"I don't know where the current Veterans went, but the Hinckwells have left town and Count Shadeux was last seen leaving his house in shackles. The Crescent Union and the Sungold Alliance have disbanded, and the houses are in ruins. I, um, also appreciate the sentiment Vind, going out together again on an adventure, but... well, um... I'm leaving. N-not forever of course! I'm just... not going to be around for awhile." Annienal looked Vindsval in the eyes as she proclaimed to him what she was doing. Quote

You're- Stifling himself, Rone fought his excitement and tried to regain his composure. Still, however, he speaks in a hurry, tripping over his words. I'm sure the action of modern day Heroica have been less than enthralling in your eyes; I understand, in fact I agree. But you must give us a chance, there are good people here who believe in Heroica, in what it stands for as- as a place of heroism and honour and uplifting the disenfranchised and- Just, give us a chance. Vindsval Stands and stares down at the white haired woman. Neither recognizing her nor remembering any story he may have heard of one meeting her description. The state we have put this city in? I know not what state you believe it to be in now, but I know the state it would have been in without us. I know the state it would be in without even the likes of ME! It would be a place of pestilence and DEATH! I lost my arm to save this city from a madman who believed his diseases would cleanse it. Who are YOU? That you would pass judgement on us. We who have walked the paths of this city and this land battling that which would destroy it. I know there are those among us who fought for less than pristine reasons, but many of our Paths be true and just. Quote

Listening to the rest of the Golden Dragon's point, Dyric nods slowly. Yes, but- Rone caught himself before he began another outburst. Challenging Veterans would not help any of their cases. Of course. I certainly hope you will keep us in mind in the deliberations. "Well, uh, I suppose this is goodbye, Vindsval- definitely not farewell though! Um... *ahem* see you around."Annienal bows to Vindsval before turning around. She looks down the steps of Heroica hall and begins to descend the steps. She did not know what would befall Heroica, or her friends there. She inhaled the cool winter air as she headed out to the street."Hey." The pale faced woman called back to her. Annienal turned around as she looked back. "You're the girl Warlen liked, right?" She asked. Annienal nodded. She'd met Warlen? The pale faced woman grinned. "Don't let go of him once you find him. He's a keeper." Annienal was taken aback slightly by the woman's statement, but steeled herself and nodded confidently, gripping her fists. Looking down towards the harbour, Annienal went out into the world beyond Eubric Freeport with a newfound hope welling in her heart after what felt like years milling around the hall. Would she find Warlen? Would she fly as a dragon? Could she even fly as a dragon? She didn't know, but one thing she did know is that she could not do it while in Heroica. This was a journey she, for the time being, had to start by herself.
