Guts swings by Portia's Potion Shack, buys 10 Meads, 10 Nostrums and 10 Smelling Salts for a total of 750 Gold. He also buys 3 Grand Potions, 5 remedies, 5 Smoke Bombs, 2 Neutralizers and 2 bottles of Deadly Venom for a total of 305 Gold. This leaves him with (2383 - 1055 = 1328 Gold).

Nerwen approaches Anwyl and asks for the Ruby and Emerald to be removed from the two staves she carried. Placing 15g and her hammer on the counter she said,

You can keep the weapons as part payment, I only need the gems.

unmerge gem 50g x2 = 100, 2x WP:6 weapon 30g, 2x WP:5 weapon, 25g. 30+30+25-100=15g to pay. 336-15=321g

Moving across to Fabian's counter, she place the winged circlet on the counter.

It is a lovely piece of workmanship, but I would like the gem please. Also, I do not need two pairs of handcuffs.

Nerwen leaves 50g for the removal of the sapphire and accepts 10g for the shackles.

With that, Nerwen returns to the hall.

Maurice decides to lighten his gold purse and pays a visit to Fabian's Fantabolous Fashion.

"One of those Paladin's Armours that you got in stock, please. And here is a diamond that I would like to get merge with it. That makes 250 gold, right?"

He then walks over to Portia's Potion Shack and buys some Nostrum, three to be exact.

3x35=105, 280-105=175 gold left

"That should be it."

On their arrival in Eubric, Amma notices that something has changed. She had not been for a long time in Eubric before they were called to Charis, but it was not so ... chaotic as they left.

Amma goes to the Market and approaches Fabian's shop. She seems to know what she wants as she glances at a specific item. However she decides to look around for some armor as well. She examines the armor of ... and touches the robes.

But her eyes always wander back to that item. She has to get it.

"I'll take that statuette."

She tosses Fabian 30 Gold and pockets the Cat Statuette. Then she leaves and heads to the Hall.

This enchanted bracelet (protects from sealed, accessory), it is just like that mage's muffler there, perhaps 20g for that.

This winged helmet (sp:2, headgear), twice as good as your leather cap, so 30 for that,

and this magical tiara (ether +3, headgear), half again as good as your pointy hat there, so I think 60g would be fair.

If you accept all that, I'd like some of those Archmage's robes.

Karie wanders about the market looking at the various wares. She stops at Gnomeo's and ponder's through his goods, devising a plan.

"Look! A distraction!" She yells, pointing off into the market.

The Gnome gives her a blank stare.

"You really think that trick was going to work on a seasoned buisnessman?"

"Eh, it was worth a shot." She purchases a bedroll for 5 gold. Karie now has 5 gold pieces left.

She wanders around for a little bit until she notices Portia's.

"I'll take this potion for 3 gold pieces, nothing less."

Portia gives her a dirty look. "You do know how hard it is to craft one of these?"

"Yes, I do, and that is why I say it's worth 3 gold pieces."

"Now you look here!"

"You drive a hard bargain madame," Kaire interrupts, "I'll pay four gold pieces."

"Five, as the sign says, or you can buzz off." Portia responds. Karie ponders hard for a moment.

"Deal!"

Karie purchases a potion for 5 gold pieces. She now has 0 gold coins.

After realizing she is out of money, Karie strolls back up to the hall.

Receiving Fabian's reply, Nerwen returns.

She hands over the Enchanted Bracelet (Protects from Sealed effect, accessory), Winged Circlet (SP:2, headwear), Magical Tiara (+3 Ether, headwear, suitable for Ether users) for 110g.

Then she buys a set of archmage's robes for 300g.

226g + 110g - 300g = 36g

Brickington walks around a decides to purchase supplies for his next quest which is tomorrow. He walks up to Portia's Potion Shack. At first he tries to court Portia, but fails and ends up buying a Venom for 5 gold. Then Brickington walks up to Gnomeo's Tool shed and buys a Bedroll for 5 gold. Costing him him 10 gold total and leaving him broke.

Sarge purchases 1 pair of sticky gloves (884-500=384) and then proceeds to Anwyl's to upgrade his scissors. (384-[150+160]=74) Leaving him with 74 gold. Oh no!

I enter the marketplace and gaze somewhat longingly at the wares, but I have a mission to complete and will not falter until I fulfill it. My Broomstick De Albert, which has been successfully converted into a cross, is pulled out of my cart. I hand it gently to Anwyl.

"I want these three gems here, this Amethyst, this Sapphire, and this Ruby embedded into the Holy Flying Cross. Make sure that you treat it with the utmost gentleness. I will not have you mishandling it!"

I fix my intent gaze on Anwyl as he sets to work and finally hands the cross to me with the gems studding it's head.

"I could have done this job myself!" I mutter. "Hardly befitting the holiest pieces of equipage, but here, I'm a generous man. Have these 150 pieces of gold. I'm expecting better from you in the future though!"

3 Gems x 50 Gold = 150 Gold

Erdathcath walks up to Portia's Potion Shack, greeting her with a friendly "Hello".Turning to look through her wares, Erdathcath picks out 2 Dirt Bombs, 2 Air Bombs, and 2 Smelling Salts. She hands over 90 Gold, leaving her with only 467 Gold.

10 gold x 4 (all bombs) + 25 gold x 2 (smelling salts) = 90 gold.

Happy with her purchases, Erdathcath returns to the Hall.

Walking into the marketplace, I sell my heavy armor back to Fabian for 115 gold, leaving me with a total of 439 gold.

"Mister, would you like to buy this Helmet (Artifact, headwear, SP: 1, suitable for Rogues or Clerics and their Advanced Classes)?"

"Mister, would you like to buy this Helmet (Artifact, headwear, SP: 1, suitable for Rogues or Clerics and their Advanced Classes)?"

"I will buy it from you for 15 gold, if that is suitable to you."

OoC: I won't be putting it up for sale, though, since there's already an item called a Helmet and a headgear with the same effect.

Guts buys a Magnifying glass and a Pickaxe at Gnomeo's, for (20+30=50 gold). He then swings by Anwyl's Smithey, where he upgrades Lifestealer to WP: 28 (250+260+270+280 = 1060) He also has his Opal infused with his Dancing Shoes, for 50 gold. This leaves Guts with 168 Gold (1328-50-1060-50).

Before heading towards the Bonaparte fortress island, Eric decides to stop by Porthia's potion shack first. There, he buys 5 Nostrums (-175) and 5 Smelling Salts (-125). This leaves him with 86 gold.

Nessa returned from the temples. Still in thoughts she wandered on the way through the marketplace. Her eyes fell on an armour but she couldn't afford it. She rummaged her bag and went to Portia to sell her fire bomb (+5 gold = 19 gold, -1 fire bomb). After that she went over to that weird looking guy at the anvyl to sell her forgotten bow (WP: 3). In return she got 15 gold (+15 gold = 34 gold, -1 forgotten bow WP:3) and left to see the armoury again.

That leather armour wasn't pretty but it would do its task. So she bought a leather armour (SP: 1) at Fabian's and gave 30 gold for it. (-30 gold = 4 gold, + 1 leather armour SP: 1).

Thereafter she left the marketplace in order to return to the hall.
