Hybros glanced at the soon-to-depart heroes. He had hoped he wouldn't be stuck in the Hall much longer, he was getting anxious for adventure.

Having not been chosen for a new quest yet, Cinna sits back and works on updating her journal and enjoying some hot food.

"Hope the quest goes well, Tomas."

"Thank you very much, Cinna!"

Tomas! Me and you on a quest together again! Cronk, I hear you like bashing evil. Lets hope we can do lots on this quest.

I do not wish to go to the marketplace.

"Indeed we are! I look forward to questing with you once again."

"Good luck Tomas. I hope this quest works out for you well!"

"As for me, too bad that I wasn't chosen, hopefully I will be chosen in one of the other quests soon..."

Over the day, the Quest Board was visited by the representatives of two of the six greatest houses in Eubric Freeport. IC: De'kra glances at the board before turning to Hybros. With a sigh the shade clicks, "It look of you have quest. Good look, I hope you quest not manipulation like Quest 4, or failure like Quest 6."

She stops writing as a ranger comes over to talk to her.

"Oh, yes I thought I saw glimpses of you through the foliage in Quest 4."

"It will be a fun quest to help out the mages heal their matriarch. I'm glad to see another strong Hero will be along."

Ah, excellent! :classic: Looks like we'll be questing together again, Thothwick, and I followed Quest 4 so intently, it feels as if I went on that one with you, Cinna.

"It's good to be back with another familiar face, Mr. Docken. I've done all my shopping, so waiting is all I have to do for now!"

"This is it, my chance to see how the Mages work, up close!"

Posted

"Ah, questing again so soon? This is good news! I've spent very little time at sea in my long life, so I look forward to seeing more of the world while searching for this Jolly Roger. And I also look forward to better acquainting myself with my new party." :classic:

Thanks, Sandy!

Atramor's eyes followed out one quest party as they left, and noticed people swarming around the board again. He swigged some more rum, and went to examine it. He hadn't made it on to the Bonaparte quest...a quiet sigh of...something. Relief? Annoyance at his inability to bury old skeletons the hatchet with those....he shook his head, thoughts dissapating. Perhaps it was for the best.

Well, the sign-ups are closing soon, I sure hope I manage to get on a quest again! Maybe even with a few of my friends....

"Did you miss the announcement Erdathcath? You and I are amongst those heroes who will seek out and capture that pirate that has terrorized the seas. It's good to know we have a great ranger with out."

Oh dear! I never noticed! When are we heading out?

"In a couple of days. You better get your things packed and do your last minute shopping. I'm on my way to the market right now, want to join me?"

Actually, I think I pretty much have everything I could need.... (At least one of each bomb, some potions, and some tools.) Though I could use a stronger weapon... perhaps I shall pick up a few at the marketplace. They are only 40 gold you know!

Hybros grinned beneath his facewrap. He had hoped that he'd be able to help the Ji Pei, as they had been the only house to not offer a Quest since Hybros' arrival. He went over who he'd be travelling with.

Maurice, the wise-looking Cleric... he would be a central member of the team, but Hybros wondered how such an elderly man could act like such a giddy human boy with his duties as the Ennoc messenger. The imp nodded at Daggerfall as he passed by, familiar with the knight since his time in the Arena. He did not know the strange-looking Mage and the Ranger elf, but they looked able enough.

IC: De'kra glances at the board before turning to Hybros. With a sigh the shade clicks, "It look of you have quest. Good look, I hope you quest not manipulation like Quest 4, or failure like Quest 6."

"Thank you De'kra. You should really consider signing up for the other quests, too... it'll do you good by getting out of this place and experiencing the world. Eheh..."

Finally, Hybros joined Eric. He had been on the same quests as the northerner since the two had joined Heroica, and had noticed a drastic change in Eric's mood. The barbarian would serve as Hybros' leader for the Quest, so he decided to try to gauge the situation.

"Eric... it looks like we'll be fighting alongside each other yet again. I must ask if anything is bothering you, before we embark. If there's something you need to get off your chest... now's the time."

He silently hoped Eric would not become angry at Hybros' approach.

En Sabah Nur surveyed the fish market crowd from his rooftop perch. It was the same spot where the mage and his comrades Skrall and Haldor had laid out the ruse for Donny Dozenhands. He'd come to enjoy watching the lively crowds from here. Down below he saw a small group of knights sporting dragon and lion crests. "Ah, must be going to the aid of Ennoc."

He watched them enter the bustling crowd and quickly lost sight of them. Nur pulled out the Thorny Diadem from his pouch. He wondered what would happen if Haldor were to give it to his elf maiden as a gift. It wouldn't kill her but it might...sting a little. The mage wore a mischievous grin as he looked out towards the harbor.

Eric had been very quiet lately. He had spend most of his days eating, drinking, sleeping and sparring. His mind was occupied (ie.: I was rather busy IRL  ). As soon as he had heard of the new teams being posted Eric went to the Questboard to see if he had been selected to be part of one of them. His glance jumped from one Quest to another until he spotted his name.

"Let's show these silly wannabe pirates the real thing, he grinned. He read the names of his companions. He knew of Maurice only of name and preceding reputation. The cleric was known to be a valuable asset to any party and served Ennoc dutifully. Among the party were two more people he had already Quested with. One was Hybros, the Imp. Hybros and Eric had quested together on every quest they've been in. The Rogue was a valuable member, too and his shady skills might come in useful. Christopher was the other Hero Eric knew. They'd been together in the Arena. Sadly, Christopher was seperated from the party early on and as such, Eric didn't really know him that well. Of the others, Eric had heard much yet. He wondered how they would perform on the Quest. Most likely, they would do excellent, seeing their past experience.

"Nothing's bothering me, good Hybros. I look forward to our cooperation once more. Let's drive those pirates out of there!"
