Alexis walks into the hall and sees that there's another new quest. She puts her name down for Quest #11.

Alexis sees her friend Althior talking to some friends over at another table and moves to join them.

"So guys, how did you like that quest? I really enjoyed it."

Tesni turned to Alexis and smiled. "It was a good quest! That first battle was a tough one, we could have done with the elemental weapons before then!" She smoothed the stones set into Cysgodion's hilt. "I am glad to have been awarded such a fine blade. Though Cryf will remain a faithful helper in case of those enemies strong to darkness."

Tesni looked across and noticed the strange ranger, 'He must have arrived when I was on a quest' she mused, he seemed unfamiliar. He seemed to be interested in facing the undead. "The undead are angering foes. They cannot be harmed by attacks from normal weapons." Tesni gestured to Cryf, which had strangely shrunken small enough to fit into her bag. "When a weapon has an element magiced to it, then it will hurt the undead. Bombs do too and our clever cleric used her healing powers to deal damage."

Ellaria returned from the Marketplace to find Tarn, Tesni, Althior and Alexis talking to some people she did not know over at one of the long tables. Ellaria smiled at Tarn as she approached the young barbarian.

"Hi again, Tarn! Greetings to the rest of you as well. Those of you who don't know me, I'm Ellaria Arbour, and I guess you could call me a disciple of Sylvania. Listen, Tarn, I was wondering whatever happened to that crown we found during our quest in the cave?"

Ellaria noticed how Tarn's eyes were fixed on Tesni, who on her behalf was chatting with Alexis. She felt something nasty turn in her guts momentarily, but it quickly passed as Tarn turned to her and returned her smile.

Tarn had been listening to Tesni and Alexis talking. He was considering getting Leyferath embued with his Aquamarine Gem when he heard Ellaria approach. He turned and smiled warmly at the young Cleric who had helped him so much as Party Leader in Quest 5.

"Hi Ellaria!" he said. "I managed to sell the crown at the Marketplace for 300 Gold, so I'm glad you, Tesni *sigh* and Alexis are here now.

Tarn gives each party member of Quest#5 "Cave Sounds" 50 Gold from the sale of the Crown.

That's:

Tesni

Alexis

Ellaria

Althior

Hoke

Ellaria blushed as Tarn handed her 50 gold. She had already sworn that she would stop blushing, but for some reason she just couldn't help herself. What was the matter with her? She was carrying a mighty staff of fire, yet here she was fawning like a little girl...

"T-Thank you, Tarn. Do you mind if I sit down with you... guys? Just for a while?"

Tarn waved his hand at the bench opposite of him, and Ellaria sat down, perching Ignis Fatuus against the edge of the table.

"So, have you applied to any of the current quests?" she asked the others. "I signed into the one pitched by the Guild of Invision."

(OoC: It was Althior Emorith who was in our quest, Amorith is another character.)

Tesni pocketed the gold and smiled she thanked Tarn. Turning back to Alexis:

"I mean, if my Cysgodion were to face a demon, nothing would happen, it's element of darkness would not harm a dark creature. So I have Cryf, just in case I have to fight a demon. What element is your gemstone?"

"Hello Alexis! I liked it, though the beasts we faced were more terrifying then anything I'd seen before."

"Thank you very much Tarn!"

"I've signed up for #9 and #10, but not #11, don't want to put my reputation with the Ziefrieds at stake. Nice people, but the death of Zed was a shame. I do hear they've located the Matriarch, though. I wonder what has happened to that demon, Abraxas."

OOC: How'd you get us mixed up? I'm way cooler than him.

"Hello Ellaria. you nice with new suit. you like my?" Alf goes and gets some food and sits down next to Ellaria. "have some food" Alf passes some food to Ellaria.

"Nice to meet you, Alf! I do like your new attire. Didn't you use to go around... um, bare-chested?"

Ellaria found herself blushing again as she spoke of the man's chest, and again she cursed herself. She would have to grow some teeth to be around this lot of battle-hardened adventurers.

Hearing this worried Ellaria.

"D-demon? Is there really a demon residing in those wizards' house? I wonder what they have done to attract such a vile thing..."

OOC:

Massive apologies K-nut! I had been reading through the other Quests just before I posted! Of course I meant Althior!

Tarn looked at Ellaria again, and noticed she was blushing a bit. That newly-clothed barbarian fellow must've caught her eye, he thought.

Atramor frowned at the table rapidly growing a bit away from the bar. Those people had no problems with their so-called 'social interaction'. Then again, he was pretty sure none of them were Rogues. He really had half a mind to join them.

"This hero stuff's getting in my head," he mumbled to himself. Little did he notice McCafferey had already flapped over to the table in question and 'bawked' loudly out of seemingly nowhere.

Ellaria turned back to Tarn.

"What about you? Planning to embark on any of the quests?"

Out of a sudden there was a living chicken on the table, pecking a piece of bread that Tesni gave it. The orc matron Scheherazade hurried out from the kitchen, waving a broomstick.

"Living meat off the table, Gibbin!" Scheherazade shouted at the owner of the chicken. "Didn't your mother teach you any manners?! By Danab's breasts..."

McCafferey pecked up the bread happily. Though the chicken had absolutely no clue what a chook chook was, she 'bawked' once again in an effort to identify herself. Suffice to say, it didn't work. Atramor was now looking under the bar, its stools, and even inside the piano for his chicken. When Scheherazade called, however, he quickly rushed to the table and snatched up the bird.

"Why? The food is hardly cooked half the time anyway!"

Grumbling to himself, he sank into one of the seats at the table and tugged down his giant hat, annoyed. McCafferey resumed her perch on top of it, obviously pleased that her master was evolving from a conniving grouch into a...relatively social grouch.

"So you Gibbin? Me Alf. So you all been on quest?" Alf sighs. Alf looks for something to do to gain attention without completely hurting himself. goes to talk to other heroes. Alf notices some other Heroes talking about their quests. hopefully I can make some allies.

oh and sorry Tarn. I know I am seeming annoying, Once I came I wanted to play out my character's role. I'm sure you understand

Tarn looked sad as Scheherazade looked to shoo away their feathered friend from the table. The look on Tesni's face when she saw the chicken, the light in her beautiful eyes...

He was interrupted from his reverie by Ellaria. Blushing slightly himself, he responded to her. "I have had a look at the Quest board, and the quest that caught my eye was the one looking for the Guild's assistant. There can't possibly be any Undead to face in that one!" he exclaimed.
