I hang my cloak by the door, and walk into the hall again. I look for someone to talk to, and notice an ogre and a Dark Mage sitting at the bar. I sit in an empty seat near them, and adress them.

"Hello, I've never met an ogre before. How is it, being so...big?"

Once again, I wince at my bad communication skills.

OOC: How do you like my character?

En Sabah Nur smiled weakly at the sound of the ogre's voice. "Aye, I'm fine. Just lost in thought." The Heroes of the Hall must have been talking loudly because Nur also had throwing weapons on his mind. "Hey Skrall, what're your thoughts on throwing weapons? I tried to take up throwing knives once but missed my target nine times out of ten."

"Personally I'd be up fer givin' them a shot, however after looking at the smith's weapons in the marketplace, I don't think they make anything in my size. We ogre's don't have throwin' knives ya know," Skrall chuckled, "we have throwin' swords! "

"Ah, Nur! You're that geomancer I met earlier, correct? How are you this fine day?" Arasmyth calls out as he walks to the table Nur and Skrall are at. "And good day to you as well, ogre! I don't believe we've met. My name is Arasmyth, what is yours?"

Skrall nodded at the individual who from his choice of conversation seemed to be a mage of sorts. "My name's Skrall, Nur and I had the pleasure of huntin' down a pick-pocket fer the townwatch when I believe you arrived. We had another cleric with us as well, perhaps you've met him, Haldor? He's hard to miss, tall nordic chap, always goin' on about his female elven lover."

"Afternoon to you sir, bein' big ain't the problem, it's everything else's being so small. Like I was just tellin' my friend Nur here {Skrall indicates the dark magician} I can't even find a decent sized throwin' weapon around here. It seems not to many people are too keen on chuckin' scimitars at your enemies. But what of yerself, I've traveled far and wide but I don't think I've ever met anyone of yer complexion?"

I am a half-elf former Mopag. My mother was a Mopag, my father was an elf. That is where I get my strange looks. And I think that chucking scimitars at your enemies would work just fine. They'de be dead for sure!

"They perish just fine upon my arrows," Skrall pulled one of the 4' long oaken shafts and inspected its grey goose fletchings and iron arrow tip.

"Have you had the chance to sign up for any of the quests yet?"

Nur looked to the ogre then took a bite of his chicken. "Yes, crafty bastard that thief is. He also managed to drop a bunch of bricks on our heads before his escape."

Really? So you've seen your share of bumps to the head. It is a miracle that your brains weren't damaged in the fight.

"I agree his stealin' may be wrong, but have you gotten a look at the town watch as of late? I hear they've even been lettin' local gangs run protection rackets among the local businesses as long as they get a piece of the pie. At least Dozenhands is honest about his trade."

Tarn ambled back into the Hall with his new aquamarine-enfused water elemental ax. He had decided to change the name of the weapon from "Leyferath - Storm of Light" to "Kyrferath - "Wave of Light".

"I suppose you're right. I've heard those rumors as well. And if there's anything I hate more than criminals, it's got to be criminals who act under a facade of good-naturedness in order to exploit innocent people."

"Ah yes that looks nice. I heard that two quests get picked tomorrow. Are you hoping to get into one?"

Tarn shook his head. "I am signed up for neither. One goes so far as to bar Barbarians from taking part. What knucklehead made that call? I hope to get picked for Quest 11, it should hopefully be a nice change of pace."

"Aye, those are the worst kind..." A hero's entrance into the Hall once again caught Nur's attention as a barbarian displayed his newly acquired weapon. He and an elf were bragging about their upgraded equipment. Was that Haldor's 'Jess'? All elves looked a like to the mage. They must be quite accomplished if they were carrying such impressive weaponry. The duo's conversation about quest selection made Nur curious about his current company's desire to quest. "Which quests did you sign up for again, Arasmyth?"

"I'm signed up for 9 and 10. I'm hoping to get into Quest 10, as I've been interested in visiting the Academy of Enlightenment for a while, and this gives me an opportunity to both see the establishment and help out the owners. What about you, are you signed up for any of the three open Quests?"

Hoke sees a table full of his former quest mates.

"Hello all! I see quite a few investments in future quests. Have any of you signed up? I do hope we can adventure together again."

"I have! I've signed up for quests #10 and #11. I just want to start questing again."
