Whisperer."

He looked the board over. "Fields again...No. Bones...Well...It'd be an honest day's work, no bones about it, but...Errrrmmmm. I really wish he'd put down more details on these "hats". A good hat's always useful."

Thalion enters the Hall and glances at the quest board. He signs his name for quest #141, sits at one the free tables and taking out a bottle of Elvish wine pours himself a glass.

Lind nodded to the Yeti. "Pardon me one minute."

After serving himself a glass of water, he crossed back across the room and stood behind one of the chairs at the table where Thalion was sitting.

"This chair taken?"

Thalion looked up but did not recognize the hero before him. He gestured towards the free chair, "Not at all." He paused and added, "Care to join me for a glass of Elvish wine?"

"Thank you." Lind sat down across from the Mystic Knight.

"Thank you kindly for the offer, but...bad things happen when I drink anything stronger than mead." Lind held the glass of water up. "I stick to this stuff when I'm in the Hall."

He stuck his hand across the table. "Lind Whisperer. Black Knight. Although I suppose the wings make that somewhat obvious..."

Avalanche leans back and listens to the heroes' conversation. He remembers Thalion from a long-ago quest but decides not to say hello in case the stories of his... untimely departure from Heroica got around.

Thalion shakes Lind's hand, "Pleased to meet you, Thalion Dwinlas. Well, I wouldn't have guessed. I have to say the wings do not make it obvious at all; why do you think they would?"

"Oh, and don't worry about the wine, it is elvish, from my homeland; not only does it not intoxicate, it actually helps with the healing!" Thalion said with a smile, as he poured himself another glass.

"Pleasure to meet you as well. Oh, I don't know - there just aren't too many types of heroes running around out there with huge dark wings strapped to their backs."

"Hmmm..." Lind eyed the wine. "...I suppose I'll try half a glass, then, if you insist."

Torald looks at the "newcomers" and raises his pint: "I'm Torald, nice to meet you. Have a pint of ale on me". He, once again, continues drinking.

OoC: Im curently on a very time consuming internship... So I won't be very active. I will definitely be online once a day.

Lind raised his glass slightly, in acknowledgement of the barbarian's introduction, before finishing his water.

"Does anyone know how a person might send a Z-Mail, or who to talk to to send a Z-Mail? I'm afraid I haven't kept up with that particular bit of technology..."

Avalanche, hearing Lind's comment, makes his way over to his table and replies, "It's simple. Just write a letter, address it to someone and say 'I've got Z-Mail!' and then the letter will automatically be sent to the recipient."

Avalanche is slightly worried at Torald's continued insistence to buy everyone ale. He wonders exactly how drunk the barbarian is...

"More than you would think... For example, I dont know if you have met Hybros?"

"Hmmm..." Lind eyed the wine. "...I suppose I'll try half a glass, then, if you insist."

"Here." Thalion poured half a glass and offered it to Lind.

Thalion turned and nodded to the Torald, "Greetings Torald, I am Thalion Dwinlas, and thank you for the offer but drinks here are free for everyone."

Avalanche, hearing Lind's comment, makes his way over to his table and replies, "It's simple. Just write a letter, address it to someone and say 'I've got Z-Mail!' and then the letter will automatically be sent to the recipient.

"Hello Avalanche, long time no see!" Thalion greeted the yeti. "You should know better than to confuse our young friends, the Z-Mail is much more complicated than that." He turned towards Lind, "The Z-Mail system is a magical mail system in care of the Ziegfried family. But not just anyone can use it at any time, otherwise there will be chaos and unforeseen magical consequences. If you wish to know more, I would suggest seeking out and talking to Noel Ziegfried or checking the library archives."

"Hmm..." Lind thought a moment. "The name sound familiar, but I'm afraid I'm not acquainted with the gentleman."
"Here." Thalion poured half a glass and offered it to Lind.

"Cheers." Lind accepted the glass and began to sip the rich liquid. "A most excellent taste, thank you."

Avalanche nods to Thalion, "Aye, it's been a while. And as for confusing the young knight, I haven't set foot in Heroica for a year. A lot of things may have passed since then."

"Hmm. I suppose I should make a journey to the library at some point, then, as I don't believe I've ever talked with M. Ziegfried."

"Somehow I doubt that you'd get along with young Master Ziegfried," comments Avalanche with a slight grin.

Siercon signs up for quest 141.

The Hall doors slam open and Jinnipher strides in with her usual air of overflowing confidence. As she makes her way to the questboard she bumps into a being whose face is shaded. "Watch where you're going." She shakes her head and mutters to herself as she inspects the quest listings. "Heroes nowadays can't even keep track of where they're standing."

She signs up for Quest #141.
