You've never gotten surprise items before?

The Certificate I leave up to whichever QM you present it to. The Lamp will be a nice surprise :sweet: . (Like, actually a nice one, not nasty playing nice. It's a summoning lamp like the others, just a powered up one - should you use it, I will send the QM what it should do. I think we've had items like that before, I like them).

If I host another quest in the near future, it possibly may appear sometime during this month - I'd love to host you again :classic:

Awesome! Although I've still never been hosted by a QM twice, so maybe I should keep the tradition. (Besides, I'm not sure if I can commit myself for another six months)

On a more serious note, though, I think Sandy said that he was planning on hosting a marketplace quest sometime in September, if I'm not wrong, and I really want to go on that quest. Besides, I've never been on a Sandy quest.

Interesting to not, the only heroes I've quested with twice have been Mizuki, Erik, and Daxus. Essentially, the Voracious Vault team. :classic:

As awesome as Home Sweet Home sounds, I don't think I'll be back in time. Besides, I think I'd have to pass anyway--I have a sneaking suspicion that Byblos will be a part of the Marketplace Quest, and I'd like a shot at Artisan anyway. :sweet:

Clippard's Poison (When applied to a weapon, all damage dealt will instantly KO enemies unless they are immune to poison, deadly poison, or sudden death. Can be applied 3 times [0/3]).

*huh*

It doesn't permanently imbue the weapon, never fear. It has a (powerful) life of three battles, and that's it.

You mean it completely renders three battles useless? Raiders deal damage to all enemies on a Shield.

Lots of enemies are immune to poisons and instant kills, particularly strong ones. I think it's a fair enough item, and even if its not, it will be gone sooner or later. :shrug_oh_well: Hopefully Guts will save it and revenge himself upon me for these last few months, making my next quest a breeze.

The Marketplace quest will be hosted some time in October-November, since I want Elphaba to be around for it. I have a quest or two coming up before that, though, I just don't have time to host anything while C.A.T. is still going on.

For the record, I did not have a say in that item. :hmpf_bad:

Zepher, thanks very much for quest 72. I think it's important you know that I did really enjoy myself. I would echo what the other guys have said about the quest, and there's a lot of criticism there, but it's a credit to you that you take it on board and work with it.

A few particular points I'll revisit:

We often felt a bit lost, and we spent a lot of time discussing with each other who we suspected, why and what we were going to do about it. It was a consequence of not knowing what to do and trying to cover all aspects before time ran out that led us to split up to try to gather as much information as possible. Unfortunately, the lack of pictures contributed to this.

Having items and loot not carry over with the time jump was a little disappointing. We made a plan to try to get as much as we could of what we wanted on the last jump, but offering us side quests to kill people that we'd fail the quest for (and not even get to keep the reward) or retrieve items that we couldn't even keep seemed a little unfair. Overall, there was good loot at the end, so I'm not complaining about that, just that the side quests seemed... pointless. Sorry.

The other disappointing thing was having great conversations (particularly with Lord Chauncey for Nyx) that didn't carry over either, and there wasn't time in the last jump to revisit that conversation to provide an enduring relationship between the characters.

I know you've taken a lot of criticism, but there were good points too. I thought Avery was a great character, and I really would have liked to see more of Chauncey. I liked Guffington too, although there was very little interaction with him. It was a great idea for a quest and I always enjoy your hosting (you really are the friendly neighbourhood Zepher ), and I thoroughly enjoyed questing with Scuba, JimB and Brickdoc - we had a great team spirit in our PM - but unfortunately you (Zeph) didn't get to see that.

Once again Zepher, thank you, and thank you for taking the criticism so well.

Well that makes matters a bit more complicated, but I doubt I'll have time to go on a quest, unless it's really short, before that time. :look: ...So I guess not so complicated. Besides I have some catching up with Arasmyth to do...I think.

Any ideas on how long the quest will be, Flare?

Even if I started it today it wouldn't be finished by October :sceptic: But I couldn't even start it this week so perhaps I will postpone it until Decemberish when the Marketplace quest gets out

Reminds me, I should probably decide where Patuqun is...

This might be a bit late, but from the description it sounds like it's located very far north, probably the northernmost of the High Kingdoms.

That was the original plan, and I even made a finalized map for it, but that was in the brainstorming stage a good while ago, before Sandy did the map of Olegaia. Plus I'm considering moving it in case I want it to fit into a potential storyline for an insane five-part Zeph-Pandy-Scuba-JimB-Doc quest.

*huh* I don't know if I can afford to take on any further projects.

Oh, so you're willing to work with this lot, but not with me, huh? :poke: (I'm just kidding, you've already been more than generous with your permissions. Still, I'd love any input you have on what you-know-who and I have so far. )

Is this actually happening? Please?

Well, judging from the fact that one of the co-hosts knows nothing about it, I would say "no". :sceptic:

Or maybe they just did all the planning without you and will give you the job of rolling the battles and tallying up the results.

That it is not yet happening, does not mean it is not happening.

Make it happen, and get WBD and Flipz in on it two, and give it connections to Mercuton. (Of corse if you do give such a multi-quest ties to Mercuton then you'd probably have to get Kintobor on it too.) Edited by Lord Duvors
