Sandy Posted November 23, 2011 Author Posted November 23, 2011 Much to everyone's surprise, the name list for the participants of Quest #14 magically changed as people were reading it. The mistake that was made in choosing a person who had scratched off his name was corrected, and another hero was selected for the quest instead. Quest #14: The Family Recipe Participants: ~ Thormanil Nihai, Level 10 Barbarian (swils) ~ Bartholomew Docken, Level 13 Ranger (Brickdoctor) ~ Thothwick, Level 3 Rogue (Professor Flitwick) ~ Cinna the Dark, Level 10 Mage (darkdragon) *Party Leader* Quote
Quarryman Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Weary, but satisfied with a job well done after finishing the quest Namyrra entered the hall. And with a slight feeling of regret she saw that no less than three quests had recently closed signups and gotten underway. Nothing to do about that now though, so she instead signed up for Quest#17 and went out in search of this fabled Elphaba she'd heard was visiting the marketplace. Quote
Kadabra Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Arasmyth returns from his Quest with his Bag of Holding pockets stuffed full of loot and his coin purse burning a hole in his pocket. He resists the urge to spend it all for long enough to go to the quest Board and sign up for Quest 17. He than takes off at a brisk trot for the Marketplace. Quote

Waterbrick Down Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Skrall walks into the hall, his satchel heavy with its bulging contents. It was a wonder he hadn't been pick-pocketed on his way back to the hall, but maybe his allegiance with the Wolfgang was paying off. Nodding hello to several of the heroes still seated, Skrall glanced at the quest board, he wasn't much for epic adventures so he decided to refrain from signing up under the current notice and so he went and had a seat at one of the nearby tables. Skrall ordered a hefty tankard from the barmaid and let his shoulders sag at his release from his leadership role. It had been quite a few years since he had had to worry about others under his command and he couldn't say he had exactly relished the experience, but what was done had been done and he was glad he had ended up with more friends than enemies on his latest quest. Sitting there sipping his ale, the ogre wondered what had become of his friend the dark mage Nur and the lovestruck cleric Haldor. Quote
Quarryman Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Going back to the hall from the marketplace Namyrra had been doing some calculations, so when she entered she went and put a note saying: "Ruby for sale, 85 gold (that's 15 less than what Elphaba is asking in the marketplace), talk to me in the hall or in private if interested" Having thus announced her proposed deal she saw that Skrall had also returned to the hall and went to join him. She was quite impressed with how well the huge ogre had managed the quest, surely that Althior fellow took enormous amounts of patience to keep up with out in the woods. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 "Good afternoon to you Namyrra. Have you recovered from our trek in the forest?" Quote
Quarryman Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 "Good afternoon to you Namyrra. Have you recovered from our trek in the forest?" "Well, I could do with some sleep I think, and some new robes would probably be in order, but I'm mostly fine. Happy we managed to save that centaur, would have been horrible if that Grof megablocks killed her. And how about you?" Quote

Happy we managed to save that centaur, would have been horrible if that Grof megablock killed her. And how about you?" Yes, I am well, glad to have a roof over my head and a tankard of ale in my hand. That mage Althior was a handful, but I'm glad we had him along, his compass proved useful more than once. Tell me, I've not seen another of your kind since I've come here, do you miss your kin folk?" Quote
K-Nut Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Althior strides back into the hall, his pack filled with all the elements. He hopes some of his friends are back from their quests. He signs up for Quest #17: The Lion's Snare. "But sir, aren't you afraid of Lions?" "Hush!" He walks up to the pub and sees his former Party Leader, Tarn Valco sitting among the Heroes. "Tarn!" He calls as he sits by his friend. Quote
CMP Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Atramor looks up, and grumbles, a bit, as the annoyoing moustached mage sits nearby. McCafferey, curious, flutters over to Finnigan. Quote
The Legonater Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 I look at the quest board, sign up for Quest 17, then sit down beside Skrall. Yo. Quote

Sirius Black Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Bob walked back into the hall, eager to find another quest to journey on. Unfortunately, he noticed the sign-ups for three quests had just closed, leaving only one available. Bob quickly penned his name under Quest 17, then set off for the marketplace, eager to put his gold to good use. Quote
CMP Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 "YOU SPELLED MY NAME WRONG!!!!! How hard is it for people to spell around here?" "I don't see your name (nor whatever the hell you even are) written anywhere," he answers, as McCafferey attempts sit on the head(?) of the...blue thingy. Quote

Sandy Posted November 24, 2011 Author Posted November 24, 2011 ~A new quest has been posted on the Quest Board (#18 by JimButcher)! Scheherazade has new rumours to share!~ Quote
K-Nut Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Althior signs up for Quest #18: The Storm. Quote
Kadabra Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Arasmyth looks up as a new Quest was posted on the Board. It requested Heroes of Level Ten or above, while Arasmyth was Level Seven. However, the notice said "preferably" and Arasmyth was a mere three Levels short of the mark, so he scrawled his name onto the sign up list for Quest #18: The Storm. Quote
Quarryman Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Hearing a new quest had been posted Namyrra excused herself from Skrall for a moment to go check out the quest board, and upon seeing that not only was this quest looking like it would take her away from Eubric for a while, but it also specifically asked for experienced heroes, something she'd come to realize she was now, so she decided to sign up for Quest#18. Having thus finished her business at the quest board she returned to Skrall to continue their conversation from earlier. Quote
The Legonater Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Having thus finished her business at the quest board she returned to Skrall to continue their conversation from earlier. I- sitting beside Skrall- look up as Namyrra returns. Yo. Quote
K-Nut Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Althior gets up from the table, as does Finnegan. Once Finnegan stands up, McCaffery starts squawking like a maniac, pecking at his face. "GET IT OFFFFFF!!!!!!" "Really?" Althior says as he pulls his shovel out of Finnegan's pack. He takes a half swing at McCaffery. She begins squawking again as she lands by Artamor. Althior would have nightmares about that chicken, but they wouldn't be as bad as Finnegan's. *shudder* As Althior walks over to where Skrall and his former quest-mates are sitting, he thinks to how he knew Artamor, and a hatted figure shooting at him. He can't explain what these thoughts are, but he knows something is wrong, and he needs to stop it before his entire memory left him. He thinks of one name that he certainly remembers. Abraxas. He knew he was responsible. Why did Abraxas care about him so much? Only time would tell. He sat down by Skrall and Dyric without saying a word. Quote
The Legonater Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 He sat down by Skrall and Dyric without saying a word. Dyric looks up. Take a seat. But keep that torqouise terror away from me. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 "Well there Althior, you back up to full health again? Hey, I've been meanin' to ask you, what's it take to trap ones senses in a bottle?" Quote
