Though in the future I cannot guarantee I will not call on your services for that. The smith goes into his forge and works his skill on the two items. He comes back out and hands them to Vindsval who hands him 100 gold in return. Vindsval thinks a moment looking at the weapon in his hand. He closes his eyes and mutters over it for a moment, asking his god to bless his new weapon and guide his mind. Indeed I will. "I would have some "merchandise" I would like to know the value of but then I also have this rusty, torn axe that would need a small cleaning and repair." Keliim shows the smithy the axe and the dwarvens eyes glow up and he takes the axe from Keliims hands and says: "Where did you get this, this is not rust you big oaf" Before Keliim can respond anything the dwarf goes over to his blacksmiths table and starts cleaning the axe: "Get over here and I will show you what you have here! Keliim walks over to the table and he can see that the axe has some markings on it and is of a copper bright reddish color, now when the some of the filth and dust is removed. The dwarf contiues talking: "Take a look here, what do you see, these are ancient dwarven runes!" Keliim looks closer. "Thou are right there is some writting on there, do thee know what it means?" "No, afraid not but I know this axe, I have heard some stories about it or them. You see this is one axe of two, twin axes and the legend says there was twin dwarven brothers who smithed them and wielded them. Brokkr and Eitri, were the names of the dwarves if I remember correctly. Brokkr Brokkr And this "rusty color" as you put it is an metal called Orichalcum, not too common these days." I really love this weather, reminds me of home.Thinking of home, it would be time to get back my fathers hammer, I should use Shawnes hint and take a closer look at the thugs at the Lady lucks tavern, if I could find out something about my robbers. He takes a few deep breaths of the cold, fresh air and heads towards the hovel. OoC: What is the really value of those 2 items and how do you count it? OoC: You can sell weapons automatically for 5 times their WP, but the resale value of artifacts (which the helmet is) needs to be negotiated separately. Please read the first post of this topic carefully, this is all explained there. The blacksmith is willing to buy the sword off of Keliim for 25 gold, but for the helmet he urges him to go offer it to Fabian, the artifact seller. Quote

Anwyl raises an eyebrow. Knowing better than to question my unusual choices of weapons to upgrade. Perhaps he's getting wise to what's going on. I whistle innocently. Quote

(350-50+120=420 gold) She then goes to Fabian and offers Sterile Gloves (immunity to poisoned and bleeding, handwear), Black Bandana (Power +3, pirate lingo; headwear) and Paper Doll (Protects from hexed; accessory) for sale, asking (40+60+20=120 gold) for them. Fabian agrees to the price. (420+120=540 gold) Ellaria then purchases Robe of the Magi and Rubber Gloves from Fabian for (30+300=330 gold). Zepher Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Boomingham shambles into the Marketplace. He burps and winces at his own breath. He sells his silver ore to a shady man he meets on a street corner. His next stop is at Portia's, where he sells back his two grand tonics and his grand potion, and picks up 3 meads. He then heads over to Anwyl's, who scowls at him but still takes his business: he implants his garnet into Scupperer and his Sapphire into his Frozen Saber, and then has Anwyl sharpen both blades (+5 WP Saber, +3 WP Scupperer). He then pulls out the beaten old Saber. Atramor had sent it to him for Grogmas a few years back, and he'd held onto it for just that reason, but it was weighing him down needlessly, so he passed it over to Anwyl to scrap. Maybe the boy would use that same metal to enhance one of his own weapons some day. Boomingham next heads over to Fabian's shop, where the elf pays him 60 gold for his Mopag Helm (SP:3). (OoC: Hope that's alright, Sandy! It's essentially the same item as the Tricorne, just trying to save us both time!) Upon entering the marketplace, he approaches a small stall, with tools, each one gleamingly polished, stacked up neatly to one side. He makes a show of inspecting the wares, before settling on a bedroll, and handing over the approiate coinage, he then moves on to a stall set slightly apart from the others, and much more messily aranged, with bombs and other explosive devices scattered on the floor around it. With a gloved hand he slips a smoke bomb into his cloak and upon paying, sets off in a brisk walk on a course for triad park and from their, to Crescent hill. 10-5-5=0 gold Quote

Stopping by Portia's the cleric restocked his inventory with 3 remedies, 1 potion, and 2 tonics for 65 Gold. With 81 Gold still in his purse the vampire moved onto Dain Almight's stall and picked up a sleep bomb, 2 Fire Bombs, 2 Holy Bombs, 2 Lightning Bombs, and 2 Dirt Bombs combining each for 2 gold creating military grade bombs and leaving him with 3 Gold.
