Arthur looks on incredulously. "Those are weapons?" Arthur looks curiously toward Anwyl. "I think I've seen them before, on a previous...erm, 'visit'. Give me a minute."

Arthur walks over to Anwyl's smithy, and after a few minutes' heated conversation and a hefty bribe of 50 Gold, Anwyl goes into the back, returning with a pack of cards. Arthur accepts them, still not sure whether to believe the so-called 'dwarf''s claims.

"Are these what you're talking about?" Arthur asks. "He called them 'Pentagram Players', whatever that means. Anyway, I can't use them, but if you can actually use cards as a weapon..." Arthur shrugs, passing on the Ethereal Deck ('Pentagram Players' Playing Cards) (WP:5, throwing weapon) to Lind.

"We'd best be getting on to our Quest," Arthur remarks, "the others are probably already waiting for us." Waiting a moment for Lind to catch up, Arthur heads out on his newest journey.

[Lind Whisperer]

Lind stared at the deck with amazement. "Another Ethereal Deck...I wonder how it ended up here, of all places...Thank you, very much..."

He looked over the cards.

"These tell, at least a part of the story, as to how they ended up here. Spring of the Emotion of Evil, Emotion of Day, Arcane Strategata of the Oiled Pool, Coat of the Day Stalker, The Light Woman - no peaceful Hero would have carried these with him or her."

"We'd best be getting on to our Quest," Arthur remarks, "the others are probably already waiting for us." Waiting a moment for Lind to catch up, Arthur heads out on his newest journey.

On his way to the Hall, Thalion stops by the Marketplace and buys the following: Winged Sandals, 4 Grand Potions, 3 Nostrums, Grand Tonic, 2 Smelling Salts, Pickaxe, Magnifying Glass, Phoenix Essence and 2 Potions (915 - 80 - 40 - 105 - 30 - 50 - 20 - 30 - 50 - 10 = 500 gold left)

Heckz entered the Marketplace and began spending his precious gold.

He gets the Garnet out of the Earthen Drum, then proceeds to sell the Earthen Drum for 45 gold. After that he bought three meads and three smelling salts. Leaving him with 779 gold. (904 + 45 - 50 - 120 = 779)

Now a Chi Monk, Hybros finds himself in the Marketplace with a need for new equipment. He heads to Anwyl's first, 1429 gold jingling in his coin pouch.

He sells his Cracked Starbeam Dagger (WP:15, damages undead, double WP from dusk until dawn, breaks after one use, throwing weapon), Ancient Starbeam Dagger (WP: 12, damages undead, double WP from dusk until dawn, breaks after one use, throwing weapon), and four Scrap Metals for a total of 235 gold. He refuses the gold and instead hands over an additional 65 gold to have all of his gems removed from the Sword of Ancestral Hatred and Zoot's Reaper (Diamond, Amethyst, Sapphire, Ruby, Opal, Garnet).

At Fabians, he sells the Pauldrons (SP:2, suitable to Knights, Skirmishers and Dragoons) for 30 gold, buys the Fighting Boots for 200 gold, and removes the Emerald from his Golden Armor for 50 gold.

He departs with 1144 gold.

Em enters the marketplace, first merging his Crescent Shield with his Topaz for 50 gold (181 - 50 = 131) and then increasing his Crescent Shield's SP by 2 (131 - 60 = 71 - 70 = 1).

He then taps on his shield, testing its new durability, before naming it: Vigilant.

Atramor dropped by the marketplace briefly, selling off his Shovel, Pickaxe, Neutralizer, and Grand Potion for a total of 45 gold before returning to the Hall.

Em returns to the Marketplace, selling his scrap metal x4 for 100 gold, his bow (WP:5) for 25 gold, his Quality Cutlass (WP:6) for 30 gold, his Aging Starbeam Blade (WP: 9, damages undead, double WP from dusk until dawn, breaks after one use, longsword) for 45 gold, his fashionable shield (sp:7) for 35 gold, and his ranger's quiver for 10 gold.

Gold = 328 + 100 + 25 + 30 + 45 + 35 + 10 = 573.

He then buys five shield upgrades (573 - 80 = 493, 493 - 90 = 403, 403 - 100 = 303, 303 - 110 = 193, 193 - 120 = 73 gold). (from SP:7 to SP: 12)

With his 73 remaining gold, he buys one Ambrosia (73 - 65 = 8).

He then approaches Fabian, asking if he would take the White Marksman's Hat (⅙ chance of Assassination vs. Flying monsters; Headwear) and Gentleman's Hat (SP: 1, suitable for men, headgear. The wearer has a 1/2 chance to not be affected by (Asleep) for 30 gold for the pair.

Erdathcath casually walks into the Marketplace, purchasing items for her upcoming quest. "Good to see you again Portia, how's the potion business going?"

"It's going quite well actually, what can I do for you today?"

Erdathcath looks through the goods, and chooses 4 Smelling Salts (100 gold), 2 Elixirs (80 gold), and 2 Phoenix Essences (100 gold) "I think these will be enough, have yourself a wonderful day!" Erdathcath hands Portia 280 gold (100+100+80=280) leaving her with 308 gold.(588-280=308)

Continuing on her shopping spree, Erdathcath walks over the the Smithy, and upgrades her handcannon. Handing 160 gold to Anwyl, her Handcannon is upgraded to wp:16. (WP:15 to WP:16 =160 gold) leaving her with 148 gold.

Erdathcath then leaves the Marketplace, feeling well prepared for her next quest.

At Fabians, he sells the Pauldrons (SP:2, suitable to Knights, Skirmishers and Dragoons) for 30 gold.

Fabian takes the pauldrons from Hybros and gives him 30 gold in return.

"It is a done deal, Master Mummy! I don't believe I've had these in stock before..."

He then approaches Fabian, asking if he would take the White Marksman's Hat (⅙ chance of Assassination vs. Flying monsters; Headwear) and Gentleman's Hat (SP: 1, suitable for men, headgear. The wearer has a 1/2 chance to not be affected by (Asleep) for 30 gold for the pair.

OoC: Just for the record, bolding words has a better effect in making them pop out if you don't bold almost everything.

"So that would be 15 gold each? Certainly, for a strapping fellow such as you!"

Fabian takes the hats and hands 30 gold to Em.

Jeaux wandered into the marketplace to prepare for his upcoming reunion with the regret. He stopped by Portia's first to buy a couple phoenix essences. He then headed to Anywl's smith shop to sell Eminus and upgrade his handcannon to WP 13. Finally, he made one last stop at Fabian's where he sold the Ranger's quiver he had bought so long ago and bought a pair of spellbound gloves

Karie makes her way into the marketplace, looking about. Even in six months, the place hadn't changed. She makes her way to Portia's.

"Alright, I'm going to need four Phoenix Essences (200 gold), two nostrums (70 gold), two neutralizers (100 gold), two grand tonics (60 gold), and three remedies (30 gold). I'll also grab a Mulled Wine (55 gold)."

Portia grabs all the items and places them in a small box, in which she begins to calculate everything.

"Blimey, your looking at about 515 gold." (200+70+100+60+30+55=515)

Karie counts her gold out before placing the hefty sum on the counter, leaving her with 760 gold. She nods to Portia as she leaves. 1275-515=760

She then heads over to Gnomeo's, looking through his wares.

"I'll snag a Magic Compass, a Pickaxe, and a shovel off your hands. (80 gold)"

She hands him the coin, leaving her with 680 gold (760-80=680).

With that, Karie departs the Marketplace.

[Sandy]

Taking a stroll through the Marketplace, Ellaria stops by at Fabian's to sell her Tricorne for 60 gold (78+60=138 gold).

Then she goes to Portia and buys a combo of Mead, Smelling Salts and Nostrum for 75 gold (138-75=63 gold).

Hybros stops at Portia's and purchases 3 Grand Tonics for 90 gold. "I suppose I will be needing these now..."

Before his quest, Grimwald buys 3 Smelling Salts (75), a Phoenix Essence (50), 3 Meads (45), 2 Nostrums (70), and 2 Mulled Wines (110) for a total of 350 gold, leaving him with 398 gold (748 - 350 = 398).

Nyx swings by the Marketplace on her way to meet her friends for her next quest.

"Hallo Portia, I'm running short on a few supplies. I'd like a Smelling Salts (-25), a Potion (-5), and a Remedy (-10) please." Nyx smiles with thanks as she hands over 40 gold to the stallholder, leaving her with 252 gold. With nothing else catching her eye, Nyx continues on her way to her quest.

Francis wanders over to Gnomeo's tool shed and looks over all the products. After a while he comes to a conclusion on what to buy. He hands 5 gold over to Gnomeo and takes a bedroll.

Annienal walks into the marketplace, feeling overwhelmed by the amount of vendors and other sellers. She makes her way to the gnome and pulls out her meagre amount of coins.

"Excuse me, um, Mr. gnome? How much is a bedroll?"

She pays five gold for the bedroll, leaving her with a measly five gold. 5-10=5 gold.

Annienal then leaves the marketplace, feeling slightly relieved as she does so.

[The Legonater]

Dyric returns to the Marketplace, ready to make some changes.

First, he de-merges the Amethyst from Requiem for 50 gold.

Second he removes all but the Amethyst and Diamond from his Tricorne, spending 350 gold.

He moves all of these into the Night Helmet for another 350, as well as his spare amethyst for another 50.

[Asphalt]

Vindsval enters the market and moves first to Portia's Potion Shack.

If I were less in need there would be a great many items here I could make use of. As it is, I will limit myself to one Smoke Bomb. Thank you, my lady.

He hands her 5 gold in exchange for a smoke bomb. It literally disappears in his enormous hand.

He continues along the shops until he comes to Gnomeo's Tool Shed.

Friend Gnomeo, It was recomended to me that I purchase one of your fine bedrolls.

He hands the small man the last of his coin and takes the largest bedroll he can find.

Purchased smoke bomb and bedroll for a total of 10 gold.

Benji rushes to the marketplace, not wanting to be late for his next quest.

He quickly purchases the following things:

1x smelling salts - 25

1x mead - 15

1x - phoenix essence - 50

Upgrade Meduiak (WP:18) to WP:20 - 190+200 = 390 gold

Upgrade Crossbow of the Pongcanis (WP:16) to WP:17 = 170 gold

25+15+50+390+170 = 670 gold

702-670 = 32 gold remaining

And then runs out, towards the docks...

Atramor made a quick stop at the market on his way through Eubric, selling the Anointed Spear, the Paladin Shield, and the High Heels for a total of 70 gold. He then had his new Opal imbued into his Galactic Armor at the cost of 50.

I am in a bad mood and feel the need to get rid of some stuff in my baggage.

I approach Anwyl grumpily.

"Here, I picked up this sword down under. Forged by the Moon Elves from what I hear. It's a great sword ... er though a longsword really. Anyway, that'll be 75 gold."

I sell my Archaic Starbeam Blade for 75 gold before heading over to Gnomeo's.

"Bah, you say that those compasses can help you find what one is looking for, eh? I don't believe a word of that, but I'm feeling particularly directionless right now and I've got loose change on my hand, so perhaps I'll give it a try.

I purchase a Magic Compass from Gnomeo for 50 gold and leave the marketplace...for now.

1181+75-50=1206 gold remaining.

Heckz enters the Marketplace and immediately goes to Fabian's store.

"Hi Fa-Boo! Mind if I do some selling?"

He sells his Spellbound Gloves for 50 gold. He then goes to the and upgrades the Solemn Scythe 2 times and imbues an Amethyst into it. After that he buys a Nostrum. He leaves the Marketplace with 669 gold (934 + 50 - 110 - 120 - 50 - 35).
