Matthias wanders past the quest board, reads the new ad, and almost declines to sign up - "Zane? More court of demons nonsense? Ugh..." but he rattles his pockets, finds them mostly empty, and decides what the heck. Matthias signs up for Quest 153.

Cedric signs up for Quest 153.

[Comrade Commander]

Darksten catches glimpse of the new quest being posted and shuffles his way over.

"Hmpf, I might not be an expert, but I can find my way I think..." Darksten thinks to himself before signing his name to quest #153.

After quickly scribbling his mark, the assassin steals away to the vacant library to copy down some quick notes from the stored maps.

Addok-Zo heads into the hall for the first time. He approaches the quest board and signs up for quest #153 then finds a seat.

Please report to the Court of Demons Clubhouse ASAP.

OoC: Still need a day or two to get all my ducks in a row, the quest should go up Thursday or Friday and then move quickly from that point forward.

Darksten returns from the library and gives the questboard a half hearted glance one his way to his usual booth. The site of his name stops him in his tracks for a moment before he quickly turns around and departs the hall

Matthias notes his name on the board - Party Leader - and heads out the door. Where is the Court of Demons Clubhouse? he wonders belatedly.

[Zepher]

While the heroes aren't paying attention, a new note is pinned to the quest board:

The clubhouse is in the Hovels. See you today. -Parvati.

The door to the Hall opens with a slight and menacing creaking sound. Ezeran scans the hall looking for people he knows. His clothes are covered in soot and ashes, his smile seems even more determined than usual. There seems to be a red glint in his eyes, surely an illusion? The symbiont in his chest is sporting a vicious smile, acid saliva hitting the floor, leaving small burn marks as Ezeran is wandering towards his usual table. Something in his stride hints of change. He orders some mulled wine and sits down in a chair, feeding the symbiont crisps of pork belly.

Addok-Zo studies the strange malformed-looking human as he enters the hall. He scowls at him as he approaches one of the nearby tables and gives him a death stare.

[MysticModulus]

Ezeran returns the stare, while holding the stare the red glint in his eyes seems to intensify as red noxious wines appears from nowhere, growing slowly but surely over the sorcerers chair and from under the table. Small pale buds emerges from it stems suddenly erupting smoke and fire. The symbiont is laughing.

[Yzalirk]

Addok-Zo continues with his death stare and sits back in his seat so the chair is against the wall and his feet are propped up on the table. He uses the butt of his decrepit-looking hand cannon to stomp the floor.

Ezeran continues to feed the symbiont pork crisps while his stare seems to be elongated into space and time leaving the deft stranger and focusing somewhere else.

[Yzalirk]

After the continuous staring, Addok-Zo speaks in his native tongue, "Douh ara rour kucha ourar uhhmarq." He examines the sorcerer more closely. "Tell me, human, why do you have a body-mouth?"

"Who's asking?"

[Yzalirk]

He shoots him with another cold stare. He is hesitant to answer the sorcerer's questions for his bias towards humans clouds his mind. "What's it to you, human? Why should I tell you?" He clutches his hand cannon as if he was about to be attacked by some wild mongrel beast.

Ezeran and the symbionts laughs together. "I guess common courtesy isn't a cultural trait where you come from. It's a deal then!" Ezeran continues to ignore the stranger. Enjoying his mulled wine.

Addok-Zo bursts out in laughter. "Douh ara ruhrrd!" He begins to slam on the table while still laughing and stops immediately. "Tell me, human, what do you know of machine-people?"

Ezeran suddenly smiles. "I've only met one, kind of an aquired taste to be honest. Are they common in your homeland?"

[Kintobor]

Annienal lowers her book, examining the new guy from afar. She listens in on his conversation while feigning to read her book.

[Yzalirk]

"Not anymore" Addok-Zo responds with the tone of a mad-man. "There were a good amount, sure. The day they awoke is a day none of us will ever forget." He slams on the table. "And your kind are responsible for their creation!"

[MysticModulus]

Ezeran raises one eyebrown barely a quarter of an inch. "My kind? You have never met my kind..."

[Yzalirk]

Addok-Zo becomes somewhat frustrated. "You are a human, are you not?"
