Lind Whisperer Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 A "heroes for hire" sort of thing. How convenient! I'm awful short on gold. Say, what would I have to do to get into this sort of business? The Black Knight crooked a finger towards the Quest Board. "Don't feel bad if you don't get in, kid - it's going to be a pretty tough job. Only proven heroes will likely be getting selected. And since the focus is to save one of the best-known cities in Olegia...well, there'll be a lot of top-level applicants. That's a pretty feather to have in your cap, if it goes well.Even I'm not fully sure if I'll get selected, and I've met Immortalis personally..." Quote

You might as well sign up, you know. Kid recognized what Hunkan seemed to be thinking. Worst that happens is us newbies stay penniless for a while longer. Best thing that happens involves gold, a reputation, and I suppose also saving Olegia. Kid stands up and heads to the saloon. I'll be getting a drink as well. Quote

He ponders upon whether or not he should sign up as well. Karie throws her arms into the air as the new guy simply walks out of her question. "Okay, nice knowing you. See ya around, or something." She directs her words to the empty chair across from her in a lower, snarky tone. She takes a small nip of Atramor's liquor before quickly backing off of it, the boozes strength causing her nose to itch. Quote

CMP Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Atramor frowned at the quest board. The trek in Abra continued to stick out in his mind...as did the words of the Oracle. Goetia... He quickly signed up for Quest #148, looking sideways at Karie as she did the same, wondering idly if she knew what she might be signing up for, before sitting back down. Quote
Palathadric Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Pretzel looks at the notice for Quest #148. It is tempting to learn the art of being a scholar. It certainly was something befitting his role of a priest. Pausing for just a moment, Pretzel signs up for Quest #148. Quote
BountyBeast Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Upon seeing people gather around the quest board, Hunkan finishes his drink and decides it's time he made his time in Heroica worth his while. He goes to the quest board and takes a look at the available assignments. He may not have a lot of experience in bodyguarding, but the reward looks promising and it's one of the only suitable jobs available. Hunkan Silvertoss signs up for Quest #147. Quote

They are usually reasonable beings, more reasonable than humans even. If a dragon is mad, it usually has a reason for it." Quote
