Boris strolls up to Thalion's table, "Pardon me, but I couldn't help but notice the fine aroma of Elven wine permeating the room. I have a bottle of Mopagian Merlot on my person, simple but well aged, that I'd be most willing to contribute to the table if I might join you."

Avalanche rolls his eyes as Torald yet again mentions his darned ale, and decides it's about time to put this question to the barbarian, "Excuse me sir, but every time you have spoken since I entered the hall, you have mentioned your ale. You also seem obsessed with getting drunk as a skunk and getting everyone else drunk too. If you want to get drunk, go drink at some other table. We're talking."

"The table is as free as your blood is of your drink's effects, my good sir. I've found as of recent the taste of ale is too bland for my palate."

Lind edged slightly around the table, putting a few more inches between him and the vampire.

Careful not to bump into anyone, a rather nervous Terry walks into the hall. He was slightly more confident than before, having braved the Parlor... Emphasis on the "slightly" bit. He quickly noticed that his timid posture was making him at least six inches shorter than he already was, and draws himself up to his full six foot posture. Still didn't fix those noodly arms of his, though. He signs up for 141, and as he walks away from the questboard, unsure to sit....

"H-hello, fellows." says the boy, standing awkwardly in the middle of the room.

[K-Nut]

Kheyli looks up from the bar, raising an eyebrow at the timid mage. She nods towards the seat besides her. "Sit down before you pass out, would ya?" she smiles.

Terry sits.

"You're the ones drinking, not me." says the hero slash farmhand, trying not to let his eyes linger on the blue-haired woman's wings.

"I'm Terry. You are...?"

Karie quietly makes her way into the hall and up the stairs, two guitars and a trumpet strapped to her. Her once long flowing ponytail was replaced by a shorter cut which didn't even go down her shoulders. She made her way to her corner and sat down. Karie brushed her new suit off and began to set some of her things aside, inculding For Sale tags on the Skull Shield (SP:6; immunity to dark-elemental damage; suitable to Black Knights only; shield.), and Grumpy's Staff (WP: 10, staff). Grabbing her guitar, she begins to play a small tune as she waited for potential customers.

[K-Nut]

"Drinking water," Kheyli snaps. "Sorry..." she says, seeing the boy squirm. "I'm Kheyli. You new?"

"Err, no. One quest under my belt. Big underground sand maze. The scarabs were thiiiis long." says Terry, stretching his arms out.

"Sounds serious. Much more interesting than searching for bones,"

"You play good music, lady."

"You're a subtle guy, Terry," she laughs.

"There were bones. Of people who, uh... couldn't take on the scarabs, lemme put it that way." Terry squirms in his seat a little.

"How else do you say it? I'm no poet, though, you're right about that...."

Karie finishes a small bit of the song before turning to the man who looked like he came fresh from the farm. At least his manners were present. She reached towards the bar for a drink and when she'd gotten it tipped it towards the stranger with a grin.

"The compliment is appreciated." She nods towards her items for sale as she begins to

. "Anything interest you? Make me an offer."

"There were bones. Of people who, uh... couldn't take on the scarabs, lemme put it that way." Terry squirms in his seat a little.

"No bones about how difficult the scarabs were, eh?"

Terry cranes his neck to look at the items on display, bobbing his head to the tune.

"100 gold for the staff sound okay?"

"No bones about how difficult the scarabs were, eh?"

"We, uh, had to run from em actually..."

"That's well," she pauses, not sure how to respond, "interesting. At least things aren't dull around here," she smiles.

"I'd kinda prefer it to be, least that way nothin' would eat ya or anything like that."

"I'd kinda prefer it to be, least that way nothin' would eat ya or anything like that."

"Hey, you're still here, aren't you? That's gotta say something. You seem like you can take care of yourself out there,"

[Lind Whisperer]

"What she said." The black knight nodded, and pinned a piece of paper to the board.

Karie looks back at the staff for a second look and turns back to the stranger. "100? Really? For you? 90 gold."

"Really? Thanks!" says Terry, tossing over the gold.

"Hey, you're still here, aren't you? That's gotta say something. You seem like you can take care of yourself out there,"

"Well, 'gainst spiders, maybe. But anything else? Like a human? Nah... I thought heroing was all loot, swashbuckling and romance, and I don't think I've encountered much of the second and third."
