Sandy Posted December 4, 2011 Author Posted December 4, 2011 The old crone in the apotechary had not been pleased when Ellaria had left for another quest, but the cleric had promised to make it up for her employer now. That was why she had not have time to visit the Heroica Hall or even the Marketplace before this. She pondered what to do with the 432 gold she had in her purse. Since she was low on potions, she decided to go to Portia's shack first. "Greetings! I wish to buy 2 Grand Potions (20 gold), 1 Grand Tonic (30 gold), 2 Elixirs (80 gold), 2 Remedies (20 gold) and 2 Phoenix Essences (100 gold). Hold on! I'd also like to purchase 1 Smelling Salts (20 gold) and 1 Nostrum (20 gold) along with 2 Smoke Bombs (10 gold), and finally two of each elemental bomb (100 gold) for a total of 400 gold. Thank you very much!" (432-20-30-80-20-100-20-20-10-100=82 gold remaining) Ellaria's purse was much lighter now, but her bag was heavy with all sorts of potions. She now knew better than to go unprepared for her next quest. Quote
Flipz Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 -==IC: Arthur==- Arthur enters the marketplace, and promptly trips over someone's outstretched foot--from the brife glance he got, it belonged to one of the women he had accidentally tripped earlier. He bounced and rolled through the marketplace, finally sliding to a halt at Gnomeo's toolshed. The gnome is too busy laughing at Arthur to speak coherently, so Arthur just hands over 5 gold, takes his new bedroll, and leaves back to Heroica Hall. Quote

"Dear Portia, I'd like to sell 1 tonic for 7 gold and make a purchase of 1 vial of smelling salts (leaving him with 2 gold)." En Sabah Nur knew if things got too tough in battle he might have to take a moment to switch headgear. Quote

posades Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Xander enters the marketplace, preparing himself for the long journey ahead of him in Quest #17. Xander feared the enemies would be larger in number and strength than the previous quest -- he would need a stronger weapon. Reasoning that protecting his quest mates in the first place would be a wiser choice than using the slow process of reviving them with Phoenix Essence, he made his way to the Smithy; upgrading his Pongcanis Club from WP:5 to WP:8 filled Xander with determination. With his coin pouch -210g lighter, he made his way back to Heroica Hall with 30g remaining. Quote

Zepher Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 (edited) Boomingham marches into the marketplace humming a tune that no one hums anymore. He steps up to Anwyl first, and hands him The King of the Desert and his ruby. "Resmith this if you would, and maybe stick the ruby in there. I'll be adding a garnet and an amethyst as soon as I pick it up. And hell, stick a name on the side if you feel like it." Boomingham then goes over to Portia and gives her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Good to see you again, my love. I'll take four of those meads off of your hands... and... that's all I suppose." He hands Portia some gold. (197-(10x3)=167) Boomingham then goes back to Anwyl, and picks up his newly fashioned sword, now WP: 9 and a fire elemental. Scribbled words in some other language, probably some lose ancient language, which Boomingham assumed said the sword's name. (167-(90+50)=27) Boomingham walked back to the hall in high spirits, hoping he'd remember to use the mead when he needed it as opposed to when he wanted it. Edited December 18, 2011 by Zepher Quote

He decides to sell his Shark Fang Dagger (WP:3) for 15 gold. 0 + 15 = 15 gold in possession, leaving him with 160 gold. He then decides to upgrade the quality of his Mockthril Staff (WP: 4) into a WP: 6 staff. WP:4->WP:5(50Gold)->WP:6(60Gold) = 110 Gold. This leaves Sarick with 50 gold remaining.
