Artoo, though I'm sorry that you feel somewhat angry at me for this review, I cannot agree with these statements:

I don't want to sound mean in any way, but you really shouldn't criticize the old LEGO Mini-figures. Please be considerate others may not like what your saying, as I have seen in a lot of your other reviews.

I do not find it 'inconsiderate' to say whatever I want to say in a review. Everybody has their own opinion, and since I am the one reviewing, I get to share mine. Personally, I do not understand why people would get themselves in a tizzy over something that some anonymous person on the internet wrote about the set. You don't really know me, and I don't really know you. What I try to accomplish in a review is to show a set in enough depth that you could throw out all of my comments and still get a good sense of the set. This is true because some people are not going to agree with what I have to say about the set anyway, but my review should still be of use to them. Or they can just get a good laugh. I often employ a lot of hyperbole, it's true, but that is the way I like to write.

Also, please do not blow something that is not really true out of proportion, as you do with these comments:

Because it sounds like you don't like any LEGO from far back as 2008. In every review you say how you think every new LEGO Mini-figure is better than the ''Horrible'', or ''Ridiculous'' or ''Disgusting'' old Mini-figure.

Looking at the text of this review, I do not find that I even dug into the old versions very much. I said these are better, that's it. I even said that Anakin's old face captured the character better. You are basing an opinion of me off of my reviews of the recent Harry Potter sets, but Harry Potter is a different story. If I had reviewed the old HP sets at the time of their release and slammed the minifigs (because of would've), nobody would've cried foul. But that's a different discussion.

Please check out my review of 8092 Luke's Landspeeder to see that, even when I'm reviewing a new set, sometimes I like the old figures equally well. Also be sure to look at my reviews of 7110 Landspeeder and 7101 Lightsaber Duel, from which you will find that I absolutely do not hate the old figures.

Thanks for the review!

According to the poll, it seems like that there is a group of people loving this set, while others don't like it at all. I've mixed feelings about it myself. Since TPM was the first SW-movie I've ever seen, (on TV, while I'd get Luke's Landspeeder as I present, still remember how I was wondering what the chrome lightsaber was  ) it is kind of nostalgic for me. However, after I became more familair with the OT movies, they were my favorite. When I now watch TPM, I hate how little Anakin is making stupid comments and being the hero.

But I wander too much away from the topic.

The set itself is not bad, but I'd rather spend my money on the Republic Cruiser or Millenium Falcon. Both the podracers may be cool to look at, but I buy most of the SW sets for the figures and parts anyway.
