I enter the marketplace after my tramp through a Fields.

"Ah, Fabian. How fairs your business since we last met. You are looking better than last time. I reckon a few good nights' sleep and less worry in your life, eh? No more thievin' beings running around these sides? I sent a couple gifts Warlock's way, including that pair of Shackles I had, I hope he puts them to good use. I will have to purchase a new pair, though, it seems."

I collect a Shackles of War from Fabian for 20 gold.

"That's a good, solid piece of armour you've got there as well. I had contemplated purchasing it before now. Since I have a fair few coins at present, I may as well do that."

I purchase a Heavy Armour from Fabian for 230 gold.

"Thank you! That will be all for now."

I head to Anwyls' smokestack.

"Greetings. I would greatly appreciate it if you would remove this Ruby and this Sapphire from this Flying Cross and put them in the Dual Staff along with this Diamond. Also, I'm sure you'll find this Scrap Metal of use."

I disimbue the two gems for 100 gold and imbue them into the Dual Staff for 150 gold and then Sell the Scrap Metal for 25 gold.

806+25-20-230-250=331 gold remaining

Romulus sells the silver ore for 60 gold. (550+60=710)

Then, Romulus upgrades Dawnbreaker to WP16 and Combrys to WP16 (140+150+160+160=610. 710-610=100)

Romulus then buys two nostrums. (100-35-35=30).

Arthur quickly speeds through the Marketplace, buying two Smelling Salts and a Mead for 65 Gold. 413-65=348 gold

Nain heads to Gnomeo's and perchaces a bedroll for 5 gold

Karie wanders back into the Marketplace, Hershey perched on her shoulder. She heads to one of the few shops she ever visited: Portia. The shopkeep simply looked over and rolled her eyes as Karie came over.

"Alright, two grand potions, (20 Gold), a phoenix (50 gold), two meads (30 gold), and two nostrums (70 gold)."

Patricia pulls out all the items and sets them on the counter.

"If my math's correct, that's 170 gold."

Karie lays out the change, leaving her with 12 gold. 182-170=12 gold.

"Mreoow-eow! <What a scam!>"

Karie sets her items straight, then turns back to Portia.

"Can you give me directions to the Academy?"

Portia scoffs. She looks about her stall then pulls out a folded piece of parchment.

"Just take this map..."

"Thanks. I guess..."

Karie reluctantly takes the map and makes her way out of the market.

"Mreoow-ow-ow. <I'll lead the way. Sometimes I wonder how you're still alive.>"

Hershey slides down Karie's back and begins to head out of the market.

"Hershey! Hey, where're you going! Get back her!"

Karie moans, then rushes after her pet feline.

Heckz enters the marketplace and buys a Smelling Salt and a Remedy, leaving him with 112 gold (147 - 25 - 10 = 112).

As quickly as possible Throlar goes over to Gomioes and buys a Bedroll for Five gold.

Namyrra arrived in the marketplace with various items to sell.

From her recent quest she sold 6 venoms (12 gold), 1 sabre (40 gold) and a golden crown (300 gold), for a total of 352 gold.

She also sold her oriental crossbow (35 gold) and 5 venoms (10 gold) for a total of 45 gold, leaving her with 1094 gold in total, and 264 gold to divide between her recent quest mates.

Atramor stopped in the marketplace on his way back to the hall, failing to notice McCafferey having vacated his shoulder. He'd used most of his consumables in that damn desert and had to restock. He first dropped off his Desert Cloak and Galactic Armor at Fabian's, to have the Sapphire and Garnet transferred from the former to the latter at the cost of 200 gold. Additionally, he sold the already-obsolete Tricorne for 60 gold. He then made a stop at Portia's Potion shack, stuffing 3 Mulled Wines, 3 Smelling Salts, and 3 Grand Potions into his coat, handing over 270 gold in return. He glanced off to the side as he returned to have his artifacts picked up - swearing he'd seen Tarn alongside Ella not far away - but only shrugged, as he left the marketplace with 88 gold remaining.

"Well, the Water Canteen is largely situational, much like an item known as the Amulet of the Elven Horseman, which, off the top of my head, you offered another hero about 25 Gold for.

"The Desert Cloak provides immunity to three elements. The only item you're currently selling that also offers elemental immunity is the Unholy Armor, which provides 5 SP and immunity to two elements for 500 Gold. Based on the fact that the SP: 1 Leather Armor and Leather Cap are each worth 30 Gold, and the fact that SP: 2 Orcish Helmet and Sand Worm Hide are each worth 60 Gold, and the fact that the SP: 3 Knight's Armor and Tricorne are each worth 90 Gold, I'd say that the 5 SP component of the Unholy Armor makes up 150 Gold of its price. That leaves 350 Gold covering the two elements, which is 175 Gold per element. Multiply that by three since my cloak provides immunity to three elements and divide that by two since I know you have to make a profit, and the result is 262 and a half, call it 260, Gold."

I hand Fabian the Canteen for 25 Gold.

"The appearance of the cloak doesn't affect its powers, however. It still provides immunity to three elements, something that would cost 450 Gold to create during the rare instances when Elphaba is around. I know you might want to decrease the price to convince people to buy your artifact instead, since imbuing can be applied to any artifact, not just this one cloak, so you might charge just the cost of the materials and not the labor, but that's still 300 Gold. How about 150 for the cloak?"

Atramor dropped back into the marketplace after a few days catching up on his drinking. He walked into Fabian's, selling his Water Canteen for 25 gold, then came back around to Portia's to buy a Neutralizer, a Nostrum, and an Ambrosia, returning to the Hall with 51 gold in hand.

"Well, I don't want anyone calling me unreasonable, so we have struck a deal, Mr. Dickens. Here is 150 gold for you."

I hand Fabian the Desert Cloak.

The tall blond Raider stepped into the Marketplace. It had been a while since his last visit, at least when it came to Guild-related purchases. His pockets were laden with gold and his fingers itching to spend it.

Low on gold coins, but stocked with provisions, Eric then left the market and made his way to McReary's chapel.

IC: De'kra looks around. He could still feel his body dying, but for a brief moment in the quest he had started to condense again. What if he survived? Shouldn't he prepare for survival, it wasn't like keeping his money would do him good dead.

He walked over to the stores, learning from the quest. With 80 Gold he purchased 8 Grand Potions, leaving him with two hundred and one. Next he bought 3 Phoenix Essences and a Grand Tonic. Now with only 21 Gold left, he departed to the Hall.

Avalanche purchases 3 Holy Bombs from Portia, leaving him with 100 gold.

Boomingham sways into the marketplace after a night out at a tavern. The last few days and weeks had been strange, and he had needed a break. He marches up to Fabian first.

"Hello there, chappo. I'm done with this, thank you. It's a little more worn and torn, but I don't doubt you can fix it up." Boomingham drops his Heavy Armor on the counter. "Now, if you'd be so kind as to tear up this scroll and put it in my book... not that I don't think I could do it myself - don't know why I pay you for it, but what the Hel, you're the professional and I want that book well bound." Boomingham hands his scroll of Fraility and his Tome of Affluence to Fabian. "I'll be back shortly." (171+135-50=256).

He next makes his way over to Portia. The woman stands back and lets him shop, by now used to his spending habits, knowing he's good for it. He picks up 3 Meads and 1 Nostrum, banging some gold down on the counter. (256-[(15*3)+35]=176).

Done with shopping, Boomingham scoops up his haul and returns to the Hall.

On the way to Heroica Hall, Darksten stops by the market place to peruse the good being sold.

After skimming over the meager wares at Gnomeo's Toolshed, he settles on a buying a bedroll after remembering the many cold nights he had spent on past hunting trips.

Hoang Anh gives Mr Gnomeo 5 golds and take the bedroll. Now he only have 5 golds left but at least he has the bedroll now.

Nyx swings by the Maketplace, first to Fabian's to have her spare Amethyst and her Scroll of Sleep imbued into her Mirage Cloak, (582-50-50=482) and then with a smile and a wave she races off to Portia's, grabbing another 2 Meads and 2 Nostrums (482- [(15x2)+(35x2)]=382 gold remaining) before rushing off to where she was supposed to be.

Sarge sells his witch's Talisman, buys a phoenix essence, and a set of black knight's armour.
