[Sirius Black]

Bob walked into the marketplace, looking to pick up a few essentials for future quests. He quickly stopped by Porta's, where he picked up a potion, a fire bomb, a tonic and a nostrum for 50 gold, leaving him with 223. Moving on, though not without pondering a few more nostrums, Bob purchased a bedroll for 10 gold, resulting in 213 gold remaining. Deciding that this was good for now, Bob decided to leave and return to Heroi-

"Ooh, Shiny!"

The wagon in front of him, Elphaba's Magic wagon, as it appeared to be called, was filled with shining, sparkling gems. Forgetting about any notion of saving his money, Bob rushed over to the wagon and purchased A topaz gem for 100 gold, leaving him with 113. Looking around the shop, and not quite satisfied with all the curiosities in the wagon, Bob purchased a Nimbus Broomstick for 50 gold, leaving him with 63 gold, and, with what little gold Bob had left, he upgraded the Broomstick to WP 6 for 60 gold, leaving him with three gold. With a much lighter purse, and a significantly improved inventory, Bob headed back to the hall.

Having realized no one in the Hall wanted a discounted Ruby Namyrra sought out Elphaba in the marketplace and sold the ruby to her for 50 gold.

That morning, Anwyl Smokebeard woke up from his room behind the smithy. He reached out to wrap his arm around the woman who had shared his bed last night, but he grasped only empty sheets. The woman was gone, without a word or a note. But Anwyl was used to this, as it had happened many times before. Even without going out he knew that he would not find the rickety wagon standing on the paving anymore. The faux dwarf smelled the sheets and caught a whisk of that herbal scent he had come to adore.

"Elphie..." he murmured before he got up, got dressed and got back to his daily work.

~Elphaba's Magic Wagon has left the Marketplace. Who knows when it will return, stocked with new mysterious items...~

Jess still hadn't appeared so Haldor walked into the market. He went over to Smokebeard's smithy and put his metal rod down on the counter.

"I'd like my rod upgraded to WP: 9 please."

"Arright, that'll be 170 gold."

Haldor hands over 170 gold pieces, leaving him with 170.

"Okay Anwyl, with my new skills, I need the gem out of this bow if that wouldn't be to hard for you." (362-50=312)

"In case you guys missed this with all the talking in the hall, I have a Focal Staff WP: 5 Focus Fire-Roll a 3 for 5 ether, Suitable for clerics and mages. For sale for 50 gold. If anyone wants let me know."

Althior sends Finnegan into the market to sell Althior's Water bomb for 5 gold. Finnegan hurrys back before he's abused for taking too long.

Alf hears the offer and walks over to Alexis Fenral. "We not meet? Me Alf, What your name?"

"Alexis, Alexis Fenral."

"Nice meet you. I almost become magey barbarian. Anyway, I hear you selling staff thingy, I be will to buy it." Alf takes out his remaining 50 gold and passes it to Alexis.

Hoke enters the Marketplace to sale the Sapper.

Sapper (WP:7, Lifesteal) - Each successful attack (a /roll of 1-3) restores 2 health to the wielder. Suitable for Rogues

"Anyone care to make an offer?"

Jess wanders into the marketplace with a ditzy look on her face. Seeing Hoke waving a dagger about, she decides to go over and say hello.

"Hi there, Hokey," Jess says, a stupid grin on her face. "Nice dagger you have there. Would you take 50 gold for it?"

Hoke leaned forward and looked into Jess's glassy eyes. He leaned back, and cleared his throat.

"That sounds like an interesting offer, though you may want to use your coin on some type of, ahem, medicinal creams."

Atramor quickly ran forward, out of breath.

"*Huff* Hold up! I'll trade you this shiny thing for it," he exclaims, flashing the Aquamarine Dagger before Hoke's eyes. "You won't be able to use it, but there's a nice shiny gem in it you can remove and put in that Greatsword of yours, not to mention the thing's worth more than average with its hollow blade in the market. A bit of work, but you can't buy gems like these no more."

Haldor stumbles into the marketplace, bumping into people and objects. He accidently whacks into Hoke, but stands up again. His eyes glazed over and a dizzy smile accross his face. Giving no clue of the events of last night, but most people would find it obvious.

"Arright Hoke? Hazz it goon?"

Haldor then bumbles over to the smithy, and buys an upgrade for his rod (WP:9 to WP:10). He then turns around and goes back to Hoke.

"Wazzup?"

Tesni walked into the marketplace. She sold Training Spear (WP: 2), Training Morning Star (WP: 2) for 10 gold apiece. Then she announced to the others in the market " I have Mercutio's Dagger of Mugging (WP:5, Mug Ability +5) for sale. Does anyone have any offers?" She then started to browse the other stalls, considering what to buy for her new class.

"Yes it's all yours, here it is." She hands the staff to Alf. (312+50=362)

Alexis walks over to the Smithy.

"While I'm here, Anwyl, I'd like this upgraded to WP:9." She places her bow on the counter. (362-90=272)

First Namyrra went to Anwyl and paid him 60 gold to upgrade her lullaby wand to WP 6. After admiring his handiwork for a few moments she proceeded to Porthia and bought 1 Nostrum for 20 gold, 3 Potions for 15 gold, and 1 phoenix essence for 50 gold.

145 - (60 + 20 + 3x5 + 50) = 0 gold left

Having thus spent all her money she returned to the Hall to wait for news about the upcoming quests.

Seeing that Hoke most likely was not going to take her offer, Jess grabbed Haldor's hand and dragged him to Tesni.

"Ohai thar Tes!" Jess said, still dazed from the previous night's events. "Fifty gold for the dagger? I could also throw in a mead, if that would sweeten the deal."

Skrall strode through the stalls of the marketplace stopping at Anwyl's shop. "My good sir, I'm in need of outfitting this weapon for some more sportly beasts, if ya would please tighten up that bow string I'd be most appreciative. Don't worry about setting it too high, I shouldn't have any trouble." Skrall hands over his Hunter's Crossbow to upgrade from level 6 to level 9 (273-70-80-90= 33 left). "I'd also like to sell this Gear, I don't think I'll be in need of it." Skrall sells the Gear (33+10=43). Heading over to Portia's Potion stall, Skrall purchases a Lightning Bomb, a Water Bomb, 2 Potions, and another bottle of Smelling Salts (43-5-5-5-5-20= 3 left). Slipping the items into his satchel and stopping by Anwyl's to pick up his crossbow, Skrall headed for the Hall in preparation for his next quest.

OOC: Forgot to update my gold, I should have +20 after selling two for 10. So 480, until Jess pays for the dagger and I make my purchases.

Tesni had a lot of gold sat in her purse, deciding to shop before her quest she walked into the market.

Stopping at Portia's she bought 2 Meads (2x10= 20. 480-20= 460) and 2 Nostrums (2x20+ 40. 460-40= 420). Pausing as she left, she decided to buy 1 Phoenix Essence (50, 420-50 = 370)

At Anwyl's stall she upgraded Cysgodion to WP:10, (9x10= 90, 10x10=100 100+90= 190 370-190 = 180)

If you would separate the gem for me, I would gladly trade for the gem and dagger.

Hoke leaves Atramor to contemplate the offer and heads over to gather supplies for the upcoming quest.

"Good Mr. Smokebeard, I would like a few upgrades please and to sell you my long sword. Many thanks."

Hoke leaves the Marketplace a few coins later but better equipped.

Atramor mumbles to himself.

"Downright extortion...."

He sells all of his equipment, including a Pickaxe, Shovel, and Magnifying Glass, 2 Orc Potions, and the Grand Potion in his dagger.

(8 + 5 + 10 + 20 + 2 + 5 = 50)

He then removes the Aquamarine from the dagger, and stuffs both into Hoke's hand, taking the Sapper in return, leaving him completely broke with nearly nothing to his name. Except for a shiny dagger and 3 Orc Potions. He hoped it'd be worth it...

Hoke slides the shiny gem into his belt pouch and the dagger into his belt and clasps Atramor's forearm.

"Many thanks. May your quests bring you glory and fortune."

"Gods know I need both of those now...." mumbles Atramor, though he wishes Hoke luck on his quest.

Rushing through the marketplace, Tesni bought a Mockthril Shield (SP: 4, protective equipment, suitable for knights), the extra 50 gold from Jess would be helpful now... (180+50= 230 - 40 = 190.) and upgraded it there and then to SP:5 (190-50= 140).
