Scubacarrot Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Guts noticed that there were more heroes in the hall than before, this must be the party that went to the academy, he thought. The rogue was eager to hear the tales of their adventure, but that had to wait, there were people at the questboard, which would probably mean there was a new quest or two. After he walked down he read the description of Quest #14: The Family Recipy, and signed up. Quote
Darth Nihilus Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Dak walked back into the Hall from the Library, now feeling much more knowledgeable. He noticed two notices on the Questboard, and after thinking for a while, decided to sign up for Quest #14: The Family Recipe. He walks back to the bar and notices several new heroes there. They must be returning from a Quest, he thought, before sitting at the bar next to a female Ranger. Quote

Darth Nihilus Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Greetings! Yes, we just got back from our quest. I believe many of the quests are ending soon. "Wait a second, I thought I was the only one who could read thoughts around here!" "Anyway, I saw that you signed up for all three of the Quests on the board. Aren't you tired after being gone and fighting monsters and such?" Quote
The_Customizer Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 "Wait a second, I thought I was the only one who could read thoughts around here!" "Anyway, I saw that you signed up for all three of the Quests on the board. Aren't you tired after being gone and fighting monsters and such?" After living about 197 years, I don't tire very easily. And us female elves are good at reading minds. Quote
Jebediahs Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 En Sabah Nur returned to the Hall from the marketplace. He saw his elven questmate still recounting the latest mission before sitting at a corner table. Quote
Xarrzan Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Sarick met En Sabah Nur at the table again in the hall. As they started discussing a patron leaned in to listen. "...to acquire the itemsss I needed. I used the scroll and ssstaff to change my face back to normal. The clericsss back home thought a more human looking face would fit in better but I sssee people are very accepting here. The combination of the Scroll of Confusion and Healing Staff did the trick. I needed to 'confuse' the featuresss of my face and then heal it to return it to normal." Sarick hands the Healing Staff and Scroll of Confusion to En Sabah Nur. "Once I have completed a quessst or two and I have more fundsss, I will return for the staff and the scroll to use in future questsss. Also, here are the instructionsss you requested." Sarick slides a note to En Sabah Nur. "It lists the steps needed for reading scrolls. Thessse are similar instructions the clericsss back home taught." Quote
Jebediahs Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 En Sabah Nur nodded at the naga. "Ah, a much more fitting appearance. Thank you for your assistance. This should be all I need to apply my earthen magic to the spell scrolls." Nur skims briefly over the note. "Mmhm. I can cloud an opponent's vision with dust...or fill their mouth with an unending supply of rocks to prevent spell casting. Yes, this should work out nicely. I am glad we could help each other out. Your items shall be safe in my possession." Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Cronk walks into the hall and collapses in a chair. Cronk sooo tired. And sore. Cronk really sore. Cronk is glad to have survived and help destroy nasty arena. But Cronk could use vacation. Pretty Orc Lady! Cronk would like some buttermilk please while Cronk waits for Cronk's friends. Quote
JimBee Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Cronk walks into the hall and collapses in a chair. Hybros follows, mentally energized but physically exhausted. He reflects on his vision in the cell for a moment, then signals for a glass of spring water from the barkeeper. Well, Cronk, that was quite the adventure, heheh. Good to see you again, what did happen back there when you were in the cell? We got your message but... we weren't sure of your condition. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Awesome. The Quest went pretty well, I think. By the way, Jess, I suggest you give the second Zoot's Play Thing to Hybros - he sacrificed far more in the Quest than any of the rest of us, I think. Bartholomew Docken signs up for Quests 13, 14, and 15. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Cronk was given chance to save Cronk, Felton, Hans and Mr. Cleric. Cronk realized that there was another way out of dungeon. Cronk remember elevators. Then Cronk find two problems. 1 Elevator only could be operated from dungeon, so one friends may have had to stay behind to get rest of friends out and 2 Mr. Cleric's barrier was still up. Cronk was asked to give message to friends by Wren. Cronk kept message short. Cronk knew shorter message be easier figure out. Plus it help Cronk talk like Cronk. Lever friends pulled lowered cleric's barrier. Cronk was running out time so Cronk could not wait for barrier to fall. Mr. Cleric agree to meet rest of friends in cavern room with elevators when barrier fall. Cronk took other two friends and went back to room with cells where captured friends were found. Cronk open one more cell and find Guard Lucas. Lucas agreed to operate elevator if Cronk freed Lucas. Then Cronk's party went back to elevators and found Cleric waiting. Party went up to arena floor and found crazy Lady Wren. Lady monologued for a bit, (killed Lucas below with magic) and release a Chaos Beast. Then Wren transported away (Cronk think Lady afraid be bashed by Cronk). Cronk, Felton, and Hans try bashing beast and cleric not able to help. Beast got lucky and Cronk fell. Felton and Hans made good use of Bombs beast dropped and were able finish fight on own. When Cronk came to, Mr. Cleric channeled experience into Cronk and friends help carry Cronk out. Then Cronk found Cronk's self in field with all of original party. Cronk not know what happened to other friends but Cronk hope friends are well. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 By the way, Eric, since the Phoenix Essence you used on me was pretty much wasted, do you want mine? Quote
Bricksandparts Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Alf looks around at the new heroes. "Lot people here. " Alf goes and gets some bread and Apple cider that seamed to now be there. Alf tasted the Cider and made a sour face. "Sour..." Alf sits down near the quest board eats the rest of his food, puts down some fur and lays down and rests. Alf soon fell asleep, He had been awake for the last month two days. Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Thothwick limped up the stairs to the saloon, one hand massaging his back, tending injuries inflicted by both Draco and Eric. Once at the saloon, Thothwick collapses into a chair, near the first three people on his Quest to make it back. "Ah, Mr. Cronk, it's good to see you made it out! This Questing lark seems much more strenuous than I had imagined. I do believe the jungles of Capuchin have spawned greater warriors than I." Thothwick wearily surveyed Heroica Hall around him, noticing several new faces have joined, and others had returned from their Quests. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Cronk think friend Thothwick do fine considering circumstances. Here Cronk think Thothwick deserve one of these cookies found in Cronk's pocket. Friend Hybros also get one cookie. Last one is for Friend Daggerfall whenever Daggerfall shows up. Quote
Etzel Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Maurice returned to the Heroica Hall after taking a walk through the city in the morning. Even though he had been up all night fighting spectres and wights, Maurice didn't feel very tired but more relaxed and happy about life. The near death experience in his quest and it's tragic solution had made him feel humble about his role in the world. He was just a small pawn in the game of the gods and he was thankful that Ennoc, the Righteous Light, had stood him by. Inside the hall there were both old and new heroes gathered. Some had gathered around the Quest board so Maurice walk over to see what was to be found there. "Three different quests open for sign up. Hm, those Ziegfrieds are always experimenting with magic, I'm not sure I want to get too involved with that kind. Using all those different kinds of elements isn't right when we have the superior light to guide us all. But the Bonapartes are an honourable family as far as I've heard. Helping them catching a pirate sounds like just the thing Ennoc would bless." Maurice signed up for Quest #15: Hoisting Down the Jolly Roger. He then walked up the stairs to the Saloon where other heroes had gathered round drinks and breakfasts. Quote
Fred Fred Burger Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 A bit disheartened by the words of lady Wren Chris trudged back into Heroica hall. He signed up for Quest # 14. The Family Recipe and Quest # 15. Hosting down the Jolly Rodger thinking that both these quests where worthy causes and hoping to do more good than he had last quest. Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Cronk think friend Thothwick do fine considering circumstances. Here Cronk think Thothwick deserve one of these cookies found in Cronk's pocket. Friend Hybros also get one cookie. Last one is for Friend Daggerfall whenever Daggerfall shows up. "Ah! Thank you Mr. Cronk! Though I must inquire, who gave you these cookies? If it were Lady Wren, they may require a warning label." Quote
Fred Fred Burger Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Oh I get a cookie! Cronk your officially my favorite person ever . And can I get the peanut butter one. Quote
The_Customizer Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Wow, if passing out cookies makes one a "best friend" then perhaps I shall pass out free cups of Green-lea Tea! Oh wait, it's free anyway. Perhaps I'll just continue to drink it myself. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Cronk does not know where cookies come from. They were in Cronk's pocket when Cronk find Cronk's self in field with all of Cronk's friends. Cronk does not know what cookies are but Cronk does advise caution. Cronk does think that it would be mean if cookies weren't a positive thing. Quote
Zepher Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 <Still Quest Mastering a little, just because I want to make sure that you all get final effects of the quest. If you want to eat the cookies, I'll tell you their effects. Also, don't forget to bother Jess, she has the 200 gold from the Draco fight all on her to distribute.> Quote
JimBee Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Then Cronk found Cronk's self in field with all of original party. Cronk not know what happened to other friends but Cronk hope friends are well. Hybros drank his water and listened carefully. Ahah, so you weren't trapped the whole time after all. Good to hear that you saved those other heroes that were with us, and even that cleric. He did heal us after all, heheh. By the way, Jess, I suggest you give the second Zoot's Play Thing to Hybros - he sacrificed far more in the Quest than any of the rest of us, I think. Hybros remembers the vision that he had once more. In the war, there were those with arrows, much like Docken. But here the human was, suggesting this, and also offering his Phoenix Essence to Eric. Perhaps these surface folk weren't so bad after all. Perhaps they had changed. Hybros pushed these thoughts to the back of his mind. Eheh, well, I appreciate the suggestion Docken. I'll leave it up to Jess, but I was going to suggest you as well. Hybros looked down at the table, not sure what else to say. He could use a more powerful weapon, but then again, Lady Wren had said something about Zoot and watching the bearer of the goo... Cronk think friend Thothwick do fine considering circumstances. Here Cronk think Thothwick deserve one of these cookies found in Cronk's pocket. Friend Hybros also get one cookie. Last one is for Friend Daggerfall whenever Daggerfall shows up. Hybros nods appreciatively. Heh, thank you Cronk. I suppose there's no danger here, I'll eat one of the cookies. Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Gorg sniffed. She noticed swiftly there is a new Orc around. He ordered some mead and took a seat. He really wanted to go to his first real adventure. Quote
