Dannylonglegs Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Q76ers. This Quest has gone on for long enough, and there's only 2 of you, pretty much. I'm cutting as much fluff as I can at this point. My own ability to participate, as well as that of others in the Quest has been subpar from the start, for which I am very sorry. There'll be allot to talk about at the end, I'm sure, but for now, I'll focus on finishing it well for you guys. There's only one or two more combats. It should be over within three weeks time, if all goes smoothly. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Palathadric Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 No! Just after I placed a bet that you would pass 42 for length of quest. Quote
Endgame Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Danny, if you ever need someone to run a round or two for you, feel free to ask. Quote
Duvors Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Danny, if you ever need someone to run a round or two for you, feel free to ask. I don't think any one has ever done that before, ought to be interesting. Quote
Endgame Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Flipz ran about a few rounds in 48 (Some for The Suffering, some for Perfect Regret)... The former because I was on vacation, the latter because I was drugged up after a wisdom tooth removal. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 (edited) Danny, if you ever need someone to run a round or two for you, feel free to ask. It's not the Rounds I have a problem with, it's mostly the pictures. I'm saying this though because I feel like the Quest has been drawn out waaaaay longer than it should have been. And there's only two people in the Quest right now, making it the Quest with the fewest players overall in Heroica's history, I think. (aside from side-quests.) Thanks for the offer though. I feel like the one I should be most apologetic towards is Cap.t though. He's been there the whole time, almost no participation problems at all. I would likely have dropped the Quest if its events didn't showcase numerous NPCs/things that I plan on doing things with in the future. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited October 18, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote
Flipz Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 If there's anything I can do to help, let me know. Obviously, sets are my weak point as well, but if you'd like to steal an NPC of mine or something you've seen (or even want one you haven't seen ) for whatever reason, let me know. Quote

For half of Quest #42 there were only two players. Quote
Kintobor Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 IMPORTANT I probably won't be very active until Sunday Evening. All players on 83, my apologies. We'll get right back into things come Sunday evening. Quote
Tachyon Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 Not the fewest players. For half of Quest #42 there were only two players. Didn't quest #41 only have two players ? Quote
Tachyon Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 But it still is the quest with the fewest players. Quote

Obviously, sets are my weak point as well, but if you'd like to steal an NPC of mine or something you've seen (or even want one you haven't seen ) for whatever reason, let me know. Thanks for offering to help, but I'm really only cutting one battle and one random encounter. Nothing over-much. Nothing that would effect the Quest dramatically. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Ohhhh... DLL, it's no problem. At least you take the time to get all our characters in the pictures, and I know you're busy. Quote

Palathadric Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Great pic, DLL! A lot of depth. Seems very involved. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Yes, that is something I really like about DLL's pictures. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Endgame, are the enemies in this quest going to be humanoids? It seems more of that type of a quest, but I can't tell. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Endgame, are the enemies in this quest going to be humanoids? It seems more of that type of a quest, but I can't tell. On a related note, any idea on length? Quote
Endgame Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 (edited) Probably 56 length, perhaps a bit longer. I imagine it won't take too long at all, esepcailly since it will only feature a miniboss and not a full boss. (2 battles + 1 miniboss) There will be some humanoids involved, but only for one battle. (Emphasis on the "oid".) I'd love to have some new faces and some returning ones along - Skrall has always been one of those people I've always wanted to host. Waterbrick Down Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Well as long as we aren't looking at anything 48ish I'll sign-up. Quote
Zepher Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Another teaser: "Winter is coming." We're taking you folks far north. It's harsh up there. Quote
Flipz Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 (edited) Haldor. Haldorhaldorhaldorhaldor. Haldor. No, seriously, either you take him or you make Scorpiox co-QM. It just wouldn't be right without him. Edited October 29, 2013 by Flipz Quote
