Heroica RPG - Marketplace

Annienal wanders into the marketplace, looking over her own stock of inventory before coming to Anwyl's. She looks over her College Halbred , wondering if she was brave enough to do it before hastily tossing it into a heap of scrap. She collects her 15 gold and heads to Fabian's.

15+58= 73 gold

Entering the store, she begins to browse, looking over some of the more kitschy jewelry before realizing their price. She quietly looks through the armour rack, trying to find something that might help her, but finds nothing of interest until she comes across a set of Pauldrons. She quietly pays the 60 gold to the moustached man before leaving the market. A measly sum of 13 gold was left in her pockets.

The newly begowned minstel passes through the marketplace bestowing sunny smiles as she goes. Small snatches of tune humed under her breath float around those she trades with.

She sells several items to Fabian and another to Anywl

Hammer (WP:6) 30g

Heavy Armor (SP:5, Immune to Fragile, suitable for barbarians, knights, dragoons, skirmishers and regulators; bodywear) 115g

Robe of the Archmagi (SP:3; Max Ether +5; Immune to Sealed; bodywear) 150g

White Cloak (Max. HP +3, back wear) 30g

She collects a total of 325gold giving her 574gold in all

She then hands a battered wooden flute to Anywl who hands it back in fit condition to be used in battle 50g

and buys the lesser etherial cloak 150g and leather armour 30g from Fabian.

Giving him a saucy whisper in the ear, she asks him to add the scroll of sealed to the cloak. 50g.

Having spend 280 gold, she returns to the hall with 294 gold.

Warlen swung by the marketplace and saw the new stall.

He sold his Wooden staff of the Dark Druid (WP:3) for $15, and purchased a fire bomb.

This left him with $30 Gold.

(20+15-5=30)

[Palathadric]

I bring Arthur's three spears to the Marketplace and upgrade them each to WP: 10 each at Anwyl's.

"Now you're bringing spears? Are you intending to use those as a Druid as well?"

"Just a precautionary measure," I assure him.

"Precautionary against what?"

"Do you want my gold or don't you?"

"Grumble...grumble."

I upgrade the spears for 100 + 100 + 100 = 300 * 75% = 225 gold. 255 - 225 = 30 gold profit.

With some time on her hands, Purpearl makes her way into the Marketplace and buys 10 Grand Tonics from Portia. With 38 Gold left in her pouch and a full set of battle ready armour, she heads towards Bric'lin, alone.

Approaching the proprietor, he holds out Grimmau's Clothespin in one hand, and an unremarkable Helmet in the other. "Master Fabian, how about 40 gold for these two excellent pieces of headgear?"

With an insulted look on his face, Matthias pulls on Fabian's jacket to get the elf's attention. "I am quite insulted that you will not speak to me, Master Fabian," he says.

Kiray walked to the smith, a bounce in her step after the successful quest she recently completed. She had gold, it felt amazing, and now she was about to get even more. She sold 3 inert blades for 25 gold each. ((5x5)x3=75 gold) She now had 272+75=347 gold.

Kiray went to Anwyl and sold her Sword of the Kin(WP 3) for 15 gold. (15+347=362 gold)

Matthias eyes the blonde elf suspiciously, wondering if Fabian might have ulterior motives for ignoring a gnome, but hands him the two headgear items and pockets 40 gold. On his way out of the shop, he ogles a Gentleman's Hat, but can't find the courage to part from his hard-earned gold so quickly; underneath the hat is a fold of cloth tagged Robe of the Elven Necromancer that also looks useful, but Matthias' recent experiences with Necromancers have not been good, so he leaves the Boutique and makes his way back to the Hall.

Kiray walked towards Anwyl. She nodded her head and handed him her Scutum shield, WP:3. She sold it for 15 gold, bringing her total up to 377 gold. Then, she bought a shield for 50 gold, leaving her with 322 gold. "I'll probably find a better one soon with my luck, but this will do for now."

Kiray then went to Fabian. "Can you remove the ruby from this Flameproof Armor for me, and then put it in my Fishy Scale Mail?" She handed over the armors, paid 50 gold to remove the gem, and then put it in the second armor. "Thanks, Fabian." She now had 222 gold.

I was sure I did this already.

I remove the Ruby from my Impervious Shield for 50-75%=38 gold and then sell the Shield back to Anwyl for 25 gold.

38-25=13 gold less.

Guts walks into Fabian's shop, and buys Grimmau's Clothespin, for 60 gold, and then holds up his Crocodile Armour (+4 Defense +Immunity to Water Magic, bodywear).

Alexandre sells his Black Knight Armor for 100 gold. (592+100=692)

Alexandre upgrades his shield to SP:11. (692 gold - 110 = 581.) Then upgrades it again to SP:12 (581-120= 461) Then he sells his Winged Sandals for 40 gold. (461+40=501) Then he buys Fighting Boots for 200. (501-200=301) Then he buys Heavy armor for 230. (301-230=71) Then sells 2 deadly venoms. (25x2=50+71=121) Finally he buys the Gladiator Helmet for 120 gold. (121-120=1)

Actaeon quickly buys a Ranger's Quiver and then departs (354-20=334).

"Your call, sire. It's just that all the other armors that give 4 SP in my store are sold for 200 gold, there's no way I could sell a similar one for double that prize."

Taking Matthais' gold and handcannon to the market, I imbue the two gems he gave me into it for 50+50=100*75%=75 gold.

85-75=10 gold profit.

I come into the market again and marvel over how much time I've spent here recently. Approaching Mr. Almight, I purchase:

2x Blind Bomb

2x Confuse Bomb

2x Poison Bomb

2x Seal Bomb

2x Sleep Bomb

4x Stun Bomb

for a total of 14*30=420*75%=315 gold.

365-315=50 gold profit.

I then purchase

2x Blind Bomb

2x Seal Bomb

2x Sleep Bomb

for myself for a total of 180*.75=135 gold.

135-50=85 gold spent.

I sell my Silver Ore for sixty gold. 82+60=142 gold.

I remove the two gems from my recently acquired staff for 2 * 50 = 100 - 25% = 75 gold.

Arriving at the marketplace yet again, I ahead straight for Anwyl's.

"Surprised to see you hear," I say, "I had the impression you were dying."

"What? Who told you that?"

"Don't know. Was tipped off by someone."

Grunt.

"I suggest you should watch your back."

Grunt.

"Here, in case you die tomorrow, I'd like these gems removed from this equipment."

I proceed to hand him the Twin Axe, 3 Torches, Voltedge, and the Sharkskin Armour.

Anwyl removes the six gems and then imbues a Ruby in the Heavy Armour and the Titanic Axe, before upgrading the Titanic Axe to WP: 12.

50 * 8 = 400 + 120 = 520 - .75% = 390.

442 - 390 = 52 gold profit.

Wandering over to Fabian's, I see a lovely warm cloak which would make a lovely replacement for my old one in the future.

Forking over 375 gold, I purchase the Marauder's Mantle and leave the market 375 - 52 = 323 gold lighter.
