Asphalt Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Vindsval stands quietly as the divine tension in the room begins to dissipate. He notices Kiray purchasing a Mythril Shard from another member of the hall. Mistriss, Kiray wasn't it? I am also in possession of a Myrthil shard. I believe you need to combine a number of them to create a whole, if you would be interested in continuing to finish your set. Quote
Duvors Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 "I am." "Good, I notice you have a set of Armor of the Dark Arts for sale, I was wondering what might be an acceptable price, would 60 gold be too low a price?" He also notices the dwarf who approached the questboard. He is filled with a contained happiness and sense of security. He roars to him, "NOT. MASTER. LOOK. LIKE. MASTER." There were few things in this world that could faze Throlar. Unfortunately, being shouted at by a massive automaton was one of them, he reacted accordingly."Aaaahhhhhhaaaaaaggghhhhh! What in Orrick's name are you!" Quote

JimBee Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 "Suit yourself, heheh. You would find it difficult to buy a whole ore just anywhere... Kiray?" He heard the name from the giant standing behind him, a presence that he was uncomfortably aware of. His wings twitched. Quote

I stare down at the dwarf. "No offense, but I have to beg that you are mistaken and meant 600 gold. The Armour of the Dark Arts is one of the strongest defensive artifacts on the market, actually, it is isn't even on the market. Fabian would probably buy it for 400 gold plus and I would hope to sell it for considerably more than that or it would have been sold already." I pause, thoughtfully reflecting. "If, however, you or anyone else have any business you'd like done at the marketplace, I can get you 85% discount on all items therein. I like to help out where I can." Endgame Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 I wearily kick my feet up on a vacant chair. The hall was quite invigorated. An automaton whirrs, Vindsval wheels and deals, the holy man does his business... It seemed like a new influx of heroes was coming in Not anyone I recognized. I cradle my wounded ribcage with one hand. It wasn't going to heal... Quote

Enceladus Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Vindval's eyes flare as the Fenerian Speaks. His fangs bare in a tight smile as he turns to address the bandaged man. He takes the Offered hand in a vice like grip, covering the smaller beings hand and forearm past his elbow. He speaks in a low sharp voice. The might of this Lord of Light must wax indeed for one to speak thus within such proximity of his place of power. It is fortunate indeed for you that you do not speak so of The Wanderer, whom I serve faithfully. For had you done so I am afraid your life would be forfeit, your head struck from your shoulders, and your soul offered to the Gray one for judgement. I serve no wilting southern lord friend Naim Suladec Se Thamir. I am Vindsval called the Half Born, Scorpion Knight, First Paladin of Cold Lord of the barren north, the Gray One, The Wanderer, and I would broach no disrespect. I shall assume you are merely weary from your travels and it was merely a misunderstanding. You certainly could have meant no such disrespect, for are we not both members here of this Noblest of Halls. He holds the other priests gaze for a few tense moments longer, his grin widens, and he releases his black sleeved arm. He lists his steaming cask. Shall we then, as friends, drink to one another's health? Na'im winces as Vinsidvals enormous hand encircles his entire forearm "Indeed!" He replies a it too loudly "To good health!" he raises his glass and drinks deeply with Vindisval so not to appear rude, but ends up coughing after taking too big a mouthful Na'im dabs around his mouth with a spotless hankercheif that we produces from inside his cloak "I do apologise for the misunderstanding master Vindisval, but the Wanderer...it is a most curious title for a deity to acheive, if I may say so myself-one would think that a deity should be constant and unwavering for his followers no? Why is this Wanderer of yours called such?" "Now now my new friend, let's not go saying things we'll regret later." Boris grins his fangs showing. "I'm sure your Wanderer, Ennoc, and whomever Na'im here serves can get along just fine and if not then at least we can in their stead and we'll leave such enactments of vengeance and demonstrations of power up to them," the cleric waves his hand circularly in the air. [/color]"As long as we're not striking heads from shoulders." The vampire lifts his glass. Na'im smiles gratefully at Boris for getting him out of a potentially sticky situation with the Zelaous paladin "Heard anytihng else from the Crescent union old friend?" he enquires "It seems a while since the elections took place." Asphalt Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 A wanderer travels far, seen much, and knows many. He is storyteller, news bringing, hope restorer, he is warrior, death, and healer. To The Wanderer, no place is far, no thing unseen, no person unknown. All paths have been set before him, and all destinations known. What then could be a greater title to aspire to than wanderer, and what could be more constant than The Path. Be careful Naim, it would not do well to drink to health, only to drown oneself in the attempt. All is steps behind. You should less than favor with the god of this city and is followers, what path then, do you walk? Quote

Perhaps if the gold is too much for the Mythril, you would be willing to make a trade? Heheh." Quote
Zepher Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Hybros grinned widely. "Boomingham! You must have forgotten that the drinks are free here. Heheh. Yes, we should share some stories over a few drinks. I do not think you would believe all of the places I have gone to recently." "Haven't forgotten. Hoped that you had and you'd think I was being generous." Boomingham grinned. "I see." Hybros points to Kiray's bag, from which a vial of green fluid was sticking out. "I could not help but notice you have an Everlasting Venom there. Perhaps if the gold is too much for the Mythril, you would be willing to make a trade? Heheh." "Don't let him have it. I'll outbid him for it easily," says Boomingham with a wink. "Lord Lawrence Boomingham," he says, offering his hand. OoC: Callmepie, please note that I have changed my sign up from 148 to 150, since that's the one I meant to sign up for! Quote
