Heading into the marketplace, I head over to Portia's and quickly select the following:

4x smelling salt

3x nostrum

1x grand potion

2x potion

4x elixir

3x grand tonic

3x stun bomb

3x sleep bomb

1x Robe of Archmagi

I then remove the Opal and Aquamarine from Benji's Nordic Stomach Guard and the Emerald from the Brown Dragon Girdle

for a total of 100+105+10+10+160+90+90+90+300+150=1110 * 0.75 = 833

944-833=111 profit!

Siercon enters the marketplace weary from his long journey into the mines. 'Hopefully Delfrin and Duplovia will strengthen their fragile peace.' he thought to himself. "But for now, I must train and equip myself for the next trial.'

He approaches Fabian's Fantabulous Fashion Boutique.

"Greetings" he said breaking the atmospheric din. "I would like to purchase those." He said motioning to a pair of magicians gloves.

He continued to par-rouse and found himself at Portia's Potion Shack.

Gathering 2 potions, 2 remedies, he proceeds to pay Portia.

375g-(5*2)g-(10*2)g=345g remaining

Lastly he makes his way over to Anwyl's Smokebeard Smithy

I would like to sell these items:

Norgh Axe (WP:5) 50g/2= +25g

Shield (SP:1) 50/5/2= +5g

Duplovian Sword (WP:3) 50/5*3/2= +15g

(I just valued the items that are lower than his standard stock (5) as linear increments of 10g per lvl. I imagine an increasing curve is more accurate coupled with an initial item existence/materials cost, but ... seemed overly complicated. lmk if you want me to change the gold number, or if there is another standard people follow for weaker than basic items.

Thalion enters the Marketplace and sells the Bad Luck Charm, Robe of the Archmagi, a Magic Compass, 4 Venoms and Silver Ore (+ 100 + 150 + 25 + 20 + 60). He puts all of his spare gems, apart from Zirconia and Garnet and a set of 6 scrolls (one of each) into Norgh Armor (- 400 - 300). He takes out the Amethyst from Batarang and Spear of the Dark Priest (- 100), and sells the weapons, keeping the gems (+65 + 40) then puts an Amethyst into Ratsbane (- 50). (A weapon as fine as this deserves a better name... I think I will name it Nightfall.) He also buys 2 Potions, 4 Grand Potions, 4 Remedies, 4 Meads 4 Smelling Salts, 2 Nostrums, 2 Mulled Wines, 2 Blind Bombs, 2 Sleep Bombs, 2 Seal Bombs, a Broomstick, a Blessed Amulet, a Snake Eye Charm, a Shackles of War and Heart Locket (- 10 - 40 - 40 - 60 - 100 - 70 - 110 - 60 - 60 - 60 - 50 - 40 - 40 - 40 - 20 - 40 = - 800).

Final calculation: 1385 + 460 = 1845 gold - (1650 * 75 / 100=) 1238 = 607 gold left. Thalion leaves the Marketplace with his coin purse a lot lighter but with his backpack full of new and upgraded equipment.

What can I serve you with dear warrior, the Portia the shopkeeper asks.

I would like one of those small healing potio...

But then he hears his friends hail him to join them on the quest the had signed up for.

Keliim also hurries off but shouts out to the shopkeeper:

"Gnomeo! How are you!" Siercon says. "Listen I've been doing a lot of thinking. And I've become keenly interested in bomb crafting. Any who, I'd like to start a new combination of bomb. Here are the items I've brought with me, and a list of items I will buy and combined."

First off here is the recipe:

The above, is the lowest ranking Cataclysm Bomb. The rank is determined by the number at the end of the name. So for instance today I would like to make this:

Siercon gives Gnomeo 51gold, and walks away with Heroicas first "Cataclysm Bomb"

QM Note: You did it correctly. Except that the name of the bombcrafter is Dain Almight, not Gnomeo.

Having received his coffee from the barkeep in the Hall, Bobby made his way to the Marketplace.

Bobby's first goal is to recoup the money that he lost in the Decamon Tournament. His father always taught him about good spending habits, and how you should always be making money, not losing it. So Bobby first goes to Dain and sells the two bombs he received in the tournament, making himself 100 gold in the process. He next drops off his Dope Dagger, garnering 15 gold, and sells the soiled small clothes too, gaining another 15 gold. He grins as he sells those, but the strange man at the forge makes no comment. He then asks for the man to work his magic with his whip, and goes off to sell his venom and pick up an extra potion and remedy, putting him down a total of 18 gold. When he returns his whip has been improved quite a bit. He gives it a few experimental cracks, shakes the man's hand, and heads back to the Hall.

He concludes his purchases with a 30 gold Magnifying Glass. 165-30=135.

Undone the merge of the Amethyst (Darkness) and Opal (Ice) from the Fauxthril Crossbow, then he merge the two gems in the Delfrin Master Bow and upgraded it from 8 WP to 9 WP and then to 10 WP.

Annienal then picks up two remedies before heading over to Gnomeo's and purchasing a shovel in silence. (283-30=253 gold) Annienal then departs from the market.

Atramor dropped by the Marketplace briefly for 10 Grand Tonics at the cost of 300 gold.

Althior stops at the Market, selling his Hydra Fang (WP 10), Winged Sandals, Crocodile Purse, and Crocodile Belt. (1450+50+20+30+40=1590). He then makes his way over to Anwyl, handing over his Scepter for numerous upgrades, raising it to WP: 19 (1590-170-180-190=1050). He then adds both of his grating stones to it, raising it to WP: 21. He makes his way over to Portia, purchasing 2 Nostrums (1050-35-35=980). His pockets now a bit lighter, he makes his way back to the hall to be prepped for his quest.

Arthur strolls casually through the Marketplace, first leaving his Dauntlet Index and Spider Leg Spear with Anwyl to have their gems removed (-100), then strolling past Portia's for some purchases.

"Hmm, it is a fine protective coat for sure, Master Alchemist, but there are no other properties to justify me selling it forward for 500 gold... At most I can give you 150 gold for it, I am sorry to say."
